I used Jason's services for the first time on Monday 1/15/2018. I had an exhaust system installed and also I wanted some body skirts installed as well on my 2017 Subaru WRX. His attention to detail, sincerity and politeness was first grade. He told me that the front skirt was warped and it was; he suggested to try to heat it up to correct the issue, but at the end he suggested not to do it as it would not look well at all. Jason also gave me some advice on improvements on my car; he used to own a Subaru STI. For Subaru owners, this is the place to go to save money vs. the dealership labor costs. Jason is a Subaru certified technician with 16 years of experience and has another mechanic that is also certified on Subaru's. He performs all the regular maintenance designed for Subaru's and uses all Subaru OEM products and enters all the work for your car in Carfax so it is recorded. Brought my 2006 Chevy Suburban in for some long overdue maintenance, seal replacement and overall assessment on the vehicle. Fantastic shop and Michael and Jason were friendly and honest with the type of work needed to be done. No BS and all the work was presented in an easy to read online document including pictures on preliminary inspection/diagnostics. This continued as they initiated the authorized repairs including phone calls, text messaging, pictures and status updates throughout the entire repair process. Got the vehicle back in a timely manner after repairs were complete and was given another run down of the repairs completed. The team at Ewing Automotive did an excellent job on my 2008 Volvo XC90. First off they listened to what I thought was happening with my car. They took that and investigated more to both verify and or identify possible repairs that were needed. Using a Digital Vehicle Inspection Report they were able to share with me a concise recap with photos of what was found. It identified through the process things that were fine as well. Once we talked and went through list I was able to let them know what repairs to do. Car was delivered ahead of schedule back to me. Even had all the old parts for my inspection to see condition of them and why they were replaced. If you own a Volvo and you want optimum life, Johnny's Auto Clinic is where you need your car serviced. They are family owned, straight forward, fair and do solid work. Typically you take you car to them, they assess, give you an estimate based on what they find, you select the work to be done. They recommend, you decide what is done, you determine the budget. I am a customer of more than 20 years and more than eight Volvos. Under their care my cars typically are in service for 250,000 to 300,000 miles. Here is my experience: Not once, has my car not been ready when promised. Not once has my bill been more than the estimate. Not once have I have to have a given repair corrected or redone. Took my Volvo C30 for the entire duration I owned it to Johnny's Auto Clinic and they simply have the BEST service and staff. Pricing for maintenance undercut the dealer by a significant amount, and when other issues arose I always knew the job was getting done right. Never felt pressured into anything like other shops, and issues were thoroughly explained and taken care of. My only complaint is that I wish they serviced MORE vehicle brands so that I could continue taking my new vehicle there! :) Overall this place just left a last impression and could not have been happier with the work done here. Best repair shop I've ever been to. Left a car overnight with no warning, called in the morning and diagnosis was complete within an hour or two. They even gave us a discount (without asking) to help us out since her engine blew. They also hooked us up with a tow service who towed it back for half the cost of what we paid to get it there from a shorter distance, Cozzy-rollen towing. I've had a lot of junk cars over the years and have been in my share of repair shops but I've never had an experience this good. I have used Jason's auto repair company for 4 years. Every time his service has been perhaps the best that I have seen in over 50 years of driving in 5 different states. His ability to troubleshoot the problems of modern gasoline and diesel engines is absolutely phenomenal. In addition, he fixes what needs to be fixed, and does not seek to inflate his invoice in order to charge more. It is extremely rare to find a truly honest mechanic today.
