I was thrilled when I saw this new restaurant being built, and after going there I'm even happier!! The food was delicious and the service was great. I ordered the chicken kabobs and they were cooked perfectly!! I loved the spices on the chicken. It was flavorful without being overpowering. I ordered the boiled potatoes to go with my meal. They were delicious--again the spice level was just right for me. Everything was fresh and hot, and it felt like it was cooked with care. I'll give it a 5, not the 'best ever" or even close, but perfectly cooked rotisserie chicken both times and flavorful. Very happy with the quality. As for the quantity they give you the whole chicken including backbone.NICE. No dipping sauces, they do have tasiki and barbecue, I just get to go, but like I said a perfect cook not a dry bite on the whole chicken, crispy skin, very tasty spices.Get the steamed potatoes and save to make hash browns for breakfast. Excellent! Also,had a rib and the gyro, the rib also nicely cooked and tasty, the gyro without acutrements like pickled veges, but as a standard working man's gyro, 5 stars. We are from out of town and wanted some good Greek! Not only was the food good but the restaurant was very clean! The cashier (probably owner) realized he over charged us for an extra rice without us realizing and was honest and brought us back money. There is so little honesty these days it was refreshing. My wife and I joined four other people in our group for a VERY welcome, first-time surprise visit. Even in the Chicago burbs, from where we moved recently, there is nothing like owner Shawn's (Sean's?) amazing Express Chicken. It's great to see such a nice addition to our neighborhood here in St. George. I had the #21 combo plate - served up fresh, tasty and promptly, with personalized service from the owner. My wife had the chicken kebab. We then treated ourselves to an impossible-to-find-elsewhere baklava - not at all greasy or overly sugary, but with the natural sweetness of the honey. I've been to Greece over two dozen times. I can honesty say that there is no comparable value to Express Chicken for Greek food anywhere around here. It will now compete for our favorite portfolio of St George restaurants across ALL different types of food for excellent value, tasty foods and service. The restaurant was clean and the service was ok, it was the food I had a problem with. The gyro was so bland and very little sauce so it seemed dry. I love greek rice but what they served tasted like instant rice with some paprika sprinkled on top. I took my granddaughter out to lunch and we were both excited to try it out because we love greek food. We will not go back. read more

We inadvertantly walked in just as they were closing up but the guy behind the counter (I'm assuming the owner) graciously welcomed us in and let us know he'd be happy to make us anything to go. We ordered 4 meals, were offered complementary drinks while we waited (he had to reheat the grill) and then he refused to take any tip. Getting home we discovered absolutely delicious food; enough fluffy rice to feed an army, moist and flavorful chicken, decent sized side salads with a tasty house dressing, fresh tzatziki and some of the best dolmades I've had. Chicken was juicy, tender, and flavorful, and the same with the ribs - very tender. First, the rotisserie chicken that I got on a Saturday had obviously been rotisserie days prior they brought it out of the refrigerator and microwaved it, and it looked and tasted like it was old. Next thing is they give you a big plastic thin throwaway plate and they put a heap of lettuce and dressing, potatoes and beans on the plate and everything seems to get mixed together so between the chicken and the wet runny sides the place is terrible! Yes, the portions are huge, the chicken is super tender and delicious, but we walked in and it totally smelled like "Fabulously" detergent. Totally ruined the whole experience. The salad was iceberg.
