Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. The person responsible for counting the items we wanted moved was still learning a new inventory system and took forever to complete it and ended up including items we did not want moved. Straightening things out with the estimator involved a lot of back and forth before reaching an agreed flat rate price, though we could never get a final list of all the items due to be moved for confirmation. Fortunately, Jessica, who stepped in at the last minute to confirm the move, convinced us an hourly rate might be more advantageous, and she was right, saving us a considerable sum. The crew who carried out the move, Josh, Anthony, and Tom, were terrific--friendly, efficient, and professional.
