    Never disappoints

Never disappoints, always a good option late at night or any time or day. Every location has been consistent

I come here often, today I went in and the very wonderful lady who's always serving the food recognized me before I even walked in and had my order ready before I even was able bring out my phone to pay for it. This is the zenith of customer service and everybody involved in that exchange deserves at least a nobel peace prize and a blessing from whatever God you do or do not believe in 10/10 I love you guys this made my entire decade

Ezell's is a A Seattle MUST! Listen folks, I am a native of Kentucky, so I know my fried chicken. When in Seattle when it comes to chicken, it has to be the Famous Ezell's! Don't even waste your time going to anywhere else! I recommend the spicy chicken, the mac and cheese, and omg the rolls! They are sooo good ! I order takeout from Ezells on the regular and they never disappoint. The chicken is always crispy and delicious, the rolls fluffy and soft, and the mac...well...you'll see. LOVE ME SOME EZELLS 10/10

Get the spicy strips. So delicious and not to hot. We door dashed to a hotel and could not try the sides until later. They did not pack utensils as requested. Chicken is amazing and would definitely buy again. The sides are ok.

    1 Pound Chicken Tender Combo

We doordashed a 1 pound chicken tender combo from here and it was. so. good. Granted it was midnight and it was definitely sort of a drunchie but I loved it. The rolls have a hint of sweetness, the chicken is super crispy, and the mac and cheese is solid. Bonus points if you make chicken and waffles with the leftovers the next morning ;)

Staying in Seattle for the weekend. We ordered Ezelle's to our hotel room on our last night so we could stay in and chill (because we are middle age). I was so excited to eat chicken and watch football after a fun day out. We ordered 2 small tender combos with mashed potatoes and orange crush. We added a side of Mac & cheese to share. Disappointment is what we got. So pros: the food came fast and the order was 100% correct. The bottled Orange Crush was a delightful menu surprise. It was cold and perfect. The ok: the chicken - it was just ok. Cooked well but just not super flavorful. Dipping in ranch helped. The bad: all of the sides!! The mashed potatoes and gravy were what my husband was most looking forward to. He took one bite and said, Nope! It just wasn't very good. The Mac and cheese was so bland that I did the same thing - took one bite and said, Nope! The rolls looked like they would be great but they just weren't. The rolls weren't bad, I guess, but neither of us ate after two bites. The second bite was to confirm that we didn't like them. It may be that our experience is down to our personal tastes but we are pretty universal in our enjoyment of all of these items when they taste good so maybe not.

I ordered a 1/2lb tender meal and they only gave me 2 tenders in the box. I called them to double check how many tenders I'm supposed to get. The lady said 4-5 and I said there was only 2 in the box and she proceeded to constantly say "we don't do that. It's impossible. We don't do that." And when I asked "what do you mean," she hung up on me. I think it's crazy how entitled they are to think they're never wrong. "Customer is always right," doesn't exist here. Would not recommend to anyone. Poor service and rude workers.

But it doesn't stop there. The moment you walk in, the hospitality hits you. Not forced, not fake. Real, warm, and ready. You feel like they've been expecting you. Now the food... this is where it gets serious. Whoever is in that kitchen is not just cooking. They are putting their soul on every plate. Every bite feels intentional. Nothing is over-seasoned. Nothing is missing. Just perfect balance, consistency, and flavor that makes you pause mid-bite like, "Hold on..." And the portions? Exactly what a Southern plate is supposed to look like. No shortcuts. No playing around. You're getting your money's worth and then some. I don't have pictures, and you'll understand why if you accidentally take a bite before you snap one. What really seals it is the vibe. The music is hitting. The energy is right. Before you know it, you're not just eating. You're enjoying the moment. Wally's isn't somewhere you just try. It's somewhere you go back to again and again. Once you find it, you already know. You don't just eat, You eat WELL. This place isn't good. It's necessary.

First time at this establishment I was excited. It's been on my list of places to try in Seattle…read more I was really looking forward to supporting a community that is part of the LGBTQIA+ they are also a family business well-known in the community and of color. The restaurant is very clean, was greeted by two servers working, friendly atmosphere, noise level was average and it's a smaller establishment, please keep that in mind. We ordered the french fries which are shoestring fries, side of catfish, a side of red beans and rice, and a side plate of fried green tomatoes, which comes with four bite-size pieces. Being from the south born and raised, I'm a particular about my catfish and even though the breading had flavor, the catfish to me did not taste very clean plus there was a hair stuck to the breading of the catfish. It wasn't a small hair. The mystery hair either fell in the oil or it was in the batter is my guess. Because when I went to break the catfish apart, that is when it sprung the rest of it out, there was a small curl tip sticking out of the top of the fish. Unfortunately, the green tomatoes had absolutely no flavor. I will say the red beans and rice had the most flavor. I could taste the seasoning and the spice with a little bit of heat. I also really appreciate that there was some veggies mixed in with some meat as well. The shoestring fries it's either a hit for some or a miss and for me it was a miss, but I've had lots of different kinds of shoestring fries from multiple locations, and different states. It's a hard one to make. They were fried crispy and excellent. I would say it's more of the seasoning that was a dislike. The decor throughout the restaurant was beautiful to view. There are photos of the owners their family and friends. Not only could I see the love and commitment put into this restaurant, but also I could feel it as soon as I walked in. My takeaway is for the cooks to wear hairnets and if they have beards, to also put nets on their beards to further prevent hairs falling into people's food. Fried green tomatoes are not an item that can be found at most restaurants. It's easy to make but definitely the seasoning on it could be improved. Also, possibly just going simple with the seasoning like salt and a little pepper on the shoestring fries, sometimes keeping it simple is the best. A topic I want to touch on, not because I got it, but because going through the reviews prior to coming not too many people were discussing the waffles and this was a direct witness of what I could see. I did not taste it so I can't describe how the waffles tasted, but they look like they were cooked golden brown, which was nice but they are I would say more on the thinner side than what I usually see at places that serve chicken and waffles. If you are reading this review and you are looking for a place that serves you a nice thick waffle please do not come here because you will be disappointed, and I do not want people being disappointed when they are looking for something in particular and they end up ordering something that they did not want. Besides my recommendations, as I mentioned, this is a place that is full of love and commitment and I appreciate the community that has supported this establishment. It is not easy keeping a restaurant open and it's even harder these days being a person of color to even have your own establishment. As always, my friends be safe out there. Thank you for reading this review and I'll see you at my next bite *=*

I tell my non-Asian friends that they should leave an Asian restaurant if you don't see any Asians inside. I am happy to say we were the odd ducks in this place! Love me some legit soul food. The menu is straightforward. We ordered at the counter. The food is brought to our table. The food took quite a while with big crowds coming in after us. I suspect they cook in batches as multiple groups received food at the same time. It was mostly self-service (utensils, water) until the restaurant quieted down, then we saw servers cleaning tables, etc. The Food: Combo Dinner with two sides, $26 - 5 Stars The combo plat offers two meat choices. I chose the wings and catfish. The wings are sizable and plump. Highly recommend. The catfish was a thinner cut and a bit dryer. I liked the very thin breading on the catfish, not greasy, and it tasted good with Tabasco. For sides, both the collard greens and fried okra are excellent. In fact, I say the okra is perfection! The little corn bread is just right for me. I thought the corn bread has good flavor while hubby said it was too dry. Catfish Dinner with two sides, $24 - 3.5 Stars Hubby complained the catfish was too thin. He's not a Tabasco person, so that doesn't help. I gave him two wings to calm him down. Lol. He loved the hush puppies the best. They are huge with a wonderful crisp. I agree with him! He thought the yams are too sweet; they do look sweet in the liquids but isn't that want yams are intended to be? I think he just needs to order differently in the future. Note they have a 3.5% service charge for credit card purchases. See line on the menu photo.

Cheese is a dairy product made by fermenting milk and draining off the excess liquid. Depending on the style, cheese can range in flavor from mild and sweet to savory and nutty to funky and pungent. It's been enjoyed in cultures around the world for thousands of years, and today, cheesemaking takes place on every continent except Antarctica. In Seattle's Pike Place Market, visitors to Beecher's Handmade Cheese have a cheese lover's dream come true. They watched a glass-walled cheesemaking kitchen firsthand on the crafting of their signature favorite, Flagship cheese, as well as many of the other award-winning cheeses when my partner, his family, and I visited in July. To our surprise, there was no wait when we arrived, which was unexpected given how popular this place is. Bite sizes of Flagship and Marco Polo cheese were available for samplings. From the very first bite, we were hooked by its rich, creamy texture and perfectly balanced flavors. While there is no dine-in option, it's strictly a pickup spot. Located on the upper floor of Pike's Place, this cute bar has a good amount of seating with both table and bar top options. We went on a Saturday night at around 9 PM and it wasn't too crowded -- we were quickly seated at the bar top for a party of two. When you walk in you'll notice that they have a more rustic, dark ambiance that still provides a more casual feel. We were immediately greeted by our host and were seated right away! We were having a late dinner so we ended up getting the Tater Tots with all the toppings, beef tartare, and a side of their coleslaw. For the two of us, that was more than enough! Their portion sizes were very generous and filling. The tater tots were amazing, with the perfect amount of crisp, sauce, and toppings! The beef tartare was also so delicious with the perfect amount of seasoning and the yolk beautifully ran through the meat. For drinks, we ended up getting two cocktails as well as as a whiskey flight. For the cocktails we ordered the Turn the Page and Angel's Wings. Both drinks were absolutely amazing! It was the perfect balance of tasting the spirit with its complementary fruity notes. Our bartender also curated a flight for us based on our budget, preferences, and curiosities because we were interested in learning more about the different whiskeys and it was such an amazing experience! I learned so much about whiskeys and tried new ones that I never would've considered trying otherwise! Overall, this was such an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend checking our Radiator Whiskey if you're in the Seattle area! In no particular order. It's a greasy spoon .... so unclean the tables are sticky. Enough said. I could not confirm that it was real Woodford Reserve Bourbon in my custom Manhattan, and by the insta-headaches it gave me, it certainly wasn't. Serving well-whiskey under brand label is illegal and the Washington State Liquor Board wouldn't take kindly if I reported it on my phone before even paying the bill the next time. Radiator Whiskey with a entire wall full of Whiskey bottles is playing with fire and just crossed the line with me. I will be back to check up on that. The pulled pork sandwich was ok, but minimalist dry with just a sprinkle of coleslaw and red onions. So was the side salad, dry, with the dressing being 'barely there.' Barely there was also the AC on this night of a heatwave. With closed windows. I was sweaty and couldn't wait to get out into fresh air of the same temperature while sticking to my table. As for the vibe, they play alternative punk rock, maybe a bit too loud for good conversation. All I can say here is each to their own, but the place just wasn't for me.
