    Spicy jalapeño martini

The restaurant itself was very cute. The staff were very pleasant and our waiter Massimo was great! I love Italian food and it has good rating so i figured why not try this place. I ordered the bruschetta and I was a bit disappointed because the bread was not crunchy and the tomatoes were so so. I ordered the pesto gnocchi and was slightly disappointed. The gnocchi was kinda chewy, my friend ordered the chicken piccata which was better than the pesto IMO. I enjoyed my jalapeño martini and the Pinot was nice. The tiramisu was good but their limoncello cake was refreshing, light and delish! I was not impressed but I would go back and try something different. The parking was a little tricky to find but they have a parking lot which is great. We were in the area for a show at the Pantages theater which is walking distance.

and my son order it's steak is was super bad just peace of meet with no flavor at all. service was , ok. But the prices are super high, $175 for 2 of this plates Grilled Skirt Steak. And salmon with shrimps , very bad experiencia, i have eaten at rusty pelican in newport ,or orange hills in anaheim way beautiful places and good food for almost same price , food is not worth the price

Outside dining area with razor wire

The food was good, but overpriced and incorrect. I placed an order for the chicken Dijon which was listed as coming with rosemary potatoes. It did not. Staff were not rude, but seemed dismissive and inattentive. We were never asked if we wanted to order anything other than water. Once we received our dinners, we did not see a server until we'd finished and they asked if we wanted dessert. The razor wire around the outside tent highlights the overall cheapness of the outside dining area. It seems slapped together and not well kept. The plants are sick with spider mites and there is art on the floor, making it feel more like a storage area than a nice dining area.

I The flavors are decent, but the tomato in the caprese was very thin. My biggest gripe is that service, like mentioned in other reviews, is very slow. Ambiance is fine. You're in a canopy with heaters. Why not 3 or 4 stars? I think for the price, I've had much better food and service.

We came here for dinner before a play at the Pantages. The restaurant is very quant with with a semi outdoor patio dinning space and plenty of parking in the rear. For $8 you can leave your car and walk to the Pantages which is two blocks away. We started off with drinks, I had a Moscow Mule, my wife had a Chianti, and our friends had Sangria. I wasn't that thrilled with my drink but everybody else seemed to enjoy theirs. We ordered the calamari which was pretty good and garlic bread which was way too garlicky. For our main entrees, I ordered the grilled salmon, which was very good and full of flavors. I really liked the celery sauce it came with and sautéed veggies. My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana and didn't like it, she only took a few bites and left the rest. Our friends shared the avocado salad and meatballs and spaghetti. They really enjoyed both dishes. We ordered the tiramisu and grandmas tart, both very good. The service was good, our lead waiter had a bit of an attitude. But the team overall was very good especially the gentleman that waited to open the gate after we returned from the play.

My friend and I came here for dinner because we were going to a concert across the street and figured it would be convenient. I ordered the vodka penne with chicken and wasn't a big fan. It definitely needed flavor. I feel like the chicken already being mixed in with the pasta upon arrival was odd and ruined the presentation. The prices are pretty high so I was expecting an amazing pasta dish. Our server wasn't very tentative either, will not be coming back.

The short rib pasta was cooked perfectly and the right amount of cheesy and a little sweet. We were all so full after. Sangria and cocktails were all great as well. There is a $35 cake fee which I didn't mind because they cut and serve it for you, thought we did have to ask 3 different people for our cake and then ask again to have the leftovers boxed and given back to us. This is my second time here: last trip was in 2022, where I had the best fig and gorgonzola pizza and bone marrow of ma liiiiiife (in addition to some pasta dishes)! This time, I had six dishes, split with my friends: the fig and gorgonzola pizza (again--why mess with a fave?), the octopus and calamari (surprise hit!), the oxtail ravioli (good--but not my favorite; portion was super small too!), the gnocchi (good, but not amazing), the lamb ragu pici (AMAAAAAAZING!). We also had some beverages; a cellador saison and 2 glasses of red wine. The service and attention is good. I will say that inside the restaurant, it is BUMPING! We are so glad we got a table out on the patio so we could actually converse (inside the restaurant, the music is so loud, you practically have to yell!) If you sit outside, say hi to the family of raccoons on the roof! I will also say, since 2022, this restaurant is now "highly recommended" by the Michelin guide...which has definitely increased its popularity. Somehow, this has translated to much smaller portions though. They encourage sharing "family style" with friends, but the portions are so small, you really only get a few bites from the pasta dishes before it's all gone! (The pizza is at least bigger). So, while Bestia is fantastic, prepare to order a lot more to be truly full and spend at least $100 per person. For all 6 dishes, drinks, and tax (without tip) our total for 3 people was $250.01.

My kid was cold outside, she offered to let us sit inside instead, we didn't really want to wait longer so she brought us a blanket. That was so very nice of her. The music in this place was insanely loud. Honestly had my ears ringing 20 mins after I left the restaurant. Food was great. Grilled Branzino was great with the pine nuts. Total perfection. Saffron pici was my favorite. Lamb ragu is soft and flavorful. Dessert We had the chocolate tart and strawberry crostata, love both of them. For 3 adults and 1 kid including tip around $400. It's great for the quality of the food. But not sure if I want to go through the seating situation again. So all in all, maybe once in a blue moon, we will be back.
