I went to Faces and Names for happy hour while in NYC for work and this establishment is a very cute hidden gem. It was getting busy when our party of 7 arrived and we were escorted to a comfortable spot in the back. The drinks were good but the service was kind of slow. I would definitely give them another try the next time I'm in the area.

This is a nice weather review. Why go to a rooftop bar and pay rooftop prices when you can get fresh air and a nice drink. When the weather gets nice, this place gets a whole new review from the perspective of someone who appreciates nice weather. The service is excellent. As long as you have a group consensus, you can get them to open up the windows. It has the same feeling as a rooftop bar, with a closer view of pedestrians. It makes for a good people watching spot. The food here isn't the main draw, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. As far as low key bars go, this place deserves an A+. Even on a Monday. Jayne and Taylor will hook you up. They are amazing. I love this place and I think you will too.

We came to this restaurant while in New York. We started with a portion of pretzel bites with mustard and some adult beverages. The pretzels were baked and not fried which is the sign of a good appetizer! The server was attentive to our needs. The restaurant was not too loud which was perfect for conversation with my husband especially after the hustle and bustle outside. The food was great! I thoroughly enjoyed my ground beef sliders and he loved his chicken sandwich. I would definitely recommend this restaurant especially if the line is down the street at Ellen's Stardust Diner.

We were looking for a spot to grab food before heading to Radio City Music Hall for a concert. This bar is located just a few blocks away, a quick 10 min walk. We tried the Fried Mozzarella Balls which my niece loved. Reminded her of a mozzarella stick. The Fresh cut French fries are one of the best, seriously super good crispy yet soft fries. I tried the Mini burgers without a bun, they were pretty good, but were missing the pickles that it was suppose to come with. I'm sure these are delicious with their potato bun, sadly not gluten free. The Mini Mushroom Tacos are fire, be sure to try these. They only come on flour tortillas, so definitely not gluten free. The food was really good! A great spot for dinner! The cocktails are delicious too! I had a spicy Margarita and a spicy Paloma! The service is fantastic! Very friendly and welcoming. Great vibes, played fun music, and pretty spacious. This bar is kid friendly until 8pm. I would definitely recommend this spot for food and drinks, it was an overall great experience.

This place has so many drinks and plenty of options for a casual lunch or dinner with friends! The drinks are a bit on a sweeter side but really like the ones with the citrus. For apps I really liked the portion of mini tacos which is great for sharing and as usual wings are always a win. The fries and burger were pretty standard and filling. I was surprised by one of their cake slices that was very tasty and flavorful compared to the other two kinds. The chocolate was the best and richest. Service was nice, the lady who handled our party of 7 was really patient with us and made sure we got everything. The ambience is pretty relaxed and the back area is really nice and much more open than the front area. This place really is ideal for apps and drinks! with a group of 4-5!

Ambiance - 3/5 Plain n simple but clean Food - 3.75/5 based on what I got Service - 4/5 We stopped here to watch the super bowl as it was close to our hotel. They had superb bowl specials and a available seats so it was a win for us. I asked the bartender what was good to eat ans he said the tacos. They did not disappoint! Loved them and it was a GOOD! portion. I don't know what else is good but for my first time I was quite satisfied!

Came here for superbowl, honestly super cool decor, good vibes, nice staff, managed to kill 3 bottles of wine between 3 people so we clearly had fun. Would def come back. Fries were a yummy snack for the table

During my friends and I quick trip to New York we were recommended this place by a staff member at our hotel. The restaurant was dimly lit. A nice size bar and a good amount of tables to dine at. We sat at the bar and was served promptly. My buffalo chicken wrap was ok not the best in my opinion. The fries were perfectly seasoned. I did try my friend quesadilla and it was very good! The drinks were good and strong! If I am back in the city I will definitely return!

A quick walk over and we were seated immediately on a Saturday morning. Highlights: decor is lovely and welcoming. Staff is quick and uber friendly, answering menu questions with no fuss. If you're a celiac like me - Friedmans has you covered with plentiful GF options. Mimosas are $10 all day. Coffee is dark and strong. BUT THE FOOD. I was craving something healthy, and the Sesame salmon salad did not disappoint. Bright, flavorful, gluten free, fresh and filling. I happily devoured my plate and made mental notes to recreate this salad back home in CA. My husband enjoyed his Shakshuka and said it was very similar to his Greek mother's creation when he was a child. The lemon ricotta pancakes come out of the back at a quick clip - a very popular menu item. Maybe we can head back to share a plate! Lovely meal. The folks here are delightful.

Friedman is an absolute must-visit if you are looking for an incredible burger in NYC. I honestly…read moredid not expect to be this impressed, but this ended up being one of the best burgers I have ever had -- and quite possibly the best burger of my life. I ordered the burger with cheese, and everything about it was perfect. The burger itself was THICK, incredibly juicy, and cooked beautifully. You could immediately tell that the meat was high quality, and knowing that they use Creekstone beef made it even better. The flavor was rich and beefy without being overwhelming, and every bite was incredibly satisfying. The patty had that perfect combination of a beautifully cooked exterior while still being extremely juicy and tender inside. And the bread deserves its own paragraph! The brioche-style bun was excellent. It was soft, slightly buttery, and substantial enough to hold the thick patty without falling apart or becoming soggy. It complemented the burger perfectly rather than taking away from the meat. The combination of the juicy Creekstone beef, melted cheese, and that excellent brioche-style bread was honestly phenomenal. What really stood out to me was how substantial the burger was. This wasn't one of those thin burgers where you finish it and immediately feel like you could eat another one. It was thick, hearty, juicy, and incredibly flavorful. Every bite felt like you were getting exactly what you want from a great burger. The fries were also excellent. I really appreciated that they weren't overly fried or greasy. They had a great texture and were crispy without feeling heavy or excessively oily. Sometimes fries can completely overwhelm a meal because they're so fried, but these were much more balanced and paired perfectly with the burger. Overall, Friedman absolutely exceeded my expectations. The burger, especially with the cheese, was outstanding, the Creekstone beef was incredibly flavorful, the brioche-style bun was excellent, and the fries were the perfect accompaniment. If you're in NYC and love burgers, this is a must-go-to. I would absolutely order this burger again and would highly recommend Friedman to anyone looking for a thick, juicy, high-quality burger. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever

But to my surprise, the host was able to seat me at their community table within just a couple of minutes. What a relief! Now, onto the important part -- the food. I started with a ginger lime soda, which was refreshing and the perfect way to kick things off. For my appetizer, I went with the whipped ricotta, and wow, it was creamy, light, and absolutely divine. For my main course, I ordered the chicken parmesan with homemade vodka sauce-doused pasta, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the sauce was flavorful, and the homemade pasta elevated the whole dish to another level. Everything was absolutely fabulous. The whole time I was eating, I kept watching the waiters bring out dish after dish from the kitchen, and honestly, everything looked incredible. I was kicking myself for coming solo -- I wish I had been there with a group so we could have ordered more and shared! This is definitely a place you want to come to with friends so you can try a little bit of everything. I also have to shout out the service -- it was fast and attentive without ever being pushy. My server checked in at all the right moments and never made me feel rushed. It's that perfect balance where you feel well taken care of but can still enjoy your meal at your own pace. The ambiance is really fun and cool without being pretentious or overly trendy. I never felt out of place, which I really appreciated. It's the kind of spot where you can dress up or keep it casual and still feel right at home. One small note -- the lighting is on the darker side, so if you're someone who is sensitive to dim lighting, just be aware of that. Personally, I thought it added to the vibe. And can we talk about the prices? For New York City, this place is surprisingly reasonable, especially for Midtown. You're getting high-quality, delicious Italian food without the sticker shock that so many NYC restaurants come with. Bottom line: La Pecora Bianca is delicious, welcoming, and well-priced. I will absolutely be back -- and next time, I'm bringing friends.
