Went here before seeing a Sunday matinee at NYCC. Only party in attendance at around noon so we felt comfortable but it definitely started getting busier around 1:30. We've been here pre-pandemic and know it's a reliable spot for burgers, tacos, fries, and pretzel bites. Mini tacos were surprisingly filling. Waiter was attentive and polite, but not overly friendly. Note that sliders (mini burgers) don't come with fries and you have to order extra but it does come with a regular burger. The bathrooms in the basement were out of order while we were there so everyone from all parties were using the single person handicap stall on the main floor which created a line. Management was just like, "yeah it's out," when another party asked if the bathrooms were open yet and it was a pretty casual response. I've been wanting to try this place for a while but I was disappointed. They only had holiday themed drinks on the menu. I'm sure they can also make regular drinks but I didn't ask. I've now been here a handful of times. This seems to be the perfect go to spot after visiting the Moma/ watching films at the Moma that screen late in the evening. The vibe feels like an elevated dive bar with caricatures of famous people on the walls. They also have space in the back that can be reserved and used for private events. Everything here is just right. They stay open late. The cocktails are pretty good and strong: I had the margarita, whiskey sour and a vodka tonic. The short rib sliders are my go to and they never disappoint- full of flavor and juicy patties. The service is friendly and attentive. It can be a bit difficult to ha e conversations as the music is pretty loud but all in all it's a great vibe. read more

I would say the food is a little dry, but for what i got, I enjoyed the food. The waiters and workers were delightful to talk to and I overall had an enjoyable experience here with my friends. Great food and atmosphere. We came on a Wednesday evening, it was def crowded by the bar area for times during COVID, which means it's good vibes! Although it's a lounge, we were able to sit as a family in the back and it was secluded and nice. The food was awesome. I'd say the chicken tacos are the best tacos I ever had and the buffalo wings. You will wait FoRever for a server to come. They are not nice or friendly or helpful. We were never given water until asked with beers and cocktails. There were 3 of us, only 2 main courses arrived and they hit only did not apologize but were rude. We ordered the Mac n cheese and I were told it takes longer than the burger and the shrimp tacos! On Friday 20 of June 2025, A couple of female friends and myself attend Faces and Names and as we take outside one of the female went to the bathroom and was sexual assorted by another customer he tried to force her in the man room with him and an audication accused between me and that customer. The fight was broken up and the manager assured me that they were sorry and the bill was on the house.... but the next day I had a 400 bill on my statement and when I reach out to to get clarity on why was i charged the next day i was made aware that the head manager was in on Mondays but would call me when she came in that was two week ago I finally called and spoke to the head manager today who denied everything that nothing was promise regarding the bill and that my friend was attacked yet I have 4 women that would say differently. Went last night for a but because we had an extra hour to chill due to clocks going back-woohoo! We had wings which were perfectly fried and sauce was like a hot/mildy/spice. They were great! My boyfriend and I went out and tried this place for the first time. The Mini Chicken Tacos are absolutely amazing. Great seasoning. We also ordered their Gyoza, not bad at all. Top notch bar on the west side. This place is amazing. Michael, Anna, and Megan. All you need to know to get it right. I rolled in with a group of colleagues. The GM put our group in the back and totally made it as perfect-as-possible for us, put the right game on for us, and had good music on. I know we are just rolling out of COVID-19, but the care that the GM (and her team) put into our group was well noticed by all. A lot of us migrated here after a sour experience with a different local favorite. Seriously, if you want great food in a lively environment or a great after-hours place with friends or colleagues, Faces should be at the top of your list. Probably one of my new favorite midtown bars to come to now. Discovered this spot with a couple of friends who work at a steak house near by. The drinks were great and I decided to come here this weekend as my first stop for my birthday. I had 15+ people coming in and everyone (including the managers) were attentive and made sure that the staff took care of us. We sat in the back of bar which had nice leather chairs and TV's making it a good place to watch sports. Pricing here is very reasonable and the even though we only had a couple appetizers, they sure were delicious. This bar has a very chill atmosphere, a great drink selection, and a great place to hang on any occasion. I will be sure to continue coming here in the future. read more

The place was busy and the bartenders were still so attentive, they were not annoyed at all, very happy bunch. The drinks were very good and perfectly made. I could have investigated the high price establishment with that screaming dude's name on the door. I pay for quality, not hype, these days. The bar seating could be bigger. I squeezed on to an empty stool between an amorous couple and a lonely iPod dude. Extra Dirty Stoli straight was the order. You'd be surprised how many bartenders get that wrong. Not the case here. I had the opportunity to come here for a tasting event with friends for lunch on a Sunday. A reservation had been made for us before but when we walked in there was only one other person at the restaurant! Given that it has a more American sports bar vibe I could understand why it might not be someones first choice but if you're in the midtown area and looking for some common fare vibes this is definitely an option. We were seated when we arrived and given menus to look over to choose our main dishes. The server brought us out several of their house cocktails which were all flavorful and strong (which we liked). We got an order of burger sliders, wings, and onion rings for our appetizers. For the main I went with the chicken club sandwich which was super tasty! Went with a group of 7. The place was busy, but not overly busy due to the World Cup final game on TV. My chicken club sandwich was very good and the rest of the party had various salads. There were a number of missteps by the wait staff and kitchen such as wrong dressings, certain items not getting brought out, bad tasting draft beer, etc. I was ready to give them a two star rating. It wasn't bad enough to complain, but enough not to return. Well, without any prompting, the server and manager both came out with four desserts for us to share and took off all the drinks and the onion rings which came out very late. We were all very impressed with this effort on their part. So i give them a four star rating without any reservation. The interior of the restaurant is very comfortable and has the feel of a country club lounge. read more
