I have lived close by to Falcos all my life and It's the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. The cheese and sausage is the BEST! YUMMY! We live pretty close, so we always go and pick up our pizza. I recommend pick up or delivery, it's the better way to go. The dining room area is usually packed and too noisy, better to go for lunch or some beers. They have a special everyday from 11am-2pm 5.95 all you can eat slices and they are HUGE slices. The beer specials are better then most bars I've been to. Pick up or get yourself some delivery for the pizza. If it's lunch or your looking to grab a few drinks head to the dining room. Falcos is my favorite! 5 stars! read more

I have been a fan of Falco's for over 30 years!!! Since moving to San Diego 12 years ago, I don't get to enjoy it as much as I would like to. Desperate to find good pizza on the south side! My BF recommended this place because he remembered it from his childhood and it is also so close to our home. We ordered thin crust with garlic, olives, and fresh tomatoes. The delivery was quick and pizza looked great. The crust was good but the pizza was quite inedible! The pizza was soooo overloaded with green and black olives that it was too salty. I tried to pick off most of it but the olive juice made the pizza just intolerable. There must have been two whole cans of olives on the pizza. I am an olive lover, but c'mon Pizza Maker guy, some common sense here? My BF took the pizza with him to work the next day to share with his fellow union carpenters but he had no takers. One guy took a bite, but said "whoa gross!" and into the trash the pie went. I have ordered pizza from Falco's before and the pizza is delicious. The first time that we decided to try out the bar with a friend. The bartender lady was very friendly and told us to come back. We had ordered a pizza and so we waited while we drank a pitcher of beer, ate an appetizer and watched television in the bar. We left within an hour. Well we decided to go back in two weeks. I just came back from there and I am telling you that I will not go back. We had ordered the pitcher of beer and also an appetizer and within an hour we are presented with the check which neither of us asked for. As soon as we pay her she says good bye girls basically kicking us out. Let me tell you that I feel confused because we were not rowdy or anything like that. My brother also tried the chicken alfredo pasta and it was delicious as well. Poor customer service. There was Only one waitress attending all the customers. We waited 15 min to put our pizza order in. Their spinich on pizza has like and old taste and dark color looking too. I love spinich on pizza and I have tried it again with spinich and no more it's just their way of spinich, I thought maybe that first time was like an acident with old spinich but I guess it's their style or something. DON'T ORDER ONLINE, the site will debit your account but the staff at the pizzeria will not acknowledge the order, they will not help you to resolve the problem either, a woman told me she would call me right back and didn't, when I called back she told me she was busy tending to other orders, meanwhile I'm in for thirty bucks, an order did not get placed and my girlfriend is on her way to pick it up, arg@%#$*! Ordered a pizza for delivery last night for delivery. After an hour and fifteen minutes I received a call from the driver saying he was out front. I had to go out to the front of my house to get my order, he didn't come to the door. The surprise came when we opened the box and found the pizza totally mangles and smashed to one side of the box. It has obviously been dropped. I called Falcos who said they could bring me another one, in another 1 1/2 hours or they could give me "a couple buck credit" on my next order. I'm giving this place three stars, because the pizza was pretty good, even though it took about twice as long to come out as the waitress said it would. But that probably wasn't her fault. Make sure to drink your drink slowly, because you might only get one. I bet this place would be great for take out or delivery, but I wouldn't suggest sitting there. Me and hubby went there today (Feb 16) at about 8:30 pm . We've eaten there before and had a taste for their greasy flavorful pizza. We sat down and waited and waited and waited. There weren't very many customers in the place, just a few guys drinking beers and one family just finishing their dinner. We waited and waited. The waitress looked at us once in a while from behind the bar where she chatted with another waitress. She would then look away. We never even got a, "I'll be right with you" or anything. Couldn't help but notice that all the customers she did talk to were speaking Spanish. My husband and I are Polish and look it. I guess I should learn Spanish if we ever want to eat there. We continued to wait and wait as the waitress finally came by but then kept on walking past us. Oh well. We got up, put our coats on and walked out. No one ever said anything to us. We were pretty hungry so we went to Illinois Bar and Grill on 47th just west of Pulaski and got a pitcher and two of their amazing half pound burgers. We felt happy after this great meal and even happier that we were treated with kindness and respect by Illinois Bar and Grill's friendly wait staff . I suppose I should review Illinois Bar and Grill. There have probably been many wonderful reviews of this place already. We should have gone here first. We will never go back to Falco's. I can't imagine why anyone would. read more

Where do I start? My family used to go to Falco's all the time. The pizza back then was very good. I don't know what changed. The physical location of Falco's is actually very nice with a nicely designed menu and a good layout to serve customers. Yet, the pizza is greasy and over priced. I went back and checked into Falco's. Been there plenty of times, but realized that I haven't checked in enough. This place is the best thin crust pizza in the city. There is no better combination of grease oozing to the top, floury flaky crust, and piping hot ingredients. The beauty of Falco's is that you can sit down to order your fresh pizza how you want it, or choose from one of the many varieties by the slice. The prices are more than reasonable, and the food is always spot on. Service is not what you always expect (white table cloth and waiter wearing a jacket). You have to understand that sometimes, one staff member is waiting tables, busing tables, and serving drinks. I also think they may be in the back slinging dough too. Be kind, have your order ready, understand it's not Lincoln Park, and you'll enjoy an amazing pizza. read more

So fair warning to anyone and everyone who is familiar with the REAL Falcos recipe. I grew up with the original Falcos on Archer & California in Chicago. As they have branched out,,, I have also had the Falcos on Cermak ave in Cicero IL recently as well. So that particular location has kept the very distinguishable flavor and all aspects of the recipe intact,,, including the crust which in one bite is evident that it is indeed the real deal Falcos. It is very similar to the original Home Run Inn crust and us also been one of the best Pizza's in Chicago for a long time. But THIS Falcos on Rt 83 in Burr Ridge,,,,, not even CLOSE to the real Falcos!!! I don't know what they did,,, but they should change the name of the place because I mean the sauce was TOTALLY different! It was that rich,, deep red pastey cheap kind of canned sauce or something. I don't know what that was! And the Crust!! NOT FALCOS,,, that's all I gotta say about that crust. If I presented five unnamed Pizza's for a taste test in front of you,,,, and told you that ONE of the Pizza's is Falcos,,,,, most everybody would pick a different Pizza and not the supposedly correct Pizza at that establishment in Burr Ridge. If I could give this place no stars, I would. Called at 8pm to make an order for pick up. Medium pizza and large order fries. Nothing complicated. Waited out front for 35 minutes, because they said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Turns out they never put the order in. They claimed they never got the order. That maybe I called a different place. Called back to talk to a manager and it seems like all they did was pick up the phone and leave it on the counter. I can clearly hear the girl taking orders for FALCO'S pizza. So obviously I'm not calling a different place. I've called back several times later and still the same thing. They pick up only to set the phone down. Not even a " please hold" , nothing. I usually like their pizza , but I don't care how good a place is. If the customer service is bad, like it was today. The pizza slices are the best I've ever had. So my review are for the slices. I've ordered many pizzas from here over the years having grown up 1 block away. The pizza is good BUT for some reason to this here yelper, the slices taste better. The have cheese, sausage, pepperoni, veggie ( not sure if it's still tomato and garlic or onion, green pepper and mushroom now) and the special (sausage, green pepper, onion and mushrooms). The sour dough crust and warm, thick cheese with sweet sauce will put your soul and mind to rest and take you to pizza heaven/nirvana. There's lots of pizza in Chicago and I this world. I've been eating Falcos pizza since I was a kid. It is definitely one of the best mom and pop pizza places on the south west side. I cant speak for the dine in environent because I've only eaten in there once as a kid. They have an extensive delivery zone so you'll be surprised if you think your too far. No need to order extra cheese. Toppings and quality are always perfect on this pizza. A little on the salty side, but I like that. Definitely worth a try!! read more

We all love Falco's, it has the best buttery rich crust , it;s very flavorful .... compared to some of the dull crusted pizzas out there like Papa Johns, dominos, yuk.
