Someone from the kitchen came out with a bowl full of rolls and started throwing them. Pretty unique idea. We caught a few and OMG the softest rolls I've ever had. Yum!! By the time the food came, I was starting to get full. Oh well it was worth it, and my grandson loved catching them. I ordered chicken fried chicken which was good but the gravy was a little bland. The first thing my wife said was that this place was decorated like Billie Gail's breakfast restaurant. It's a big restaurant. It's like a mash up between country bears and an old TGIF with all there crap from some garage sale on the walls Our waitress was a little rough around the edges. I ordered the chicken Fried chicken and for my sides, I wanted the green beans and french fries. She promptly informed me with a little attitude that I would be getting the mashed potatoes. Evidently the menu says two sides, but you don't get to pick them. The food was good although my green beans were a bit cold. I get the cutie part of them throwing bread rolls at you. They won't just hand you one. But the biggest problem I had was the fact that they are serving $40-$50 steaks, nice toasted yeast rolls..... and they serve cheap partially hydrogenated soybean oil as a butter substitute At these prices, they should have real butter on the table. I decided to check out this location for an early dinner. The location was easy to find and there seems to be a decent amount of parking. There is a Tesla charging area next building over which is nice. However, I didn't use it during this location Inside, there is a lot of seating. It's just a huge spot.. almost like a cafeteria with tables and booths I ordered the Country fried Steak which was good. Mashed potatoes had good flavor and so did the brown gravy. I tried their Very Berry Loaded Lemonade which was delicious. During dinner, it was entertaining to see "throw the rolls". So instead of every table getting a roll of bread, they will throw it to whomever wants it. The cheese fries come in a small portion and were a little on the skimpy side with the toppings and they definitely had sat a bit while waiting for the e rest of our food. The steak was tender but ordered medium and came out well done. The catfish was a little soggy. Green beans were mid. Chicken fried chicken was breaded nice and tasted ok. Potato salad was yuck. Fries were not fresh. Corn had no flavor. We ordered iced tea and the first cup tasted like water, it had zero tea flavor. Fall Creek, overall it was a positive experience for us. The portions were big and the food tasted well. It is a bit on the pricey side but all in all worth it. First of all, if it wasn't for our waitress being so amazing, we would have given the overall experience a lower rating. Denise gets a 5 star review. The food was pretty average. The ribs, chicken tenders, and burgers were overdone. We asked for extra crispy fries and they were underdone. The prices were pretty average...a little on the high side. I had heard such good things about this place, but I was very disappointed. We got the filet cooked medium, but it was so think that parts were definitely rare. The entire filet was a bit tough and chewy. I have never had a tough and chewy fillet at any Outback... the baked sweet potato was a bit too firm and underdone. This restaurant is typically busy, so it was great to go around 4:00 and not have to wait in line. That being said, we should not have had to wait to be seated for five minutes. We saw several employees, they were chatting among themselves or eating. About the time we went to search one out, someone came and seated us. Our waitress was very nice and personable, but her mind was some where else. She said that herself after taking something for us to the table behind us. Literally, this happened three or four times! The best part of the meal was the salad bar. It tasted fresh and there was a nice selection of toppings. That was all I ordered and I was stuffed from one trip. Our waiter was top notch! Came and checked on us regularly even tho there wasn't an empty seat in the house! That was great. Unfortunately the food could be better. My shrimp was actually very good, just wasn't ready for the heat. The mashed potatoes and gravy were horrible, and I love mashed potatoes. My husband got the all you can eat catfish- and being as we are from Montana- we are used to walleye. Sooo this catfish was like mush. And not a lot of flavor. We ordered the loaded cheese fries and honestly thought we were accidentally given a half order--very light on the toppings. For mains, we had the catfish, an 8 oz medium steak, and the chicken fried steak. The catfish looked great but was disappointingly mushy. The steak was tender but cooked well-done, not the medium we ordered. The chicken fried steak? Let's just say 'meh' sums it up. When my wife and I entered we were warmly welcomed by the young lady at the front. She showed us to our seat and then another young lady said that she would not be our server, but would like to get our drinks for us. Super kind, and a good start as we enjoyed the look of the place. We enjoyed all the stuff on the walls like at Billy Gail's. That was the last of the good. Our server would barely talk to us at all, we had to initiate all of the ordering as he just looked down at his pad. Beyond that, he didn't listen very well to what we had asked for. If it had been busy I could certainly understand, but there weren't many people there at that time of day. Next, the food was not good. My mac and cheese (an up-charge) was bland and watery, my French onion soup tasted like it was out of a can and brought out in a bowl just like the ones we have a home with cheese on top that wasn't melted (should have been under a broiler in a different kind of bowl), my steak fries were perfect, my steak was a good piece of meat but not well seasoned at all. My wife's meal was a bit better. She liked her green beans and sweet potato, but her steak was also woefully under seasoned. On top of it all, we were never offered a single one of the much advertised rolls. Everyone said they were good, but oh well... If someone had served this meal to me at their home I would have been pleased. However, my wife and I paid more for this bad meal than any other meal we've ever had. Our girls' trip started off on the wrong foot thanks to an incredibly rude and hateful waitress who not only had a terrible attitude but also got our order completely wrong. When the food finally arrived, it was cold, overcooked, and honestly just awful. There was no effort made to correct the mistakes or improve the experience. What should have been a fun night out turned into a disappointing and frustrating experience. We had a great time at this restaurant. I was recently there with a group of about 80, including 70ish high school students. The way our group was handled from start to finish was wonderful! We were seated immediately and were given four choices of meals. I had the chicken tenders and fries and the chicken was delicious. The breading on it was seasoned well and the chicken wasn't dry at all. Our directors were able to throw the rolls to our students and that made for a really good time. The kids had a lot of fun. I was impressed at how well they could handle this many people and have us in and out in under an hour. I didn't hear any complaints from our group on the food. I would like to go back when it is just my family and try some of the other dishes on the menu. read more

Friend and I went here when we were in Branson for the weekend. We arrived around the lunch hours and the place was pretty empty. Our waitress explained how the salad bar works (yes they have a real salad bar open!) and we were eager to hear it was open. My friend did end up getting the salad bar and enjoyed it. She shared that the there was nice variety and the items were all fresh. I asked lots of questions about menu items because I didn't really know what I wanted and she was very patient with me and I appreciated that she shared with me the top ordered dishes. I ended up ordering the cow patty and it was a great choice! The dish is HUGE and very flavorful. It really hit the spot. Their sweet tea is also delicious! They had no catfish. Hint the name catfish house!!! The service was absolutely terrible. We sat there for about an hour until they realized they "lost" our ticket. About 2 hours go by since we have been seated and we finally get our food, kinda. They messed up the rarity of our steaks. The fries tasted like they were cooked in boiling water. We also had no silverware to even eat our food. They felt bad so they offered us lava cakes on the house. How sweet right. Until we realized it was just chocolate cake with a tiny glob of chocolate. Never been to a restaurant where they throw your food to you, but there is always a first time. Every ten minutes or so they come out of the kitchen with a basket of hot rolls and yell "who wants a roll, raise your hand". They then toss a roll to every person with their hand up. The rolls are very good. The catfish was good. The grilled chicken was overcooked on one side and needed a side of bar-b-q sauce. The Cheddar burger was good and the baked potato was excellent. Or waitress LIZZIE was so nice and great. Manager came by to ask how our meal was. There was four of us. All meals were delicious! Pork chops were thick, juicy and delicious. First, as we approached the hostess stand, a server was berating one of the hostesses for seating a group in her section while she was on break. She saw us and didn't care. Next, I said hello to the other hostess and she looked at me and said nothing. She then just walked away. We should have left at this point, I know. The hostess who had been berated greeted us and took us to a table. My wife ordered a chicken salad with no onions - simple. It came out with onions. It took almost 10 minutes to get any server to come to our table to get it fixed. Once they were told, it took another 20+ minutes to remake a salad. The lettuce was brown by the way and the chicken seemed microwaved and totally flavorless.. I chose to do the salad bar. When I got up there, I was totally let down. The lettuce was brown (not like a brown piece, but all brown). It just looked dirty. The entire wait staff had bad attitudes and the staff spent their time outside smoking cigarettes. Would not recommend. The outside and the atmosphere was inviting. The menu looked promising. But once we got inside, fave our name and number in our party to the hostess, everything fell apart. It was unorganized, over crowded, and the service was poor. Took over twenty minutes just to get waters and tea. Took another 25 mins for our waitress to even come back to tell us she had to check on our dinner. We were done. 45 minutes wait, she only checked on us twice. Nope. Had it not been for the rolls that they threw at us, we would have left sooner. The food I did get (salad bar) was mediocre at best. Chopped romaine, chopped broccoli, sliced red onion, grated cheese and sliced boiled eggs. (Insert eye roll). I make better side salads at home. The only good part was the croutons, they were made from toasted day-old rolls, which were amazing. Overall, really upset with our waitress. And our dining experience.
