The bread was baked to perfection - crunchy but soft all at the same time. My friend got the salmon, cooked to medium and I got the Jamaican jerk chicken which was not very spicy and contained a lot of flavor. The mango chutney and green mojo combo was complex and paired well with the chicken. My friend devoured she salmon so one can only assume it was delicious! Once we had our beverages we ordered some food. I had the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were tender and chilled just right. The cocktail sauce had a wonderful bite from the horseradish. He had the Bison Sliders. The sliders had Swiss cheese, tomato, pickle and Sriracha aioli sauce. He had one and was full. We took the rest home. While we were enjoying our selections, my husband noticed Julia making a Smoked Manhattan for another patron. The process was so interesting he decided to order one. She was kind enough to let us film her explanation of the drink and the sparks and flame that came with presentation. As he was enjoying his beverage, JD came by to check on us and asked if we were celebrating anything that evening. I typically order my filet medium, but when it arrived, it was prepared medium-rare. I flagged my server, who was incredibly polite and took my plate back to the kitchen to have it fixed. Several minutes later she returned, but to my surprise, they had only cooked the outside while the center remained medium-rare. I was really disappointed and declined a third attempt, as recooking the same piece of meat completely defeats the purpose. What saved the review entirely was the exceptional service recovery. My initial server was incredibly kind, apologized, and offered a complimentary glass of Sauvignon Blanc. She had to take a break, and another server, Tyler, manned the section. After hearing about the situation, Tyler recommended a birthday dessert, which I happily accepted, and it was indeed tasty. I expected much more from a Michelin-recommended restaurant, but the two servers completely redeemed the evening by graciously comping the meal to make up for the dull kitchen experience. Exceptional hospitality!
