I felt compelled to delete my first review and write something different. Though my first order was good, I wasn't thrilled and my review reflected it. However, we wanted pizza last night and this place is close so we ordered again. I'm frankly shocked at how on point this restaurant is. A few moments after ordering a got a phone call from Lorenzo apologizing for whatever dissatisfaction I had from my first order. He'd read my review and assured me my order would be correct and gave me a discount. The pizzas came quickly (much quicker than promised) and everything was perfect. Pizza is pizza, it's not 5 star dining, but this place is good. It's refreshing when a local business cares enough to reach out to customers. I'm pleasantly surprised and will order again. read more

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and always have loved their pizza and calzone but last orders hasn't been consistent. The calzone sometimes is bigger sometimes very small. Today I got a small version and its a little bit over done. I will still eat it because I love their food. Just a heads up for management. read more

It would never have occurred to me to try the pizza in Pembroke Pines Florida, I am originally Brooklynite after all. I was on a visit to Pembroke Pines to visit my mother and she requested Pizza. Looked on Yelp and found this place. I asked if they do pizza by the slice and they said that they did but they didn't have any slices so they would make me a medium pie for the same price is two slices. That was good service. Took the pizza back to my mother's condo and tried a slice myself. To my surprise it was as good ( or as bad depending on your point of view) as the pizza available in and around my suburban, central New Jersey town. Not good by New York City standards but pretty much the same as most of the pizza I've had in central New Jersey. I suppose for Florida that is a rave. read more

Having just come to town from NYC, I was craving some new york style pizza. I read the reviews about how amazing Fantasy Pizza is and decided to check them out. First I was so happy to be able to order by the slice. I ordered two slices well done. The pizza had the perfect crunch and taste. I was taken back to NYC with every bite. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is friendly and fast. I raved about them to family and friends. I cant wait to bring them in for some quality pizza. My only wish is that I lived closer to them but I guarantee they are worth the drive. read more

I haven't ordered here for awhile but I loved their huge New York style pizzas. Me and my Husband initially tried it because of a coupon in the mailers that come in your mail. I am a sausage lover and their sausage was perfect size and delicious. One specific visit they made the wrong pizza in error but they quickly apologized and resolved it, which included letting us keep the wrong pizza as well. Great customer service here... I came here after wanting to try a new pizza joint in pines and it wasn't bad but it wasn't nothing out of the ordinary either. The place itself has a sports bar look and feel to it. Personally I enjoyed all of the sports stuff on the wall. Also, the restrooms were very clean when I went and everyone was wearing a mask as well. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and even told me about the current specials they had. I'm not sure how this place is as far social distancing is concerned since I went on a weekday and it was not that busy, but I'm sure they are keeping up with all of the current regulations. I had the garlic rolls and pizza and I will say they were good, but could have been better. The rolls were tasty, but they were crunchy (not everyone likes that) and it was almost as if they did not have enough dough in the middle. The garlic they used (or perhaps the oil) was a bit sweet but it was actually a very good flavor. The pizza was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. If I had to compare it to any other type of pizza it's very similar to a bar pizza. The crust could have been better as it was almost not existent and the pizza had a lot of air bubbles. However, the amount of cheese and sauce they use is a perfect blend and the taste was very good. In conclusion, this place is actually better than a 3 star but less than a 4. If it were possible I would give it a 3 in a half. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but if I'm ever in the area and want a good pizza to feed my hunger I would definitely go here and enjoy a good bar pizza with a adult beverage. read more

The only fantasy at this pizza place is the proprietor's delusion that they serve the "best" pizza in Pembroke Pines. My family and I tried this place in early July 2024 for the first time. I ordered the "Meat Lovers" pizza. The crust was dry and tasteless, like it was frozen before they reheated it. There is no hint of any freshness in the crust. The so-called "meat" ingredients, such as the pepperoni and sausage, were dry and too chewy. They appear to use the cheapest, lowest-quality ingredients that are legally allowed to be served to humans. In addition, there was hardly any tomato sauce in the pizza, making it taste very dry. Moreover, the cheese was very thick and stodgy, making it difficult to chew or swallow. Overall, the pizza here is dull and uninspired. Compounding or contributing to this sad state of affairs is that the pizza cooks appear to be uncaring regarding the quality of what they serve to customers. Sad! read more

Oh my goodness. I'm visiting from out of town so totally depended on Yelp for this pick and as usual, Yelp did not let me down. First, the staff. They're young, fun, funny and on their game. Chef brought the pizza out with a flourish. But on to the good stuff. This pizza is authentically DELICIOUS!! Crisp crust that's not too thin or thick and perfect amount of chewiness. We stumbled across this place after the Denny's next door had no greeters and seemingly no waitresses either. We wanted something quick and easy, with no leftovers as we were going back to the hospital afterwards. The girl in the front was so sweet and helpful. She honestly helped us feel a lot better after good food and great service. Her attitude just lifted our spirits. The pizza was amazing. We got a large cheese pizza well done and it was perfect for 3. The next time we came, we got 2 large cheese pizzas well done and it was the perfect size for 5 (the 6th person had a salad, which was huge and looked very tasty). Was curious about this place since I moved to Pines over a year ago. Saw online they had a 2 slice and drink lunch option for $4.98 so I went in today and had myself two slices and added onions to both of them the price for the lunch special was 5.66 in the resturant and after adding onions on both slices my price came out to a little over $7 which was disappointing. The Pizza itself deserved a 7.8/10 it was actually pretty great pizza! It was crispy and thinner then most places which I prefer. The cheese was tasty and melty the sauce was pretty good not to much flop on the slice or oil, very similar to a true NY style pizza. I'll definitely be coming back for to fulfill my pizza fantasies! read more

Definitely not NY pizza. :( It's probably the first time we've ever had a pizza we actively disliked. However, they called us to make it right. 1) They will provide plates, etc upon special request. 2) They offered us a credit if we'd try them again. We're very disappointed with the pizza we ordered for takeout. The crust on the pizza was way too thin and they barely added any toppings. The pepperoni pizza had about 2 pepperonis per slice and the half mushroom pizza was the same. The quality of the pizza has gone way down. The spaghetti and meatballs was really good, however the side salad I got was over priced and both of my salads were very skimpy. I eat salads as if they were going out of style, so I was very disappointed in what I received. There was almost no lettuce, it was mainly the core of the actual lettuce.
