Lovely place to sit outside and people watch in Grapevine. The peach Bellini and frozen sangria are wonderful and the glass size is large! The food is good and fresh with a good serving size. The only complaint is that they seem to always be understaffed. Even so, the staff that is there are very nice and they try their best to do what they can. Hope their owner/manager can get some more help to make this place even better. read more

The winery and Café had great customer service and was very attentive to our needs! I lost my glasses and they were kind enough to send them to me through the mail. Solid place to grab dinner. Lucky for us the weather was prime to dine outside. Staff were very friendly and sitting on the back patio was really nice. Now for the part you are looking for, the food. I had the chicken parmesan with spaghetti and my wife order the, wait for it, filet with spaghetti and vegetables. When I say she was in heaven it is an understatement just because this pairing is her two favorite foods. Solid place all the way around. Stop by and check it out. Great things... Food was great (Margarita pizza with cauliflower crust, small spaghetti) Service was quick The side room was absolutely beautiful Our wine was delicious Garlicky bread came out after drinks were ordered Okay things We put our name in and didn't get a call We went in to check and they were able to set us (If you are waiting way past the time they said they may have availability, go in and double check) Our server forgot to bring our cheese tray BUT In the end it was a good thing because our food was very filling. She seemed really nice but I think she might have had a lot of tables which prevented small talk. I'd def go back again! read more

We stopped by on a whim with a big group of 9 for lunch and we were seated in a side room and the air wasn't really working and Dallas is HOT AF right now so the group was getting a little agitated ... then some water started dripping down on my colleague to the left of me and we told the staff there was a leak! They moved us back inside the main restaurant which was thankfully cooler. When getting our food there was some mix up of plates and one guy actually ended up with two dishes since the first one brought out was wrong (he was quite thankful and ate both! He said the lasagna was the best) and I had a salad that was just kind of "meh" yet other dishes looked delicious. I'd like to come back in the evening and try the wine and see if it's a more relaxing experience. read more

I'm I. Between a 3 and 4. It was really fun to do a wine tasting with rather large pours and pretty affordable too. The outdoor area was jsut okay and I didn't really like a ton of the wines they had either but it was good enough for the price. I think I'll come back again with friends but try differnt wines. read more

2 stars for the cockroach that crawled across the floor. Let me start from the beginning. We stopped in after a day of shopping and had a great time. Outdoor seating looked awesome but we had a large party so we got a private room. Very nice. What this place does well: Food was delicious although the prices might be a bit too high for the quantity/quality. Bathrooms very clean. Decor was cute and chic country Waitstaff AMAZING. What this place needs: A changing table in the bathroom for babies. I had to change my baby on the floor of the bathroom...no thank you. The ability to split checks up. They made us figure out how many cards we wanted to pay with which just doesn't need to be that way anymore. It's 2022. Bug spray? I hate to report this, especially since o didn't get the chance to capture a photo, but as we were leaving a HUGE COCKROACH scurried across the floor. Probably won't be back next time I'm in town unless it's for apps or a drink. read more

This was mine & my fiancés first time here. It was recommended by my co workers. We waited nearly almost 10 minutes to be noticed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our table was right by the door.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It took another few minutes to get our appetizer. Not to mention, we did not feel welcomed. The food was great. The service was less than satisfactory. Short staff & busyness is not excuse to not provide good service. At least acknowledge your table & greet them. Don't ignore them. Don't tell your guests " you didn't notice ". As a we result, we will no longer be giving you are business. read more

Me and a few friends came in the past week to the grapevine location and the staff was so welcoming. They greeted and sat us right away and answered any question we had. If you stop by you have to try their personal flat bread pizzas. So yummy!!! read more

Enjoyed the happy hour for half price flat bread. Ordered the half serving of pasta that comes with bread and salad and it was more than enough. Would recommend as a good italian place if in the Grapvine area. Lasagna, Chicken Alfredo and Marg Flatbread were all very good! read more

Since we were going to Grapevine to enjoy the Christmas season, we decided to make it a special night and eat at Farina's. I made reservations for 6:30. When we checked in at 6:15 and we were told they were running behind on reservations and would have a wait. I asked for a estimated time and was told that they were unsure. We were told that we would get a call/text when our table was ready. We waited 50 minutes without a call. It was really cold so I went in and asked for a status. I was told there were still 6 parties in front of us and they would call/text as soon as a table opened. After waiting another hour (in very cold weather) without hearing anything, we just drove to another restaurant near our home and ate there. We never received a call. I'm hesitant to make reservations there now since it seems they won't be honored. read more

This was our first time at this restaurant. We arrived at 5:30 with reservations. It took an excessive amount of time for the server to take our order. There were five in our party. Three received their meal and it was luke warm. My friend and I didn't receive our order and the server said our order would be out in about 3 minutes. After waiting 15 to 20 minutes I asked to see a manager. She came over and instead of apologizing she said they were busy and we would get our food soon. My friend and I finally received our food at 6:50 pm. The others in our party were finished with their meal at least 30 minutes before we finally received our order. Again food was like warm. It appears to me that the manager lacked the skill sets to resolve an issue with a dissatisfied customer. The response " We're busy" did not address the problem. After all of this we had to wait another 10 minutes to get our check. Not a good experience!!! I would rate this restaurant a zero. read more

Worst service I've had in a long time. There were 3 servers, restaurant was almost empty and yet we were an afterthought the entire time. Dropping things off without asking if we need anything else or even making eye contact. Leaving literally 10 empty plates scattered on the table. Lots of eye rolls for simple, polite requests. I don't know if it's bad management or what, but the kid working the door was the only polite person in the place. I'll honestly never go back. Just a tourist trap cafe. Too many other options. Food was great except the white fish. read more

Went to this cute little gem out in downtown Grapevine midweek spur of the moment and service was EXCELLENT!! Cheese board was AMAZING! Price was great and we were there when it was still happy hour (ends at 6:30pm). All their wines and cocktails are $6 except a few marked with an *. The drinks were delicious! We had one of their red wines, white wines (both recommended by our server) and we had the swirl! Our server was the real MVP this evening - above and beyond! Stephanie is a sweetheart. I highly recommend Farina's in Grapevine. We ate and had a baby shower there this past weekend (5-5-24). Food was very good and service was too. We actually met the owner and an awesome waitress. They helped us immensely after the shower was over when our auto locked in error!!!! read more

Leaving this review because I was so disappointed on how I was treated upon arriving for our Christmas dinner & gift exchange with friends. I had made reservations months in advance because I knew they would be busy for Christmas. We wanted to have a quiet place in back to do white elephant exchanged. Made Reservation, call day of to make sure we were good to go, the girl said Yes suggested she would get us a table to put our gifts on, made me so happy and excited. Well got there and they changed everything and they said they called...Really!! 30 mins before and while we were trying to find parking. We waited, got seated after 8p in front of door, man singing and noisy as can be. We made it work and had fun! I come here all the time so talk to one of the waitress who talk to manager and yes she made it right on our bill. Thank you!! But Please don't let something like this happen again. Talk to your staff before hand. If we have reservations don't disrupt because of larger groups or call back within days or week before so if needed make other plans this can be done. Just not fair you mess up a party or 6-8 for much large group! Give more notice next time. Merry Christmas! read more

It's hard to find a restaurant while enjoying the lights and Christmas festivities on Main Street in Grapevine. Everything was packed, but we came across Farina's, and while there was a long wait for inside, there was a table that opened up outside. The wine was good, the service was attentive, and the food was tasty. Overall we were very happy. Please try the spinach artichoke dip, it's a little different but really delicious. read more

My last review here was 3 sentences and was back in 2012 and I feel it deserves more than that, so I've decided to write a public and open letter to the my favorite restaurant on Main St. Dear Farina's, If you were a human being, I'd marry you and whisper sweet nothings into your ear all night. You make such delicious food in such an adorable location. I really enjoy dining among the antiques and chunky furniture. It reminds me of a house I used to visit every summer when I was a child, filled with wine, warm woods and rod iron details. Your bar seats are so comfortable and inviting, I could sit there for days if you'd let me, though I must warn you... I'm a wine snob and can be picky about my red wines. But don't worry, you have an excellent wine (both Texas and Cali) selection and I just love your Farina's Red Blend. It's a perfect, affordable table wine that I crave regularly. Now don't be mad when I say this, but your food is not true Italian food. This is Americanized Italian food as it should be, we are in America after all. I adore it all the same (and I'm super picky about Italian food), but for some reason you have made a delicious hybrid of Italian-American that I can tolerate, nay, enjoy. Any place that decides to put spaghetti on a pizza is totally fine by me. That spaghetti pizza has gotten me through hangovers, through my breakups and through lunch on a Tuesday. It's a wonderful invention I wish I thought of myself. I also love that you have a patio, and one that you've managed to turn into a secluded oasis among the hustle and bustle of Main St., complete with roaring fireplace, additional outdoor bar and a covered roof to protect me from the elements. Please never change, and please stay around forever. I would die without you. read more

I came in for something light. I ordered the Farinas signature Italian salad and added shrimp with it. Artichokes, olives (a variety of olives) cheese, pepperoni, pepperoncini ,house made dressing... WARM fresh bread - and the shrimp? Spiced perfectly. Done perfectly - "OMG" kinna good. My server - Megan- was fun and so welcoming. I had the greatest evening here recently. After all these years, I hadn't ever been to Farina's. Wtf? Insanity. It feels very sort of European inside. Dimly lit, exposed brick walls, dark furniture and candlelight, a little tiny bar. This place is bigger than it seems, they have a banquet room and an enormous back patio. It can be very romantic but it's also a pretty lively place, lots of people around the bar and sitting on the front patio as well. I ordered a gluten free pizza with jalapeños, pepperoni, and garlic. One of the best gluten feee crusts I've had. And they don't skimp on toppings. I also enjoyed the Italian salad, which had tons of olives and artichoke and cheese and a creamy dressing. So good! Pretty great wine list with some local options, which is always fun. Bottles are pretty much $30 and up, gets pretty pricey. Our waitress was so sweet and took my gluten-freeness seriously without hesitation, so that's cool! My sister had a piece of chocolate chip pie for dessert, which looked amazing. We met here for our GNO to enjoy some fellowship. We opted to sit outside by the fireplace and it was just perfect. The menu was was simple, not overwhelming and the prices were extremely reasonable. I ordered the pepperoni and mushroom pizza, but in my opinion it could've been cooked about 5-7 minutes more and it would've been just perfect. We had a party of 5 so the tip was automatically included, but I had to leave a little extra because our waitress, Eli was super kind and friendly. read more

Service and ambiance is great but my food at least, was disappointing. I got the muffuletta and it was 80% bread. Again, wait staff is super sweet and environment is great. But would not recommend the muffuletta. Pasta was okay as well and the free starter bread was smashed, and kinda wet and seemed like it came from the freezer. read more

Our restaurant was founded in 2007 by Gary Farina, who was born into a family of restauranteurs. In 2007, Gary decided to continue the family tradition and opened our doors to share family- loved and perfected recipes with our community in Grapevine. Since then, we have gladly served the Grapevine community, and effort to ensure everyone feels welcome when they enter our doors.

The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.

From the very start of planning, the entire staff made everything seamless and went above and beyond to create a truly special night. Yenisse, the event coordinator, was wonderful. She worked with me on the menu, wine list, floor plan, and every little detail. She was patient, helpful, and genuinely excited about making the evening memorable. The rest of the team- Edgar, Gianna, Gracie, Vivianna, and Julia (the general manager) were just as amazing. Their kindness, attentiveness, and enthusiasm impressed me every step of the way. On the night of the party, the owner even stopped by to say hello, which made it feel even more personal and welcoming. I was very pleased with the Pinot Grigio - just the right body and flavor - a nice pairing with the fish and the day in general. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely awful; I couldn't even finish my meal. Walking through the back to go outside, I was appalled to see open containers of marinara sauce with no lids and cooks handling food without gloves. However, the worst part was the service. Our waitress, who apparently is one of the owners, reeked of cigarettes and appeared to be intoxicated. It's clear that this establishment lacks basic hygiene standards and professionalism. Which I highly recommend doing. That's not an easy dish to do, but they executed it perfectly. Nice thick noodles similar to the Pici and Bigoli , you see in Tuscany. They also had a pretty sizable prime New York strip for under $70 which is pretty impressive. Most restaurants would've charged 85 or more for that steak. It was cooked perfectly. Char medium rare. Fish is such a dicey proposition in even some of the best of restaurants as it is so often overcooked. This could not have been cooked more perfectly by Eric Ripert! Super moist, flaky flesh with flavorful blackened spices and sear. The very generous portion of meatloaf is smothered in a rich sauce and tender mushrooms. The vegetables here are clearly shown some love. The fresh medley is cooked just right with tasty seasonings. The rice is attractively and tastily garnished and a great compliment to both these dishes. Just an all around delightful luncheon experience in what is such an enjoyable ambiance and setting.

BUT I did not get a chance this time as the pizza was put down in front of us and my kids (and husband!!!) dove right in (see pic for evidence!). I'm surprised I managed to get a slice for myself ! lol. Laughter aside - the service is stellar and this pizza place is the real deal and we will definitely be visiting again to try some of the other pizza flavors. We were tempted by the pasta too - so we will definitely be trying that too next time!
