[[HIGHLIGHT]]Farina's Winery is charming, with friendly staff, a relaxed vibe, no pretense.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The wines are solid, but full disclosure: I've always leaned California. That said, the wine is definitely approachable, worth sipping slowly, and the setting makes it easy to linger.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're in Grapevine and want a winery that's not stuffy, Farina's hits the mark.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Just don't expect Napa-level fireworks -- this is Texas wine doing its own thing.

Visited this place with some friends while visiting grapevine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place seemed a very cute cozy Italian restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Upon arrival sadly the hostess did not seem very friendly or wanting to be there but maybe because the restaurant was closing in 30 minutes however still customer service is still very important. She took us to our table while slamming the menus and utensils on the table. However our waitress was kind so she made up for the hostess rude behavior. I ordered a basil pasta with chicken which was truly amazing. Overall great restaurant with great food but the hostess might need to use more training in providing great customer service.

Another great restaurant on Grapevine's historic Main Street! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Large dining area, Bar adjacent. A bit dark inside. Small outdoor dining area out front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean and well maintained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was very good! Food was excellently prepared... hot and delicious. Excellent garlic bread. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The large front windows allow great view of Main Street as well as people watching![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a definite must try if you haven't! We will definitely return!

I had tried to come to Farina's in the past but at the time they were busy and even though I was seated with my party I was not served in a timely manner and ended up going somewhere else. I tried again and my experience was completely different. The restaurant is on main street with a plethora of other wineries and restaurants. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Farina's is cute and feels very authentic, and they have a large selection of wines and a decent amount of food options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came to eat before an event and I was seated immediately and the staff gave me a great wine recommendation. The wine was smooth, robust and fruity. It had all the best attributes of a red wine. I ordered the Margherita flatbread pizza. It was amazing! Beautiful tomatoes with loads of delicious basil and the crust was cooked perfectly, it was thin, crispy and the cheese was gooey. If I had more time I would have had another glass of wine. Next time I I'm in Grapevine I will definitely come back.

Stopped by Farina's after landing at DFW on return home. Happy hour deals are only on select drinks but no food. I thought they used to at least offer discounts on pizzas? The half-order option for pasta dishes is nice since it is more than enough for one person / meal. However, with hindsight I would have paid the minimal $5 more to get a full order to take some home. Not only was the bar service by Corinne perfect as she is very personable without coming across as "fake", but her recommendation on the basil pesto pasta was spot on! Delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great, casual atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of the better options on Main St in Grapevine.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute winery / restaurant in Old Grapevine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good service with reasonable prices. Flatbread / pizza was tasty, but could have been crispier (I asked for well done). Farina salad was very good.

We came to Farina's Winery & Cafe for a quick snack and a cool down. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place does have an outdoor patio area with plenty of space however; it was too hot the day we went so we enjoyed the indoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Again plenty of room indoors and parking is along the street or parking area[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had beverages and Baked Artichoke Heart with Garlic bread. All was delicious. Enjoy! :)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was old town Grapevine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service: we sat at the bar. Service was lackluster. Not very attentive. Staff seems to just be going through the motions. Food: we only had wine. I had a Chianti. It was hot. Not room temperature but literally hot. Several degrees above room temp. What really bothered me was the ice machine and water pitcher right next to a cleaning faucet and cleaning bottle. Please don't tell me the water in the pitcher comes from this sink?!?!?

    Cheers!

We stop in here occasionally for a drink while traipsing along Main Street. They have a good selection of both imported and domestic wines, as well as a solid food menu. The service here has always been friendly and welcoming. The one time we got a pizza (flatbread) here, we loved it. It was spilling over with toppings and tasted great. For Happy Hour, their specials are considered some of the best in town.

The Christmas decorations were cute and it felt festive inside! We had a group of four and expected a wait since we didn't make a reservation, so we weren't surprised when the host said it would be about an hour and half. It ended up being about a 40 minute wait! Where we were sat it was super loud because a band was playing so it was really hard to hear anyone talk. My friend was very unhappy with her ravioli because she ordered the half portion for $15 and didn't expect it to only be three raviolis, which left her very hungry. Other than that, the food was good and the service was nice.

Service is the best I've found in Grapevine. Food is outstanding. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere is perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice soft window light.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.

I decided to leave my phone at home since this was a dinner date with my husband. Well they have NO physical menus according to our server. To me that is not a good thing. However, I was provided with an IPad to scroll the menu. Water was brought to table and we each ordered a drink. I ordered the cucumber smash. The drink was delicious but took quite some time to be delivered. My husband got soda and lime and his came out quickly. Service at this point is a bit slow. The place is a bit loud and plays club music -this IS NOT a club. It is finer dining and you have to listen to the same beat over and over and over -not a fan! We were dining inside. I do believe the roof top is different. We ordered the warm goat cheese. It was served in a skillet and very warm. However the toast was soft and not crunchy or firm at all and cold. It had been toasted and had burn marks and was beautiful but then soaked in butter to soften and then very cold. Would not order again. My husband had Beef Carpaccio-he loved it-not my thing. For dinner we shared Lemon Butter Salmon & Shrimp $40 Blackened salmon and shrimp drizzled with a rich lemon butter sauce, served over fragrant saffron rice and grilled broccolini And we both did not like it at all. The saffron rice honestly made me gag and did not like the flavor. The salmon was dry and there wasn't even a hint of any lemon. The shrimp was good and broccolini was delicious. So for $100 we left hungry and had mediocre service. We will go back for roof top seating but never again indoors

Once again, this was a wonderful Yelp event. Kendall and Postino's, thank you very much…read more We chose to visit around the time of opening. After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

Initially I came to take advantage of a deal, however, do know that the $25 board and wine combo is only available Mondays and Tuesdays after 8 PM, and we were there around 4:30. However, despite that overlook on my part, the food definitely did not disappoint! We had an amazing server. She was easily available , quick, and accommodating. My friend had some dietary restrictions and she was quick to ask about them, and make needed modifications without any issue. Extremely kind, and fun to be around, she had some great suggestions for items on the menu. The environment was definitely more relaxed, however, the pace was definitely picking up when we left. As I mentioned we were there right before people seem to be getting out of work, and it seemed like a lot of people are making their way and to enjoy an evening meal or happy hour. We easily got a spot in front, however, if there happens not to be any available, there's lots of parking behind Lush on the opposite side of the road. I'm hoping to go back and try one of the boards, I've had one prior at different locations, but I'm sure it would be just as great here!
