This place is a hidden gem! I've waited in the quintessential breakfast lines all over the city for meh food time and time again, but this place stands out and we didn't even wait in a line at 9am on Sunday morning. They're dog welcoming (provided my large dog a little blanket to sit/lay on under our table, and gave her a water bowl and brought her breakfast for free! Dog is used to going out with us and she believed she was in dog heaven with this kind of attention and treatment.) This place is small and the seating is mostly outside in a nicely appointed, clean and umbrella'd parklett Now the food. Wow. I had the beet hummus wrap which was phenomenal. Dining partner opted for the breakfast burrito which is reported to be fresh and light. We both had lattes which were also delicious. Farm to table is such a buzzword to toss into the culinary scene, but this establishment really embraces the concept. Its not cheap but paying for local, fresh quality. The owner seemed overwhelmed and isn't great when it comes to customer service. I took my niece just 15 years old visiting from out of town. She said this lady is not nice. Her answers were short and she was rude. The food of course was still delicious. I will not recommend or come back. Which is a shame because I'm going to miss the toast! read more

Fresh food; funny people! Pleasant. Mostly takeout but a few tables outside! We had the vegetarian quiche and the Avocado Toast. Both came with a small fresh side salad of greens. This is a small walk up coffee, tea and breakfast stop just outside of the tenderloin. Small tables line the street area just outside. Tables are reserved for those ordering sit down. Lots of locals call this their place for their coffee fix! Friend staff and an awesome locally sourced and fresh ingredients. I can remember what is was called but it was spectacular and large enough for two people to share. If you're a coffee drinker, they have a wide variety of different types of coffees and specialty coffee's. I downgraded it one star because the chairs were uncomfortable but that's more my problem. Great staff, tasty brunch and you've got to try their Sparkling Blue Berry Lavender Lemonade. Out of this world! Next time we are in the neighborhood, we will be back to try some of their other menu items. read more

Had not been back in Years pre pandemic. The neighborhood has definitely gone a little down but the coffee and food was great we ordered a breakfast burrito with house made sausage and chili, a salmon bagel with house made creme cheese with add of Tomatoes. The daily toast as well, with two coffees and one latte. Prices not listed but that makes sense they source local . Overall great and in line with most pricing in SF. Fair warning, when you enter the very small restaurant you are sort of greeted by the cook/waiter, she is salty and direct, but attentive. At first I was annoyed, but after we sat inside, most seating on the sidewalk, we had a good meal. Food and drinks came out fast. All the complaints here about no pricing on the menu has been resolved. We saw pricing. Not cheap, each dish for our party was well over 20.00 for each breakfast savory item. The food is good, they know how to make eggs, which is a big deal for me. Not too large or too small of portions, great greens with protein. I got the avocado toast with smoked salmon, my son had the French toast, and my mother got a croissant sandwich, all well done. If you are looking for amazing decor, friendly sweet service, don't come here. Oh and the comments about the area, it's completely safe, and urban. Server/owner was incredibly unfriendly, rude, and unaccommodating with each interaction. Do you even want customers? Sure didn't feel like it. We waited 20+ minutes for a latte. Not because it was busy, but because she was chatting with someone in front of us. No apology...just slammed it on the table at her convenience. No eye contact or thanking us for our business as we left. How does one keep doors open with such rude behavior? We are kind customers and this behavior was disrespectful and undeserving of our money and time. The chef deserves 5 stars. She was friendly, grateful, respectful. If you want friendly service and to feel like your business is appreciated, go elsewhere. Food is pricey and not everything has a price listed. I'm having a hard time understanding how the doors stay open here since there are several reviews mentioning the rude behavior. Bad day? Met a friend here on a Sunday morning around 10:30am. It's such a tiny place, but waited a bit and were able to get a table outside. I got the Daily Toast (~$8), and it was beautifully presented with lots and lots of fruit. I loved the mascarpone spread, definitely decadent. It was a pretty big size which I liked, but definitely on the sweeter side from the fruit. My friend got the Egg on a Croissant (~$8) because she was told it was one of the most popular items. She said that even though it doesn't look filling it actually is. She also said the croissant was nice and flaky and the sauce went well on it! I got a Tumeric latte (~$5), which I felt was way too foamy and watered down. My friend got the Matcha Chai latte (~5), which I tried and liked it way better than mine! Yelp 100 Challenge: 63/100 Having been eating very heavily meals during my weekend in SF, I needed some cleanse in my system. My friend came across Farm : Table and decided that we wanted to give this place a try since it looked like a healthier option. Keep in mind that this place only has a communal table inside their store that can seat ~6-8 people depending on how close you'd like to get with strangers, and approx. 4-5 more 2-person table outside along the building. Other than that, good luck, and hope that you can balance eating your meal on an interesting piece of artwork by the curb! I opted for the daily toast, which had lots of different fruits on a thick piece of toast spread with some custard cream. IT WAS AMAZING! We thought this was more of a sit-down brunch place so were kind of disappointed to find it to be so small with not much seating and meant to be for quick-bites. However, don't be deterred by the lack of seating or feel you have to eat quickly. The service is very friendly and the food is really good. The Daily Toast is *chef kisses fingers* with quality brioche, mascarpone spread, lots of fruit (wide variety), and nuts. Yeah, I could maybe make it at home, but there was lots of fruit and honestly well-worth $8. Of course, it's very Instagrammable. My friend liked her egg on croissant. My Frank the Pug Honey Latte was warm and sweet, but not overly so. I'd be back but definitely plan to get your food to-go. I ordered: - matcha chai tea latte (perfect for a cloudy day with just the right amount of spice that came with the chai) - egg on croissant (seems ordinary but it was good - it's really not hard to screw up on breakfast food. there's egg, cheese, meat, and lettuce inside. the croissant comes warm, so at least you know it's made fresh to order) My friend ordered the daily toast - definitely IG worthy with its fruit spread and mascarpone cream. Overall: I'm glad my friend and I went on a weekday, otherwise we might have had to wait in line like other Yelpers mentioned. There is literally just one table inside and a sort of a counter set up outside, which really isn't ideal if it's anything but sunny outside. I really wanted to like this place but it just ... wasn't quite what I was looking for. (1) it's so small. like it can probably seat 5 people inside and then 4 people outside (I don't actually know the real numbers but that's how small it is). Be OK with taking your food to go or eat while standing or risking SF's chilly weather. (2) small menu; good on their part, but really limiting for consumers. I didn't have vegan-friendly options, so I went with their cereal. Granted the cereal had marmalade and tons of fruit in it, and was pretty good too, but a part of me was like ... did I actually just pay $15~ for a bowl of cereal and a latte? (3) don't get the merpeople matcha. Idk what was in it but I'm not a fan. It's this blue/teal color - super pretty for the gram, not so pretty on your teeth + it didn't taste great. I guess I was expecting matcha latte... and I played myself lol. Go with the regular coffee here. Why did I pay $15 for a piece of toast with whipped cream and fruit ? LOL never again. Looks pretty for Instagram pics but that's about it. The bread was soggy in the middle and hard as a rock on the edges making it difficult to cut let alone pick it up and take a bite out of since it's topped heavy. The fruit to bread ratio is crazy. And the whipped cream they used between the fruit and bread was soo much I scraped most of it off. The toast and a small latte was about $20 if I remember correctly. This is one of the most cutest, simple and small cafes I have discovered in the Bay Area, with a such nice small outdoor patio. I was surrounded by the amazing city view in the morning time. We even could up look at some of those unique buildings above our heads too. It gave out a nice relaxing or chilling vibe with some caffeine and good food. I tried out their famous daily toast and I was very impressed by the aftertaste of it. It wasn't loaded with a lot of sugar and it didn't taste too overwhelming inside my mouth either. It was created nicely done and well balanced too! I especially love how it was decorated by various fruit and it was colorful to me! The cream as the base on the bread tasted very light which I truly appreciate and enjoy that as well. The bread texture on the bottom was soft so it was easy to chew or to cut it with utensils. Overall, this became my new favorite and would come back for more! I also ordered iced mocha along with this dish, although I was a little disappointed by this drink because I already have my own expectations for my usual iced mocha. It didn't give out a strong feeling of that nice soft rich creamy flavor or some hint of milky chocolate flavor either. It was a little bland or too bittersweet. This place has so many options for you, from salads, to veggie sandwiches, to yogurt bowls...farm:table is very accommodating. Yes, there is not a lot of seating indoors (just one giant communal square table) and outdoors isn't that much better...but the high-quality fresh breakfast is what you're coming for. The shop is literally like the smallest Harry Potter-closet-esque size I've ever been to eat breakfast, but if you order the right item it'll be totally worth it. The croissant sandwich is the best thing I think...since they have a veggie option without meat but added avocado! YAS. Their turmeric latte is delicious, and rare selections like charcoal and lavender totally piqued my interest. The service here is small...meaning, there's like literally the cashier dude who also runs out the food, and only one barista. However, they hustle and make it work. I'm sure they bring in a lot of revenue! I won't go out of my way to come back, especially since I tend to carry a lot of stuff with me...like my yoga mat, bag, tote bag...and that just creates so much chaos in this small space. I gave the space a once-over & quickly decided on the Toast of the Day & the Lavender Latte w/Almond Milk. I had previously asked about the contents of another drink when the cashier guy gave me my total. I noticed it was low and asked had he added my drink. He basically argued that I had requested another drink...DUDE FIX THE TICKET & move on so I can procure my order! Which took excessively long considering we were 2 of 4 total customers at the time of ordering. Major turn off that a minor miscommunication would lead to a 2 star review & an I'll NEVER RETURN experience. I came here because of the awesome reviews on Yelp and was candidly a bit disappointed. The place doesn't seem to have the same pre-covid glory because of the smaller seating area and smaller staff. There was only one person serving, cooking, and taking orders the entire time we were there! That's just so much work. However, they were a true champ and managed to get us seated and served. We got their famous toast and avocado toast. The food was solid, a bit on the small side for portions, but nothing to complain about for sure. The service was a bit slow, but I don't think that is any fault of the establishment running a smaller staff in covid. I'm excited to come back to this place after covid to see how the inside and full service would look. There's minimal seating inside--Probably 8 people max. Outside seats about 15 more people. The prices are pretty cheap and service is pretty quick. Egg on Croissant: Egg, cheese, ham, and lettuce inside a fluffy crossaint with mayo. To be honest, it's just average and kind of bland. Only the ham gives the sandwich taste. I was pretty disappointed. Matcha Chai Latte: Pretty good chai with only a little bit of matcha-- you honestly can't taste the matcha at all. It's not too sweet and I like the mellow flavors.
