This is a great little neighborhood place with freshly prepared food and a particularly solid burger. Cocktails are on point, too. Decidedly family oriented -- if you aren't here with a stroller, do you even exist? -- and as a result quite raucous, but considering the scene and neighborhood, it all works out pretty well. Great service, but uncomfortable seats (benches) outside. Seats were comfortable inside but at night-time the place was extremely loud. It was hard to talk at our table when we were inside. I went twice and the food quality was fine but was just okay taste wise. Tried the Farmand's Bowl and Steak Frites. The bowl was solid but not enough meat and vegetables, too much rice. For both the bowl and the steak frites, the flavor was good but it was a bit overcooked (ordered medium rare, came out around medium well). Drinks were a bit weak in strength, but decent in flavor. It was definitely fine in quality, nothing worrying, but the prices were a bit steep for what you get. Overall, I'm curious to see how this place fairs in the upcoming months, hopefully they improve some issues bc their service and location is great! read more

I was really excited about this place and left really disappointed. The burgers at Five Guys are better. The steak with peppercorn sauce tasted very "off". The drinks were overly sweetened and very weak. For a concept with an alleged "executive chef" curated menu, this place is not even close to worth what they're charging. Highly recommend. Very good food and was surprised at how much space there is for seating. Went in with my family and young son, and we were able to both eat and he was able to play in the large play area outside. The shaded trees and plants in the area helped keep us cool as well even when outside. For anyone with a family or young kids I would highly highly recommend. So I have got to say, this place is a much needed addition to our restaurant options in the area. Too often we struggle with where to go eat out and Farmand's has hands down made it to the top of our list. We have tried almost half the dishes at this point and have not been disappointed. The wings are amazing, and you can't go wrong with the streak wrap! Their cheese burger is perfect with gooey melted cheese and a side of their fries! The staff have been nothing but helpful, courteous and very well trained. If anyone had been to the location when it was the burger joint before, you will have a hard time believing it even looked that bad. They have totally transformed the inside (and the patio) into a verve beautiful restaurant, welcoming and comfortable. We look forward to coming here for years to come!!! read more

Food was delicious! The Texas Dusted wings were so good, and the Harvest Greens bowl was just as great. Sitting out by the fenced-in playground couldn't have been smoother ...there was a beautiful sunset and breeze, and the toddlers played safely while we enjoyed our meal. While everything we ordered was excellent, the service was a bit all over the place. It seemed like much of the staff was new and still in training. There was some confusion ...from delivering the wrong meals and drinks to forgetting silverware and small plates when we were seated. We found ourselves having to ask for several basics. That said, we completely understand how important proper training is, especially for a new restaurant, and we're confident things will smooth out with time. The one piece of feedback we'd share is about the happy hour pricing -- it felt just like regular menu pricing. We even found ourselves asking, "Wait, is this the happy hour price?" Trendy looking spot that provides both a lively atmosphere while also being very family friendly. The cocktails we ordered were on point. Wifey raved about their lavender bramble and I loved their old fashioned. The menu is really diverse so there was something for everyone's preferences in our group. We've been patiently awaiting the opening of this restaurant in our neighborhood. Now we know why it took so long. The place has been completely transformed. The inside is bright and inviting while the outside has a little for everyone. From adult hangouts, to game night, to family dinners, or even date night, they have created little areas to hang out outside. All that wouldn't matter if the food was not amazing and I'm glad to report that our first visit not only didn't disappoint but really impressed us.
