Get the cinnamon roll. It was fresh, moist and every bit of it was cinnamon and sugar heaven. I shared it with 3 people. It was great. I also had over easy eggs, hash browns and bacon. The service was quick, fast and checked up on us several times. We will definitely be back but next time I want to sit in a big red booth.

Farmer Boy is a Santa Barbara staple, their food is always reliably good and the staff is so friendly. My partner and I have been coming here weekly for years because the staff is attentive and friendly, and we know our food will always be delicious. The prices are the best in town for the quality of ingredients and portion sizes. The restaurant itself can get quite busy on the weekends, but somehow the wait time is never very long. This diner has not lost its charm in all the years it's been open, no matter how updated everything is! Clean place, as well, tables are always bussed spotlessly and booths are always clean. It's a must-visit for tourists and locals should add Farmer Boy into their rotation. We love Farmer Boy!

We arrived and sat in a booth, excited to look at the menu. It was my first time visiting Farmer Boy. My friend and I ordered omelettes with hash browns and it came with a a pancake too! My hash browns were cooked nice and toasty (my favorite). Everything was delicious, service was great, we stayed talking awhile after and no one was rushing us to leave. It's a good spot to enjoy a meal.

It was my first time here with friends on our way to camp at Morro Bay. We were seated right away and ordered what we wanted. The food came within 10-15 mins which was good considering it was packed. The food was average, but the service was good! I wouldn't mind coming here again if it happens to be on the way.

If you're looking for amazing food with a diner feel, Farmer Boy is for you! We came on a Sunday morning and we were able to be seated within 15 minutes! The service here is amazing as the staff were quick, kind, and friendly! We ordered the Pozole Verde with grilled chicken which was so delicious and flavorful along with the Farmer Boy Classic! The bacon was cooked to perfection and the home fries were absolutely the best! Highly recommend both items, especially the pozole. Farmer Boy has definitely reached the top of my list for best breakfast & brunch spots in SB! Can't wait to come back!

My friends and I sat outside as the weather was beautiful over the weekend. Staff was friendly and when we got there, it was already busy. You can tell it's popular as the line in the entry was pretty long. The food was so fresh! I had a sweet hibiscus tea with an egg, bacon & avocado wrap. Everything was tasty and they also have their own hot sauce which was a nice touch.

You can get new tires next door, but while you're waiting, you can catch breakfast or lunch. Outdoors, there's a lot of seating. Wooden tables and wicker chairs. Awnings and large umbrella coverings. You pay first, and then they seat you. There's some seating indoors, but it's limited, compared to outdoors. I ordered a latte ($5.50) and avocado toast ($16). They add a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card. There is a window for to-go orders, but if you're dining in, you place your order with the gal at the podium. I have to say, although there were two staff working on drinks, my latte took a while. Luckily, it came before the food. There was a staff member waiting at the counter and delivering just drinks. Once I got my latte, it tasted good. Strong. I felt the caffeine. The avocado toast was good, too. It was served in a shallow metal dish. Thick, high quality, Artisan bread. I enjoyed the toasted pumpkin seeds. I would definitely order it again, but open to ordering something else on the menu next time. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and efficient. There was another gentleman standing in the back, immediately clearing tables. It's better if you come earlier on the weekends. There was a line of people when I was leaving. There's plenty of free street parking. I parked across the street.

Everything is high quality and fresh for reasonable prices. Charming, cozy decor with Danish accents. Service is also excellent and warm. Quiche with Hollandaise Sauce - Light, buttery flaky crust, light, fluffy eggs. Absolutely delightful, leeks provided good texture. Came with a strip of bacon. Was so amazing hardly ate the sauce. Don't think you can sub salad for fries but no worries, as the breakfast potatoes were amazing. Many places offer breakfast potatoes but something seemingly simple is actually hard to make well. My friend's Bratwurst Sausage with Eggs, her favorite, was hearty and filling. A lot of indoor seating but we enjoyed our table outside, watching pedestrians on State St. and enjoying the beautiful scenery and architecture. We expected to wait to be seated but surprisingly it wasn't that busy. Order at counter and the food is brought to your table. As we waited, employee kindly gave us two free pastry samples, both delicious. All the baked goods I got to go I want again. Their scones are fabulous-slightly crunchy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Their tea service which comes with champagne is pricey, I believe $75 per person. But interior is a perfect colorful and relaxed setting for tea. My tastebuds dream of coming back. Will be thrilled when I next indulge on their pastries and quiche.

SCORE 0 HEALTH HAZARD 10…read more This is our third time we've had issues with the staff. Today is our last time going here. There was only one person in line and 4 staff members behind the counter standing around talking to each other. Nobody greeted us or asked for our bakery order. When I said excuse me to a dirty blond girl she replied "WHAT!" and continued to joke with a co worker. When the cashier finished with their customer they walked away and even though they saw we were waiting to be helped. I looked around and saw nobody helping seated customers or us at the bakery counter. Finally, the dirty blonde ask what we need and my response was "WHAT" ?! At this point we should have left and gone to Lilac Patisserie however we proceeded to give her our order. I told another customer behind us that rudeness seems to be the norm, and she agreed. I paid for our bakery items and asked an older woman scrolling on her phone if we could have a bag for all of our boxed treats. She grabbed a handful of bags and threw them at me from across the counter. We were appalled and left. We found a place to sit on State street to eat our treats and my daughter said she didn't want her Meringue because the dirty blonde girl used the back of her ungloved hand to repeatedly wipe her nose. We threw all $50 worth of baked goods in the trash. Yes, I should have gone back and complained I'm had everything refunded but it was Mother's Day and we didn't want anything more to do with this establishment. It was also an epiphany that they don't treat everyone this way. It could be you next time. Please go somewhere else. We will never go to anywhere but Lilac Patisserie which is to the left as you exit Andersons, past the stop light. You will definitely get your money's worth and the staff is friendly, professional, and greet you immediately as you reach the counter.

It's 15 for a drink but 54 dollars for a pitcher. We ended up getting the Agua Chile Margarita pitcher. It was on the spicy side which we enjoyed. Mocktails were enjoyed by the kids. Service was so/so. We weren't told about items they'd run out of UNTIL we'd ordered them. Water refills were slow, but we were pressed to order our entrees immediately with the starters, which was bothersome.
