We tried it again today and we ordered the same thing and asked for all burgers to be well done. I always hear good things about this place, finally tried it one late night when I didnt feel like cooking, was too exhausted from work. I ordered a BLT which which shows that it's on regular white bread. I Asked Jesus the drive thru member that day if I can switch it to a different bread and he said it was on ciabatta bread...(scratching head*) the advertised picture doesn't look like ciabatta, but ok! He also looked like he hated his job working the closing shift. Of course, when I got home it was a BLT on reg white toast which looked super dinky, literally bacon, lettuce, and tomato. There was no mayo or cheese...I get it, it's a BLT but had I known I would've asked for it. The service was descent the food was fair. I didn't come expecting a whole lot but I appreciated the staff recognizing my need for a veggie omelette and recommending a choice. My daughter told me mom I'm gonna take you out to my new favorite place...I said you don't got to tell me twice...it's about 20 minutes from my house but it was sure worth the drive! From the moment we walked until we walked out service was great. I ordered the "Farmers Chopped Cobb Salad" and all the vegetables were all fresh and the lettuce was so crunchy...and the bacon bits...wowsers! This is my Togo place for hamburgers!! Before COVID we used to come here almost every weekend. They have breakfast all day and I love breakfast for diner. I love the French toast with the eggs and the potatoes. We also get the natural burger. This one is my favorite because the meat has no antibiotic or anything bad. Grass feed meat. They come in a combo or just the burger. You can choose half fries and half fried zucchini. I love that combination. My husband usually gets the double it's pretty good too. They also have the veggie Burger. This is what I get lately. It is very good. It has brócoli potatoes carrots and it tastes good. I get it as a combo with half zucchini and half fries. They give you ranch and ketchup for the zucchini and the fries. They always make it fresh. We have had the fish and chips. The fish taste pretty good. It is crunchy and well done and at the same time juicy. We had it with fries and coleslaw. I really enjoy their food. Chicken sandwiches are pretty good too. Salads are fresh and tasty. Wow! Awesome breakfast burrito! I believe this is my first time visiting a Farmer Boys. This review is based on a pickup order using their online ordering system which is managed by Postmates. The ordering process was fast and easy. I choose something simple, a classic egg, hash brown, sausage and cheese breakfast burrito. It was ver delicious! A perfect blend of each ingredient and I was pleasantly surprised that it has mild salsa in it too. A very good sized burrito, I probably should have just eaten half but it was so good I nearly finished it. I also got a plain black coffee which was very serviceable. I think you have to ask for cream and sugar when receiving your pickup order. Updating my review from the previous 1 star... to a 1 star. They still get a star because their fries are good and crispy and my youngest son likes their French toast. That's getting the good out of the way. Now for the bad to worse: 1) customer service problem A... the coupon for French toast meal provided stated 'with drink'. When my wife named the drink, they stated that it was not a meal. When my wife pointed at the coupon to prove the point, the cashier, Maria, huffed, sighed, then complained, "well, we are out of kids cups, so I guess I'll just have to give a regular cup." Interesting point about this particular transaction, this was NOT a kids meal, so she intended to whine AND short-change us. 2) My family used their restroom and ordered their half inside before coming back to us at the drive thru. As Alejandra read back our order from the receipt at the window, my family was waiting ahead of us to come to the car and I signaled a wave to come. For some odd reason, this not only perturbed her but prevented her from reading the East of the receipt. Once she finally got back to me, she asked, " is that everything?!" I simply gave a yes though she didn't mention the burger modifications specifically. 3) The double cheeseburger was burnt. It looked like a feeble attempt at another famous burger joint's charring process, but did not deliver at all. The taste was a sad blend of overdone burger off the grill and "do you smoke? Because if you do, this burger is strewn with menthol and tobacco flavors abound!" My some couldn't even eat it. So that was a wash. Skip this because somewhere else is much much better. Service 4/5 I got my food in a timely manner not too fast or slow and the woman that took my order has good friendly customer service. Value 4/5 so most local burger joint advertise their burgers on Yelp and when you order their burger it's no where that size or no where that good like the picture describe it. The French toast itself was browned on one side and not on the other leaving it soft on one side and crunchy on the other. Just weird. Not cooked properly. Very hungry and rode thru the drive thru, immediately asked to wait in front, which ordinarily wouldn't have been a problem. Well today was the day of disappointment for me. I specifically asked for a breakfast burrito with no meat. Just hash browns, a very soft egg and cheese. To my surprise, I got hash browns that weren't brown anywhere and brown eggs. The smell of burned eggs makes my stomach turn. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to eat but was able to give it away to a hungry person on the street, which is what God probably wanted me to do. I was desperate for a quick sandwich so decided to pop into this place as have never tried and they had decent reviews. I ordered a Sourdough Chicken Avocado Sandwich without the meal, to go. They didnt appear to be super busy, and definitely are more of a fast food type place so I was surprised it took a while for my sandwich. When I got home and opened it I could already see it was soggy, as was coated in butter or grease from where they toasted the bread. I ate part of it, but was too heavy for me. The taste wasn't horrible though. I have to take part of the blame since fast food is not my style in general, so this is probably delicious to some people. Discovered Farmer Boys a few years ago and have been going more and more. I just wish they had more locations here in town! While they may take a couple minutes longer than some fast food places, they are still pretty quick, and the food is so much better! Fresher, higher quality, and with good portions. I got their big cheese combo, but it's always a debate whether to get that or there delicious breakfast (their pancakes are just so good, why can't I make them like that?). They also just recently started a happy hour menu that I have been meaning to take advantage of. The service is always great too, with friendly people at the registers and then coming out to bring you your food and also checking on you. They keep the restaurant super well kept and in order. This place has really good burgers but they always take awhile to get your order out. I recently had a chicken sandwich and was disappointed. I changed the cheese to cheddar and I thought it was really weird that they gave me shredded cheese. Shredded cheese on a sandwich does not taste good and isn't all gooey like the regular cheese slices.
