I've heard a lot about Farmer Boys and mostly positive. I finally decided to give it a try today. I ordered their cheeseburger meal that came with french fries and a drink for a little under $11.00. I was excited until I took a bite. I'm not sure if the meat is not supposed to be seasoned. Maybe I should've asked prior to ordering. The burger was bland. Needless to say I was very disappointed. If the meat was seasoned, it would've been a different experience for me. The customer service was great, very friendly and welcoming. read more

The zucchini sticks are cut lengthwise and you get four of them. The coating stayed on (I've ordered from other places and the coating just slides off) to give a nice crunch which compliments the soft zucchini inside. The pastrami sandwich was a miss this time around. The meat itself had a good texture and taste but the bread was just soaked with oil. It was not the juices of the meat being placed so the inside of the bun soaks the juice type of situation. It was more of they tried to heat the bread on a grill that had a lot of grease so both the outside part of the bottom and top of the buns were soaked. Eating the bread with the pastrami took away from the flavor of the pastrami meat and was very hard to get through. I had it to go and was eating it while driving so I just picked through the meat. Not worth the value considering the price of the the sandwich. Maybe this was a one off top of situation but that zucchini sticks, top notch go to item. This place is an above average fast food joint. The seating area is big, clean and inviting. Yet, there's a drive-thru. The service is slow however. They're known for their fresh, never frozen burgers, but I went for the Farmer's Chopped Cobb Salad. I ordered for here and a server brought it to my table. Food was great. The chicken club was better than the wrap. Glad they ask onions or no onions on the chili cheese fries because I would have hated it with onions. They were fast at getting the food out at a decent time and glad it was fresh. Great Farmer Boys location! I came by the other day after ordering in the app for pick-up, and my order was ready to go, and made correctly! Including the extra ranch for my salads that I had selected! Most locations do give the extra ranch even when you select/ask for it in the app! Will be back again. Thank you to my Yelpie friend (you know who you are) otherwise I would not have known about it and would not have gotten to taste their delicious salads. I was visiting Las Vegas. I found this Farmer Boys near where I was at the time. I went through drive-thru. They have 4 different salads... Chopped Cobb Salad, BBQ Chicken Ranch Salad, Southwest Chicken Salad or Grilled Chicken Salad. They all looked so good. I actually had a hard time deciding. However, the friendly staff taking my order recommended his two favorites so that's what I got... Chopped Cobb Salad and Southwest Chicken Salad. Thank you Sir! I have already eaten the chopped cobb salad. It was made with fresh and high quality ingredients. Love the chicken chunks and bacon combo! It was so delicious. Ranch dressing was light and tasty. I would order this salad again. I think it's probably their most popular salad out of the 4. I have not eaten the Southwest Chicken Salad yet. I will today. I'm sure it's good, too. However, I think my salad may be missing some tomatoes not 100% sure LOL. One corner of the salad seems quite empty. Anyway, staff was great. Service was fast. Prices were reasonable. Went through the drive-through and got a hotcakes platter, two tender dippers, and a parmesan crusted grilled cheese. I kind of overdid it, but it was so good ! Hotcakes had like a nice crispy edge, but fluffiness to it was good. Sausage and over medium egg was just the right amount. The chicken, tender, crispy and flavorful. And the Parmesan crusted grilled cheese was actually my favorite it had the right amount of cheese to bread ratio and the crispy parm crust just made the grilled cheese more enhanced! I'm not really a grilled cheese or cheesy type of person neither but whoa boy. I like that one. I would actually add a patty if I could. But must try. Service was alright it was fast for fresh food. If you haven't been to Farmer Boys, yet, it is a casual restaurant serving awesome breakfast options and great lunches. I've been to almost every location in town and it never disappoints. It's the type of restaurant where you order at the counter, and then they bring the food out to your table. Extremely awful experience here. I ordered online and came to pick up at the time it said it would be ready, they said it wasn't ready yet. I waited for 20 minutes when an employee asked what order I was picking up, I told him and another employee came to say the kitchen never got the ticket and it would be another 10 minutes. It's Sunday 7/7/24 at about 2:45pm. There is a lot of free parking along with a couple of handicap accessible parking stalls. The parking lot was clean. We were greeted when we entered by a man who may have been the manager. He was friendly and helpful. The food was served up quickly, hot and fresh. The burgers and fries were presented well and looked appetizing. We walked around the entire dining room looking for a clean booth. Not finding a clean booth we looked at the tables in the center of the dining room. Not finding one we sat at a dirty table. While eating we watched the manager come to the dining room with a salad. He sat at a dirty booth and had his meal. The drink station was also dirty. The manager getting his water couldn't miss this. Today I decided to give this location another try. I ordered the bacon big boy box. When I got home I took a bite into my burger and it was cold. Not only that but they forgot to give me my fries that I paid for. My drink that came with the box meal had only a little ice cubes floating around. Jesus Christ who do you have work g for you. Serving food at an improper temperature can make someone sick! And open yourself up for a law suit. I'm definitely going to get the authorities involved at this location. I'm tired of paying so much money for garbage food. As I said before, the location on Eastern in back of the airport is 100 percent professional and a 5 out of 5 stars . Came here for the $3 Big Cheese for National Cheeseburger Day. For $3/ cheeseburger, you get quite a hefty burger! Tomato, onion, cheese, and some kind of 1000 island similar sauce is included. I just came in Sept. 14 @ 7:40 am to dine in. Me and my fiance are visiting town and we dont have Farmers Boys where we live and we love their burgers. I've been to Farmer Boys 2 times now and both times were good. Nothing over the top but it wasn't terrible either. Both times the service we received was great. The person at the counter has always been friendly and very helpful when I've asked questions about their menu. The first time I went I ordered the salad and the veggies were fresh, the ranch dressing had a great taste and the bacon was so yummy. The 2nd time I went we ordered the burger combos. The fries there are so good. They were fresh, crispy, and seasoned. The burger had lettuce, tomato, thousand island sauce, onions (I asked for them to be grilled) they were cooked somewhat but I wish that they were grilled more. We used coupons that I got from the mail so that saved a few dollars which was nice. I'm looking forward to going back and trying their breakfast menu. I seen that they serve breakfast all day. My Mother's experience at Farmer Boys: I was so hungry around lunch time a few days ago that I decided to feed that monster at Farmer Boys on West Charleston in Las Vegas. (I had skipped breakfast because I was very busy that morning) Since breakfast is served all day, I decided the breakfast platter would be ideal. I ordered the pancake platter with sausage and soft scrambled eggs, to go. I was disappointed that the order took such a long time to come out.. When it finally arrived, as is my custom, I checked the order to be sure it was correct. It was not. The order had bacon and one sausage patty. It should have had only sausage. So I let the manager know and he asked the kitchen to make more sausage and offered orange juice while I waited. I appreciated his level of customer service. But later things got worse. Once I got home and was ready to dig in, I was not happy with the platter at all. The pancakes were almost burned on the underside, eggs were overcooked, and hard scrambled. My wife and I dropped in on a Sunday evening. It was not terribly busy at the time. Our order was promptly taken, (2) Hog Heaven Breakfast Burritos, and the order was up within 5 to 7 minutes. When our order was brought out, we asked for a couple of sides of the pico de gallo. The employee promptly left to go get what I requested and returned within about 3 to 4 minutes with two small bowls of pico de gallo and explained that they didn't have any of the small cups ready to just pick up and go so she brought us the bowls as seen in the picture. My wife and I thought that was very nice of her as we both love pico to Gallo with our breakfast burritos. The bad part about this place is that you will wait a good minute before you get your food because it is made to order. The good part is of course FRESH FOOD. I decided to dine in. Had the farmers Cobb salad. This bowl of salad was good enough for 4 people. It was HUGE! And under $10. Ya. Crazy. I know. It was good too. What got me was the dirty bowl on the outside. I'm giving Farmer Boys a THREE STAR rating NOT because of the food, it's excellent, but because on literally every trip there the staff, including the manager are horrible. This IS NOT an inexpensive fast food restaurant, however, the place has FANTASTIC food. But that's where the compliments end. I've been there more than a couple of dozen times. I'm a VIP card member. The staff is rude, short, doesn't listen, gets your order incorrect more times than they get it right and takes forever to serve you. I have asked for the manager numerous times and each time she makes you feel like you've done something wrong and that her staff is the best in the world. So I called their corporate office and guess what? I see why the franchisees are the way that they are. Corporate is just as uncaring, condescending and evil as the employees in their stores. I recommend this place because of the quality, taste and deliciousness of their food. However, please be warned that if you ask for anything special the staff will treat you like second class citizens. I just had a Farmer's Burger with cheese, along with a side of fries. That was the BEST guacamole & bacon cheeseburger I've had in a while. To borrow phrases from other establishments, it was both "finger-lickin' good" and it got "all over the place". They were NOT stingy with the guacamole, and I had to keep scooping up the extra guacamole and sauce, which kept dripping onto the wrapper. The fries were so hot that they were still warm and crispy when I was finished with the burger. I also ordered it with extra lettuce and tomatoes, and the burger looked like a beast! The only negative that I can think of is that the bun was slightly charred black. I ripped off that part of the bread to avoid most of it. All in all, if anyone is looking for an excellent Guacamole Bacon burger or cheeseburger, DEFINITELY pay your local Farmer Boy's a visit! read more
