Since the garage sale Saturday was slow I decided we should try a new breakfast spot. When we arrived we were surprised because we expected a restaurant but saw that it had a drive thru. We were a little bummed but still went in as we drove a bit to get here. The place was very clean and tidy. I would say it had like a Cracker Barrel Express type look to it. I ordered the hog heaven (bacon, sausage and ham) breakfast burrito and my girlfriend had the French toast. All was pretty decent. Price was a little high but I think I just need to understand that this is the way now. I will return here to give the burgers a shot. If those are good I can see myself going here more often.

If you see this employee she is one of the rudest employees to a customer I have encountered.

I don't ever write bad yelp reviews but this was unacceptable My pastrami sandwich had a plastic bag tie inside it one of the managers told me next time they will take care of it and gave me a card I went in after getting my car washed and the card was lost explained to the extremely rude representative that I did not have the card but should honor that I almost choked on a piece of plastic that was in my sandwich and she said no and I asked her her name and told me don't worry about it.

I'm so confused by the negative reviews-maybe I'm just lucky? I LOVE their food! To me, it's the highest quality food you can get at a drive thru. One of the rare places where their food fills you up, and looks as good as the pictures. You leave full without feeling gross. For dine in, I really like that they bring your food to you instead of you grabbing it (I always have anxiety about someone else accidentally taking my food). This location is always sparkling clean. No sticky tables. No crumbs on the seats. No ice spilled on the floor by the fountain drinks. No dirty bathrooms. Staff here is friendly, fast, and efficient. I usually get the avocado burger but this time I got the farmers burger and it was great. Their zucchini sticks are HUGE. I like that the breading on them is thin. They fry it just enough to cook the breading, leaving the inside fresh instead of soaked in oil. Their ranch is bomb too. The first time I had farmer boys was in nor cal, so I'm stoked that we have one here now!! Btw - if you dine in, the napkins are on your food tray

This location is off the beaten path, but not hard to find. Having not been to one before, I would describe it as fast casual with counter service and a spacious dining area. At lunchtime, it was mostly full. I ordered the grilled chicken club sandwich and Cobb salad. The sandwich was nicely grilled, but the ingredients were unevenly distributed and I had to reorganize my sandwich before eating. The chicken was very tender. The Cobb salad had a pleasant presentation and each ingredient was fresh. Their ranch dressing is fantastic! The salad was big enough for two to share.

I hadn't heard of this place before, but if you're looking for something quick and a bit healthier, this is the spot! We ordered a Cobb salad that had all the yummy toppings. The lettuce is not very high quality, but overall it was still a good salad. The grilled chicken sandwich with bacon was yummy. It had too much mayo for our liking. I appreciated the options of grilled chicken and salads at a fast food spot. The ambiance was nothing special and was like a normal fast food dining area. It had a drive thru which is always convenient. The service was average, but they were still helpful and quick with our things. I would come back here again!

I grew up with Farmer Boys in Los Angeles so I didn't grow to appreciate it until I moved to the 805 and they hadn't made their way here yet. I know a lot of people were excited when this location opened and I was eager to retry Farmer Boys to see if it brought back childhood memories. This location is new and looks new! The restaurant is clean and the drive thru is easy to navigate. It's a nice looking fast food chain and the signage made it easy to find. The menu is pretty big with a lot of options to choose from. I typically come through the drive thru and have found the staff to be nice and efficient. No issues. The food is pretty good for fast food. Definitely a 4/5 for higher quality taste and big portions. It is a little costly here for a fast food chain, but again your paying for a better meal and big serving sizes. I think the cost though is what keeps me from coming back regularly because if I'm going to be bad and have fast food, I don't want to overdo it by spending as much as a casual sit down restaurant would cost. I've liked everything I've tried here. The burgers have a good flame grilled taste and the sandwiches are impressive. Also pro tip - the chicken strips are really good too! I'm a sucker for their sauces, bomb ranch and thousand island here. If you're a saucy gal/guy you'll be happy with the condiments for your sides here. The sides are a little "too big" for me, colossal onion rings and jumbo fried zucchini, not a huge fan but many I know like them. I'll stick with a burger or chicken and call it a day. If your going to treat yo self and have fast food, Farmer Boys isn't a bad way to go.

I spent almost $40 here for a crispy chicken sandwich, a breakfast burrito, and one coffee. The chicken sandwich was a joke. It looked terrible and tasted just as bad as it looked -- dry, burnt, and completely plain. The burrito was supposed to have pico, but there was none -- just eggs and hash browns with zero flavor. For what they charge, this is embarrassing. This felt like gas station food at restaurant prices. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

To many haters on this place. We stop by when we are in the area. They never do me wrong. I do just order simple double cheese burgers. Can't vouch for it all.

Table signage from 02/12/2023. Seems like a good deal.

Walking up feels like stepping into a 90s time capsule in the best way possible. Classic diner vibes, no frills, just hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches and sides. The owners are incredibly kind and efficient, as everything is cooked fresh to order. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating so I grabbed a table outside to soak up that sunshine. Here's what I ordered: Chili Cheese Dog: (upgraded to the Hebrew National) 10/10. Having tried both of their hotdogs, definitely get the Hebrew National over the regular one. It's bigger and more flavorful in my opinion. This thing was loaded. Flavorful chili, melty cheese, and fresh diced onions, all tucked into a perfectly grilled hot dog roll. This is definitely the dog to get if you're torn between all of the options. Street Dog: A bacon wrapped dog with ketchup, mayo and mustard and veggies (I customized mine a bit so opted out of the onion and jalapeño). If you're a fan of bacon wrapped hot dogs, this is always a solid choice too. Pro tip: These hot dogs are HUGE. I was not prepared. One would've easily done the job so next time I'm just grabbing one and adding a side of onion rings because they looked incredible. Overall a very satisfying lunch for under $20 for two dogs and a soda. Great to have a long standing hotdog restaurant in the 805.

Both wieners were nicely grilled, had char marks and the toppings of grilled onions and kraut were delicious as well. In addition, we tried the grilled chicken sandwich as well as the club sandwich. The spot itself is small and is a part of an outdoor mall, but they have very cozy, rustic seating outside, with wooden tables/booths. The whole place has great energy about it. Would definitely come back again.

Stopped by on a Saturday for lunch and picked up the downtown dog. Got in around 1:30pm and walked right up to place my order. SO SAD - Dog Haus decided to change their menu as a whole company nationwide and I don't know if it…read morereally satisfies us the way it used to. Dog Haus is known as an American craft-casual restaurant that's famous for their gourmet hot dogs and sausages all served on Hawaiian bread rolls. However, the new menu eliminated a good amount of their reputation! They sell smash burgers and grilled chicken, but it's called Dog Haus. The menu no longer has items like the spicy Italian, smoked apple sooo veggie sausage, chicken-mozzarella, and curried Thai Fighter wurst. Now, they highlight their normal hot dog and pork sausage - that's it. They used to sell their gourmet and different flavor combination sausages and bratwurst, but now they don't. It's turned into a restaurant like Sonic (but without the fun desserts and drinks) and Shake Shack (but at least Shake Shack has shakes.) They lost their uniqueness. Other than the company decision, which was probably the wurst business move, they also did not communicate clear enough to their employees because everyone at this location seemed to be over it. The guy at the cash register was incredibly annoyed that we didn't automatically understand that onion rings obviously aren't on the menu like before and onion strings are the new thing and what the differences are. We're sad because we really liked this restaurant and location, but it's not worth the food that's now pretty basic at most other American restaurants. Having smash burgers as a hot-dog place vs. selling hit smash burgers at somewhere like Fat Sal's where they're known for that is a bit different. Additionally, the customer service was NOT it. I asked for a water cup and was very disappointed to see that even after running the water for a few seconds, the water was still pink and not clear. When we got our food, our onion rings now onion strings were one of the saddest "shareables" side on their menu. They were limp, oily, hard to eat, and definitely not the move. We ordered entrees and weren't too impressed now that the dogs were normal, as well. Ambiance wise - they have seating inside, some seating outside, and inside have a tv where things like the FIFA World Cup play on a big screen.

I'd been wanting to go back and take Dear Hubby to enjoy this very special re-imagining of the previous space, which had been an Irish pub incarnation. When our sister-in-law and two nieces were in town, the five of us were able to spend a quick evening together at Selvin's. We had been working on a project at our house, and by the time we got finished and ready to go out there wasn't a lot of time left as we went on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. I'm surprised that having a full bar, and being attached to a hotel property, that they would hang it up so early - even 9:30 or 10:00 would make more sense. It's such a charming place; seems a shame to have to call it a night so early. The ambiance is absolutely divine, especially out here in suburbia. It's very innovative in its layout. The lighting was carefully planned and is very effective in creating a special mood. And, what can be said about the wall of roses? It's tailor-made for snapping fun photos, that's for sure. The chef is sending out creative and Dee-Licious dishes from the kitchen. Yes, I know how to spell delicious, but it is worth adding the accented flair to stating the fact that this is a cut above many other dining establishments in the Conejo Valley. Dear Hubby and I shared Pappardelle Pasta and a Tuna Tartare appetizer. Both were excellent. One of our nieces ordered the taco platter. Wait till you see the photo. The only thing that was disappointing, menu-wise, was that bread wasn't included, so we ordered some as a side. Two little slices. I've forgotten the price, but I recall that it turned into sticker shock when we saw what was served. I'm tickled that they offer a nice array of zero proof cocktail options. They aren't inexpensive - apparently spirits without alcohol aren't any less (or maybe only slightly less?) than the full-spirited options. Still, it's nice to have the option. Our out of town family members LOVED Selvin's; it was a big hit with all of us. As an added bonus, there was a guitarist playing beautiful acoustic music when we arrived and were seated in the lounge area. Major extra credit!

It's the perfectly curated trio - Dirty Martini, followed by a well dressed crisp Cesar salad, and perfectly hot Truffle French fries. That's girl dinner in a nutshell (trust us on this combo). On their speciality menu it's called "Martinis and Munchies for Two" for $49. An amazing deal split between two friends. Dirty Martini: Some of the best ice cold martinis on this side of town. These cocktails were crafted to perfection and were always a sucker for the blue cheese stuffed olives. Tossed Cesar Salad: A Cesar salad during these hot summer months always hits the spot. Crisp, cold and fresh. The dressing was solid but I must highlight the lightly scattered capers on this salad - so smart and so tasty! Truffle French Fries: After a few martinis these French fries come in clutch. Crispy, hot and perfectly salted - who doesn't love a French fry and an aioli with a kick. Honorable Mention: PASTA. I was very impressed with my pasta dish here. Ordered the pappardelle bolognese and this pasta was a 10/10. Perfectly cooked ribbons of pasta with a hearty meat sauce and the Stracciatella topping sealed the deal for me on this pasta. We had a fabulous girls dinner from start to finish. The ambience at Selvin's is truly magical and we just love the decor and bar area. We had a cozy little booth to ourselves and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Extra kudos to Claudia for being a bubbly, lovely girls girl who was super attentive to us during our meal and made the night A+. Can't wait to come back soon.

Got brisket sliders which were pretty good, our 2 classic burgers were both medium rare, despite one being ordered medium well. Like a large pink center, but it's fine. The bbq salad is so good though, the perfect mix of bbq meat and fresh lettuce that complements perfectly. The sliders are good but a bit boring, they have a lunch special where it's 2 sliders and a side/soup but I feel they wouldn't be as fulfilling as the other items on the menu for a similar price. Garlic rolls are so soft and buttery. I think our server's name was Jaqueline? So sorry if I'm getting this wrong, but she was managing at least 5 tables from my POV, but she checked on us regularly! Our waters were never empty and everything was great!
