They are our favorite restaurants in Northern Virginia. The menu varies a little from one restaurant to the next, but every restaurant has a relatively broad menu from salads to sandwiches to chicken and seafood and steak entrees. All are prepared fresh and to your liking. If you ever have a meal that isn't perfect, let your server know and they will fix it. Some of the favorite meals we consistently order are chop house salad, Caesar salad, crab cakes, blackened prime rib, chicken and salmon. The prices are getting a little higher, but the value is still very good for the quality and quantity of food provided. Sweetwater Tavern is a little bit noisier and more upbeat than some of the other GAR restaurants. Most have outdoor dining options.
