My fiancé and I got two burgers and fries to go from this spot and we really didn't expect it to be that great, but boy were we wrong! The service is very friendly and my fiancé noticed that the staff seemed to actually care about their guests, which isn't the case often these days. The burgers really do look like their photos! Burgers are thick, charred on the outside, nice medium in the middle, juicy and savory in flavor, & I love the traditional veggies they put into the burger with their house sauce. They don't add too much and it's just enough to make it satisfying. The only thing I could say I didn't care for was the salt. My burger had a bit too much salt for my liking and I couldn't finish it. The only room for improvement for me was in the bun, it was a little too grilled for me. I'd order it again. I also got to meet the owner Les who is as genuine as they come. Fat shack is a great late night spot! The moment we walked in we were greeted and helped even if it was 1am, the energy was nice to have. We got burgers and the deep fried Oreos. The burgers were sooo juicy and flavored nicely, they are angus burgers on a brioche bun. They have a good variety of finger foods here like appetizers, chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches, shakes and desserts. This will def be my new spot to satisfy those late night cravings. I decided what I want after only a few seconds but there was no one to take my order. I was about to walk out when the black guy in the back looked at me like "did you want to order something?" He took my order and I sat down. Each table has a ketchup bottle but the one on my table and others was almost empty. After touching 3 dirty and sticky ketchup bottles I found a full one. Food came out and was not good. Burger was overcooked so all flavor was gone. The fries were the worst. Way overcooked and crunchy. The fries were like eating a cracker. Went here for a late lunch and it was amazing! They have daily specials that end at 4pm so we missed it by 7 minutes so definitely check it out. We ordered the man n cheese bites, chicken wings with golden bbq and a single burger with bacon. The Mac and cheese bites were yummy, great appetizer. When I tell y'all these are the best wings I've had in Vegas so far... I am not kidding!! They were super crispy and flavorful. Usually when I have wings with sauce, the sauce makes the wings soggy- but that was not the case here! They stayed crispy even going home. I've been craving them since I went! Ok, I've been to Fat Shack a couple of times and it was great. However, today was not good and I won't be back. And I don't recommend it to others either. To begin with the parking spaces immediately out front of its establishment was blocked off due to sewage problems. The manhole covers were off and the area smelled of raw sewage. That should have been the first red flag. We walked in and it was hot. The AC was not working and they had two swamp coolers running to little avail. I ordered a Supreme burger, a single, 2 fries, and 2 fountain drinks. $35. The young man that took our order was pleasant. He told us the ice machine is broken but he had ice in the back. Ok, that's fine. I get my cups of ice from him and go to the soda fountain to dispense the soda into my cups. I chose 2 different kinds of soda. Go back to the table eager to take a sip of this ice cold soda since it was so hot in the establishment. I took a sip and the soda was flat. I mean gross, day-old flat soda. We advise the young man working the counter. He checks it out and says the sodas are all full to the brim. My boyfriend suggests that perhaps it's the Co2 tank that needs replaced, not the syrup. The young man goes, "yea, I don't know. They are all full and I tasted them and they taste fine." He obviously doesn't know what to do so I just asked for a bottled soda instead which he complied. As we ate our meal, my stomach is turning. I don't even finish it. My boyfriend finished most of his meal. As we are on the way home both our stomachs are turning and it was like a scene out of a movie where we are about to sh!t our pants if we don't get home fast enough. Super salty and the macaroni was way over cooked. Ordered wings, they were way over cooked and honestly felt like they were forgotten in the fryer. Pretty sure they haven't changed the fryer oil this century. Ordered a burger and holy schmokes the patties were so over cooked we could have used them as air hockey pucks or used them to kill small animals in the desert. It was super cold inside as well, I'm thinking they didn't want people to actually sit and eat.
