I ordered a bowl with the honey chicken protein & I swear the food was already at the top of the plate by the time they finished serving the protein & spreading it around. Hot food is supposed to be held at safe temperatures to prevent bacteria, and this definitely wasn't. Chicken was over-salted, portions were off, and multiple items were unavailable at 9 PM (no corn salsa, limited toppings), which makes no sense hours before closing. I was also overcharged (charged for steak instead of chicken), and the employee had an attitude when I asked about missing items. To top it off, my hard shell was broken. So, despite my so-so experience at the Pasadena chipotle, I stopped at the one on Beverly. I was starving and it was on my way. When I came in, there was nobody in line. So I stand at the counter, and there's this short girl with glasses cleaning the counter... which I can appreciate... but never looks up a me, say hi, or anything else. She is completely ignoring me. There's a guy dealing with app orders, he glances at me twice, but never says anything either. After another minute I say "is anyone going to take my order?" The girls finally looks at me and says "I'll be with you in a minute", then goes off to clean something else. Another minute later a 3rd person comes out from back and takes my order. The line wasn't long, somehow I waited for a long time but when it was finally my turn the experience went downhill quickly. The staff was not friendly at all and I felt rushed from the start. I politely asked if there was any corn left and the response I got was, "I don't know, I'll have to go check it and I don't have time." That is not an acceptable way to respond to a customer. I felt so uncomfortable after that I didn't even want to ask them to check. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout was no better -- I was met with the same energy of "hurry up and get out." I honestly thought maybe I was just having an off moment, but after reading other reviews I see this kind of experience is consistent here. It seems like this location is lacking good management and proper staff training. Me and my family came here and there was a nice young lady that helped my sister and this man helped me he gave me a mountain of food but at checkout there was a man that smelt like a cigarette and he came from the back so we all assumed that he was smoking. Then there was nasty little specks of yellow on the plastic spoons. The music here is very unpleasant and it sounds like someone is screaming. The there was very little chicken and young lady in the front said that the chefs are tired of cooking brisket so they are not gonna add any more brisket. The pico de gallo looks like it was there for four days. The chicken looked dry. The pork was smothered in butter or grease. The workers were not wearing a hairnet. I was verbally attacked today by the manager because my son wanted the chicken from the kids quesadilla on the side instead of inside. He has sensory issues and doesn't like the texture of the chicken inside but they refused to do it unless I paid $5 extra. The gentlemen who served my bowl was unbelievably rude, didnt say a word to me, had an angry and annoyed look on his face, covered my bowl before I even had the chance to order all of the toppings I wanted, and aggressively handed me my food at the end. Wow, this location has reached an all time low. I went near closing time, so I expect options to be out. I wanted regular steak.... Out of stock. Ok. I asked if they had something similar, and they mentioned the more expensive guajillo steak option. I agreed. When the server was about to scoop it in my bowl, I saw over half of the container filled with chicken. EW! I personally don't like the chicken at chipotle, and on top of that, it feels like they're cheaping out! WTF! This is so gross beyond all levels. I said I don't want mixed meat. Only steak. So my coworker and I then pay for the food as they are bagging up our food she literally throws the receipt inside the bag, I look at my coworker and give him a look like did she really just throw the receipt in the bag first of all did your parents teach you manners like god dammnit CHIPOTLE really needs to retrain this girl. I heard they are increasing back to their old size portions, so I went in. I even videoed it cuz I heard that helps. It doesn't. While the overall "portion" filled up the bowl it was literally all rice. I even asked for 50/50 beef and chicken as that trick used to work to get more protein but it got me 4 cubes of chicken and 4 small pieces of beef. With sour cream and cheese it was almost $15.
