We went here for a wedding and at first we were confused because we walked in and there were no…read moresigns of a wedding. We had to ask an employee and they showed us to the upstairs area where they had a ceremony and reception area. This was a more intimate wedding and the space for it was very nice for it. They were able to decorate it so it was very elegant. The bar did get busy during happy hour but they moved along quickly. The food was served buffet style. We got salad, mashed potatoes, pizza and a choice of beef or chicken. The portion seemed small to me. They did offer more pizza later on in the night. The dance floor was roomy enough for the people that were there. We had such a great time celebrating here! Parking was not bad either. They had a few lots and street parking around but they also did rent out a lot that we used that night. They had a family member shuttle too since it was freezing that day! There are also hotels around the area for those who decided to stay.

Contrary, when you only get so many warm months in MN, it's best to take advantage. Known for their vast array of pizzas, my table split a fancy Bahn Mizza (mirrored after a Bahn Mi sandwich) pizza along with a traditional pepperoni. Both were exceptional! Make sure to check the menu out in advance as there were some pretty cool options such as Carolina BBQ and Taco Truck. In addition, there are plenty of fun drinks such as frozen ones, wine, beer, and mocktails (shout out mocktails). The service was great and accommodating considering the live bands performing. They had their concept down to a T and placed wrist bands when entering after collecting the fee. Note: you can save money if you buy concert tickets online as opposed to at the show. Clean Plate Club rocked it per usual. If you haven't heard of this band, check them out. They are going to play at my wedding! Rock on, Day Block Brewing!!

The patio is a huge highlight. It's spacious, well set up, and perfect for enjoying drinks outside, especially in the warmer months. There are games to play, plenty of seating, and a really fun, laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to spend a few hours there without even realizing it. The food is also a standout, which isn't always the case at breweries. We especially love the pizza and the elote fries, both are consistently delicious and pair perfectly with their drinks. It's nice to have food options that go beyond the basics and actually feel like a reason to come back. The staff has always been super friendly and patient, even when it's busy, which we really appreciate. It makes the whole experience feel welcoming and easy. Inside, the space is just as great. There are two levels and games you can play, so there's plenty to do no matter the weather. Overall, this is one of our go-to spots and somewhere we find ourselves coming back to again and again.

They have a fantastic beer selection with tons of great options on tap. Beyond the food and drinks, the service was outstanding. Our table was like a big king table and it was hard to converse. Wouldn't recommend for a large group. We split a few appetizers. I did not like the wontons. We got two different wings. I would say the menu is correct on spice scale. Our waiter recommended chipotle saying it would not be spicy. It was too spicy for me. I loved the maple bourbon wings and would get them again. They are wet. I ordered the classic juicy Lucy and waffle fries. The juicy Lucy did not disappoint!! Yummy! The waffle fries were not crispy and were not hot. Dirty dishes sat while we waited for our meal. Dirty dishes sat while we ate our meal. Dirty dishes sat when we were done our meal (like the same app dirty dishes!). Even after we paid the bill, there was still a lone dirty plate with chicken wing bones. Gross. They were amazing at clearing empty glasses and replenishing drinks- dishes, not so much.

I absolutely love Hen House Eatery! For breakfast, I ordered two slices of their cinnamon French toast, served with two eggs and bacon. To drink, I treated myself to a delicious, beautifully layered tiramisu latte. Another thing I absolutely love is their grab-and-go bakery case. It is so rare and refreshing to see so many clearly labeled GF treats, like their Lemon Bars and Almond Cheesecake. We couldn't resist taking some goodies to go, so we went home with a lemon bar and one of their GF Fruity Pebbles bars. If you're looking for a delicious, incredibly gluten-free friendly brunch spot with a great atmosphere, you have to check this place out!

They also had a delicious iced banana bread latte on their special menu...the banana bread cold fold was so, so good. Overall, great service, quick meal and really delicious food.
