Our very friendly and knowledgeable server let us order off of the happy hour menu, so my friends and I split a variety of items. First - bread with the 3 dips - you absolutely must get this. Second - fried zucchini balls. While I did like them, I wish they were smaller so the inside was a little more cooked. Third - Creamy Tomato Vodka Pasta - yummy with a bit of kick! This was my favorite food item. Fourth - Queen Stella Margherita pizza. Surprisingly, this was my least favorite item. We got it thin-crust, and while it looked good, it was served completely cold, and the flavor can only be described as cardboard-like. I would definitely try another pizza here, but not this one. My friends also split an order of meatballs, which they loved. While they had wine for dessert, I had a piece of limoncello cake for dessert. It was fantastically lemony and moist, which I loved. Their parking lot is valet only, but fortunately you only have to pay the $6 fee Fri-Sun, so we just had to tip the very friendly valet.

We order it with siracha & soy sauce instead of the sauce it comes with- simply just a personal preference. I usually get the Spicy Tuna Avocado salad but they don't always have it. (which I'm ok with because they make sure the tuna is fresh) I have gotten the shrimp and mushroom rice platter before and it is very tasty as well. My husband loves their Bahn Mi sandwiches- he tries a different one every time and always is very satisfied! If you are in downtown Tampa, I would suggest you definitely check out Fusion Bowl. Many different options and very fresh and delicious.

I used to visit Felicitous quite often, the coffee is good, and the atmosphere is awesome. However, I no longer visit Felicitous because I have been continually harassed and verbally abused by the manager Brittany. When I first started patronizing Felicitous, Brittany began making aggressive advances towards me, to which I declined. At one point, she accused me of "Standing her up," despite the fact that we never had a date. She began making blatant and explicit statements about my sexuality, spreading rumors that I was a homosexual, and characterizing my friendship with another man as a romantic one. Because of those rumors, I had to dispel the sexual advances of gay men on more than one occasion; as they believed I was gay because they had "heard it." I brought the issue to the attention of the owner, Rani Chehal, via email. When she responded, she told me she couldn't deal with the matter right away because it was going to be a busy two weeks. She never responded until I brought the issue to her attention again a month later. She then forwarded me an email from Brittany that was purported to be an apology. It was not an apology, it was one equivocation after another, blaming me for her outright malicious behavior. The so-called apology was an incredibly tough pill to swallow; I had opened up to Mrs. Chehal about the fact that I had been sexually abused as a child, and that insinuations about my sexuality hit close to home. I began revisiting Felicitous because, effectively, I'm all alone in the world, and it's nice to have a place to go. As well, I thought the verbal abuse from Brittany would subside; it did not. On one occasion, the employees of Starbucks in the strip mall in front of Felicitous' property, dumped an entire garbage bag of old coffee grinds into the yard where people congregate, and where children play. It attracted flies, smelled terrible, and sat rotting for several days. I offered to compel Starbucks to clean up the mess, and Mrs. Chehal accepted the offer. So, I did what had to be done in order to compel them to clean up their mess, ending with writing a letter to their corporate office. They finally did clean up the mess, and the manager of the Starbucks came an personally apologized to Mrs. Chehal as a result of my action. The next time I visited Felicitous, Brittany began verbally abusing me because her friend, whom worked at the Starbucks, had either been fired or reprimanded, I'm not sure which. She yelled at me in the middle of the store, refusing to even me explain my actions. Personally, I don't think I should have needed to explain my actions in the first place; Starbucks is their direct competitor in both substance and location, and they wantonly dumped rotting waste into a yard where children played, and then refused to clean it up until I wrote to their corporate office. Later that day, I was confronted by Mrs. Chehal about the situation; and when I attempted to explain the verbal abuse of her manager, Brittany, she continually spoke over me and refused to listen. She then threatened to ban me, with no concern for the disrespectful and abusive behavior of her manager. Once again, covering for Brittany trumped treating me with even a shred of respect. It re crystallized to me that minding the unstable emotional state of Brittany was more important than ensuring that I was treated with respect. I felt humiliated; I had already accepted being sexually harassed by Brittany, and then being blamed for that harassment. It confirmed to me that she had no concern for my welfare as a customer of her establishment. She had fired employees in the past for singular incidents of speaking rudely to customers. Her excuse for not handling the situation was that; well, I'm a regular, and so it's different. I see, so it's not ok to offend a one time, or infrequent, customer; but it's ok to continually sexually harass me and verbally abuse me because . . . I'll come back anyway, because I am less??? I think Mrs. Chehal is an incredibly creative and talented individual, but she has very poor business acumen, and her judgment is unforgivably flawed. She recently fired an employee without any real reason except, she had allowed his behavior to become damaging to the store by ignoring it and letting it slide for too long. It was certainly a wise decision, but it should have been made much earlier, and it was nothing compared to the openly hostile, and manipulative, behavior or her manager. It's unfortunate, because I really liked going there; however, Felicitous purports to be a welcome place for activists, of which I am one, yet they are not. Rather, it is a hangout for hipster pseudo activists, Charlatans, and belligerent managers. I haven't been there in quite some time; and initially, I wasn't going to do anything about it. However, I've recently come to the opinion that I haven't been enough of an advocate for myself, and I've been all too willing to accept my own degradation, and that ends read more

During a recent business trip from ATL, I was headed in to the usual SB morning visit. I discovered this place on a last minute search and decided to break from tradition and give it a try. What a nice surprise, and way to begin a boring day in front me. First the place is decorated very unique, and is eye catching. Once inside, the atmosphere was quiet, and comfortable feeling. Now for the true test, the morning beverage. I asked for something that would keep me going for many hours. I knew what I was thinking of getting, but interested to hear what they would offer. Two choices were recommended, one being a Red Eye, and the other an Americano. Great recommendations, those are wake me ups for sure. I decided to get the Red Eye, and it was perfect. The gentlemen behind the counter was funny, and pleasant. When making the recommendation he asked if I simply wanted to be awake, or awake and shaking. That's a nice touch to get a day of boring meetings started. Later I stopped in after the meetings, and a different group of folks were on shift. Just as funny, and the Latte was perfect. Nice layer of foam, good temp, great taste. I returned the next morning, and the gentlemen was there from yesterday. He asked if I was able to stay awake during the " Death by PowerPoint" meeting, and I just lost it with laughter. I had never heard that. Came to realize when I paid closer attention to his hat, he is a combat veteran of Iraq. I thanked him for his service, got my perfect drink, and departed. I love this little coffee and tea shop! If it existed when I was a student I would have definitely spent a lot of time studying here. Small and intimate with ample table space to spread your computer or books out. I can't speak too much about their coffee because I'm not a coffee drinker so nothing I said holds any clout. But my personal opinion is that the couple of specialty coffee drinks I've had have been tasty. Maybe a bit too sweet for my liking but it seems like those are the kinds of drinks that are popular right now! But -- I AM a tea enthusiast and am happy to report that their tea selection, while small, is impressive. They have herbal, rooibos, mate, white, green, and black teas, which are all loose (not in tea bags), and brewed at the correct temperature for the correct amount of time. You can choose hot or iced and they don't add sugar unless you ask. I haven't eaten there in awhile so I don't know what the current incarnation of the menu is -- the paninis I've had have been good but not anything to rave about. But you get a fair amount of tasty food for a decent price which is fine by me. I personally am not vegan but I know some people who would frequent the establishment much more often if the menu were expanded to offer more veggie/vegan selections. What a hidden gem. On my way to buy some yogurt and saw their sign instead, I didn't expect it to be everything that it was! It's in the cutest little house and the vibe upon walking in, is just amazing. Everyone is very nice and it feels like they're in a secret club that you just hope to be a part of! If one of the employees actually told me I could wait outside and they have a window they can call your name and give you your order that way, that would have been stellar customer service. Also know that if you would like a nice ceramic mug like I do, they won't ask you for here or to go, they will just give you a paper cup. I asked if they ever make drinks in mugs and the kind gentleman said yes if you are staying inside. He didn't ask so I didn't know. Miscommunication problem here on the business side. But whatever. The outside could be more pleasant and comfortable and almost return business from me if they actually had their employees CLEAN THE OUTSIDE TABLES AND CHAIRS! It wasn't enjoyable to hunker down with a table full of bird shit, ( I love nature and ima free hugger) I tolerated it to try to enjoy the I e vanilla latte. I asked if they use real extracts or puréed pumpkin as most establishments just use simple sugar syrups and I was hoping g that because they weren't big corporate chain they would strive for less processed especially because of the price of their drinks. There seemed to be a lot of downtime after a rush so there's really no excuse for not cleaning up crumbs or bird shit off the surfaces where their customers are supposed to eat and drink. For me to return here, I would really love to see clean outside, one more shade screen they don't cost much, and more hanging plants and flowers on tables or plants in general would make this space beautiful, add some bamboo for privacy and voila I might show up again. For now, I'll stick to businesses that stem e not only for friendly customer service but a clean environment as well. Bummer wanted to support local. Quemaria coffee does it right!!!! Boho but clean and nice global music playing, that would be nice here as some peoples conversations are loud. Something to drown out the traffic as well. They could add a few more tables just purchased from thrift store. I wanted to LOVE but this place is probably best for students that don't have higher expectations.

The place inside is small but cozy and organized. Loved that they have a corner for reading. The music played was really chill and I can see myself spending some time there with a coffee and reading. The service was fast and nice,the girl in the front recommended me the shaken oat espresso but when I saw the sugar free syrup options I said I need to try them.
