Amazing coffee at Felix Roasting! I've been waiting for this place to open back up since we moved in the area. Not only is the decor inside so well done but the coffee is also very very good. They have a house made nut milk - in which you could really taste the difference in the drink. I ordered the flat white with nut milk and my friend got the cappuccino with nut milk. Came here on a Sunday morning. The ambiance here is so nice, and the music they played gave a great vibe. Love the fact that they have Supermoon desserts! I ordered an almond milk latte and the ham and cheese croissant. One thing I noticed is that they don't heat up the croissants. (I am sure if I asked, they might have?) They're the first "wholesaler" to carry the Supermoon pastries, but come early because they do run out. Popped into Felix Roasting Co after a morning workout and was pleasantly surprised. The space is absolutely gorgeous. Total coffeehouse vibe, with beautiful tiny tables all with flower centerpieces. The barista is located in the middle of the room, sandwiched by ample front and back seating. This coffeeshop resells Supermoon Bakehouse baked goods: they're enormous and wonderfully delicious. I ordered a green tea croissant and flat white. The croissant was flakey and oozing with sweet custard - not too much where it was overpowering though. The flat white was tasty and rich. Definitely recommend this spot as a coffee date spot! read more

An expensive nyc coffee chain with good coffee. The seating experience is very upscale and some of their drinks are really unique! I didn't try the food, but the selection is liminal, so keep that in mind. The staff was really kind and patient! Review is for coffee/espresso exclusively, which, for me, begins and ends any thought about a "coffee shop". Haven't tried the specialty drinks or food. No surprise that the ham and cheese croissant from this gorgeous cafe is probably the best I've had in New York - Supermoon Bakehouse sells their baked goods here! Unlike other ham and cheese croissants, these have it as a filling rather than sandwiched between a croissant cut in half. These remind me of Tartine's ham and cheese croissants, but unlike Tartine's, these can't be warmed up. The cheese is stiff and the ham is slightly tough, but I'd still order it again. If you're looking for a good jam or jelly donut, get the strawberry brioche donut here. The donut itself is wonderfully fluffy and soft, and the jam is just runny enough. No needs in the jam (that I saw), which makes the jam really smooth and delightful. Though a bit on the petite side, the donut was well worth it's price in quality. read more

The only problem I have with this place is that they have a very limited menu to choose from. A colleague of mine brought this up when I was ready to go down for my normal Starbucks run. I was intrigued with this place when I heard about their raspberry croissant, but upon visiting, I came to realize that it was a special item so it was out of season. I picked up a blueberry rosemary croissant since it was also a special menu item, but felt that the rosemary was way too powerful for the croissant. A little bit of a peculiar taste in my mouth, but the croissant was super crispy, a little burnt. Still, the texture was something that I was satisfied with. I also got a vanilla latte with their homemade almond, cashew milk. After coming here and reading the reviews, I am definitely tempted to revisit to try out the s'mores latte. Walked by here last week and completely stopped in my tracks of how pretty this place looked inside for a coffee shop. I finally returned this weekend ready to check it out. The space itself is beautiful. Pink velvet couches and beautiful wall paper and photos. There is definitely a Paris vibe going in here and I appreciated it. We were informed when we arrived (around 9:15am on Sunday) that they did not have any food but pastries. We both got matcha Lattes, 1 lemon loaf, and 1 zucchini muffin. The matcha was good and a nice size for the price. I found the pastries to be overpriced for what they were but too be fair I am a pastry queen so I've tried so many all over the city. I would say if your looking for a quick grab and go maybe skip for the price but if you want to meet a friend, do a little work, read a book, or go to a coffee shop where you can just sit alone and admire the ambiance then this is a great place to spend some time! read more

This place is so nice inside!! I love the pink and teal interior - very Ladure vibes. Pink couches, floral wall paper, tile, round bar And the coffee is actually very good. Decent seating (small round tables better suited for chatting than studying) and they have some outlets and they have wifi. The staff were very nice without being pretentious . I didn't try any food but they had croissants, scones, cookies, and maybe some to-go salads (?) Overall, great option for takeout or meeting someone for a coffee. Nice place, Nice staff. 1 star for breaking the law. They do not accept cash. The law makes it so NYC businesses have to accept cash unless they have a machine to convert cash to a prepaid cash card - and they're not allowed to charge more for cash payments. read more

A gem of a cafe! Inside is beautiful -- pink everywhere and flowers on all the tables. Lattes -- pretty expensive. Got a s'mores latte after seeing it on Yelp. $12 is steep for a latte but it was fun to watch them make it -- they toast the marshmellow with a torch and use smoke to give the latte a smoky finish. Table seating is somewhat limited -- some people were definitely working on their laptops but a good amount of people were there to chat with friends as well. I'd probably feel guilty if I were to sit at a table for too long working. Would definitely come back to try the other drinks on the menu. read more

Let's face it, you're here for an instagram picture, and the s'mores latte really delivers on that front. It photographs well, it's presented with fanfare, and it's really tasty to boot. I'm not a coffee snob (yet??), but even my friend who is really liked the espresso. She also said the flat white was too milky but they don't do cortados so she didn't know what else to order. Counting down the days until this spot reopens.... they have a homemade nutmilk blend that is out of this world and they serve on tap (!!) - it's such a fun touch. On a chilly Saturday you will find this place packed out with people eating, sipping, reading, writing and gathered around small round tables laughing. Their nut milk lattes were some of the smoothest I've ever had. I would always get it 'to stay' even if I was running late because they came in the most beautiful ceramic mugs and the experience was so elevated it was worth taking the minute to sit and truly enjoy. It's only been open for a couple of weeks but there's already a lot of buzz about it so I decided to check it out :) SERVICE: Great! Everyone was friendly and helpful. You order at the counter and you can either pick it up there or they'll bring it out to you. We ordered a special drink (more on that below) that included a really cool creation process, so we stayed at the bar/counter area to watch. The barista was funny and personable and patiently walked us through the entire process. DRINKS: my friend and I shared the hickory-smoked s'mores latte. It's pricey - $16 including tax - but it is a work of art. As I mentioned, making it is a process that includes toasting the marshmallow, smoking the entire drink and waiting for it to settle. It's made with a graham cracker-infused milk that's made in-house; the barista gave us a sample of the milk while we waited and it's amazing! I want a whole carton of it but sadly it's not for sale. Unfortunately, while the latte's presentation is beautiful, it was a bit smoky for my taste. He did mention it's a seasonal drink and they'll have different concepts for different seasons, so maybe the winter one will be more up my alley taste-wise. DECOR/AMENITIES: this place is beautiful. Definitely Instagram-worthy and it looks more like a nice restaurant or hotel lobby than a cafe. Lots of light and open space. There are two sections: a main section in the front and a smaller, quieter section in the back (the counter is located between the sections). I saw a few people working on their laptops in the back but didn't check if there were outlets (I didn't see any in the front). They mentioned they're expecting to expand to the basement and use it as a space to host classes, coffee tastings etc in order to make the experience more interactive, so looking forward to that! I will split this up in two parts. Personal experience and overall experience I order the hickory smoke latte ($16!!! FYI) and expected them to burn/smoke the hickory wood in front of me where I was sitting but they did not. Like if I was paying $16 I would at least want to get the overall experience. I wouldn't mind this if they had let me know they could only burn it at the counter but they did not so I just blew my $16 experience away. Other points, their bake goods was not delivered on time when I was there (8:15am - 9:30am) so I couldn't even tasted their pastries. The wi-fi was incredibly spotty and their one outlet I could find in their store did noteven work ( not study/work friendly). So for me it was a terrible experience but maybe it was just one of their bad days. Overall experience: the ambience is pretty nice and the interior really shines if you want a cute IG pic/story. The customer seems to really like the place and the coffee is decent. Is the coffee mind blowing? No, but for this place you are really paying for the experience/vibe. I would recommend this place if you value experience/ambiance over taste. Otherwise, there is other better coffee place to choose from. read more

It's a mediocre coffee shop at best. It's really a set for instagram posts without any type of non-sugar sweetener for coffee, only one herbal tea (chamomile), and a weird creepy vibe that makes you feel unsettled if you're sitting there. Be prepared for one person after another to walk in and instagram their experience, less concerned with quality than how things look on a digital picture. read more

Wowwww! I luckily stumbled across this gem last night on my way to a meeting. Paris meets NY in this sophisticated cafe clearly designed for the upscale coffee aficionado! The ambiance is elegant and trendy, with a variety of delicious coffee concoctions and an array of decadent desserts to choose from. I ordered a skim latte to go- which had a delicious flavor. The s'mores latte is on my radar for my next visit- when I plan to stay & enjoy my drink & the breathtaking ambiance. The barista was nice & helpful in the decision making process. My daughter recommended this place because her and her husband came here a few years ago and raved about how great the coffee was. She is also in the coffee business so she knows a thing or two about great coffee. Sadly however she was disappointed in the Cortado that she had... They had to remake it for her and it was still subpar. She was really disappointed because it was so excellent the first time she was there. I have just a regular single origin coffee and it was good, not the best I've ever had but good. Not sure we would make the effort again just to give it another try. read more

No allergy friendly milk options. Their nut milk is a blend of cashew, almond and coconut milks, so if you're allergic to even one of those, you can't have that. The only other plant milk they offer is an oat milk, so if you're allergic to grains, that's also out of the question. Whoever had the idea to blend all their nut milks together really doesn't have a clue about health or food allergies. Please consider offering stand alone almond or macadamia nuts milk for individuals with allergies to enjoy. read more

Not sure what the hype is about. Aside from the ambience and location, this place is subpar when it comes to coffee. The "craft" nut milk was tangy and sour. The coffee itself was bitter, and the combination together wasn't enjoyable. After two sips I threw out my very expensive latte. $15 for 2 lattes - I'd go to Starbucks if I wanted burnt coffee. read more
