Who wouldn't want fresh tea on a warm day? I came here because I was in the mood for a delicious fresh fruit tea and luckily this place was right around the corner from the mall. I ordered the citrus Lord, which was the lemon and orange and a jasmine tea and I don't like overly sweet drinks, so I did ask the cashier for his recommendation for sweetness level, and he said 75%. When I took the first sip of my drink, my drink was way too sour, but thankfully the barista offered to sweeten it up a bit to balance out the sour flavor and once he did that my drink was perfect. I will definitely be back to try other drinks. Parking is a little bit limited but free and they do have cloud pancakes on their menu so I'll definitely be back to try one of those.
This place is hands down a must-try boba shop. My husband and I always order from here through Uber Eats, and we finally decided to visit in person. Let me tell you ,every time we get their drinks, it's always a hit! Their boba teas aren't overly sweet. They make them just sweet enough so you can enjoy them without worrying about too much sugar, and you can adjust the sweetness level to your liking. I love the atmosphere of this place ,very cozy and spacious too. It's perfect for hanging out with a group of friends or a solo date if that's more your vibe. I haven't tried their desserts yet, but I definitely plan to next time I stop by for boba. The service is very quick, and the workers are really friendly as well. Amazing Drink & Amazing Customer Service. I arrived but my drink was not ready when it quoted me 5 mins. I waited for a minute but I had to move my car closer bc I had thought my drink would be quick pick-up. I told the guy working, that I was waiting on my drink. He was so calm, polite and kindly let me know they have not worked on it but to give him 5 mins to make it. When I went outside to move my car closer, he noticed me and walked out to my car to give me my drink. He apologized for the wait and thanked me for understanding. I was not expecting him to come out at all with my beverage, so I really am amazed on the customer service on his end. It was 1000% professional and kind of someone to do! Now, the drink I have never ordered. I normally order Dirty Creme Brulee Boba but today I decided to try their Dirty Taro Milk Tea. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I absolutely loved it! I ordered it 25% sweetness and less ice. I think it tastes perfect! Great treat for my birthday month! Store was clean and minimal but cute decorative location
It's been a while since my last review and since I was in the area, I decided to stop in and get the dirty crème brûlée boba w tea. I initially went to the website to place an order and had options such as DoorDash, caviar, GrubHub, etc. I chose DoorDash, but when I arrived, my order had been canceled even though the cashier at the location says they always confirm. They did not see my order and it showed that it had been canceled and blamed it on DoorDash. Honestly, I don't even know what happened so I had to re-order while I was in the location. The drink tasted good. I asked for less sweet and more ice. I still think it's not enough ice in my opinion. The Boba tasted fresh. The location appeared clean. And the service was friendly. It's definitely a once in a while treat cause I think the drink was almost 8 dollars overall. It's not something I would have every single day.
Such a solid boba spot and they've been around for a while! I went in the evening and the boba was still a really soft and nice texture, which is great because some places can be really hit or miss when it comes to evening time. The milk tea flavor was also not water down or overly saturated with just milk and I had a really nice and rich flavor. The interior of the shop is pretty big and there are plenty of tables for studying or just hanging out with friends. Always a great experience when I come here!
Stopped by Feng Cha for some boba! I got the boba milk tea 50% sweet. It was on the sweeter side so I think 25-30% would have been perfect. Boba was chewy and delicious. I liked how strong the tea flavor was. Ordering was easy. You can place a mobile order or order in store. Inside the store is pretty cute with decorations. Parking can be a bit challenging here since it's in a shared small plaza.
Feng Cha provides an artsy / trendy atmosphere despite being a hole in the wall Tea spot in the corner of a busy plaza. They use good quality tea that is noticeable in their beverages. The boba is soft and chewy and was a great addition to both the Strawberry Overload and Mango Green Tea. The store was empty when I came in. I was welcomed into the store and helped by a nice employee that made my drinks quickly and even brought them out to where I was sitting despite being able to just call out my order being ready. There is plenty of seating inside and overall would be a great place to hang out. There is a decent amount of parking in the lot and I will definitely be back!
Feng Cha in California is a lot different than in other states in my opinion. meaning it tastes a lot better haha. the Dirty Boba is always a staple when going to any Feng Cha and this location did not disappoint. the location was in a small shopping area and parking is limited depending on when you head there. workers were very nice and the layout of the entire shop was good. Will definitely come back here when I'm in the area.
Extremely fast and friendly service. It was not busy at all on a Sunday late afternoon. The drinks are fairly priced and tasted good. You're able to adjust sweetness level of the drinks according to your personal taste as well which is nice. Decent parking available but limited during rush hours. The interior design of the place is modern and cute. Would come again to try other drinks on their menu.
Overall, the milk tea was good, but a bit on the creamy side. I would say the milk tea was fair, but the matcha love dessert was a bit disappointing. The green tea pocky sticks were a good addition, but the cake was small and had a circular hole in it. It was also a bit more on the dense side and not as fluffy as I had hoped. That said it was spongy and the green tea sauce on top was tasty. The flavor of the green tea was authentic and not artificial tasting. The ambiance is nice with mini lavender plants on top of the tables. However, the music is loud and doesn't set up a peaceful cafe experience if that's what you're looking for. Parking is terrible and it's difficult to find a spot because there aren't many to begin with and there are several businesses (including restaurants) located in that same plaza with customers vying for spots.
Great boba shop. No powdered drink mixes here! We had the Earl Grey Milk Tea which uses steeped to order tea. The Dirty Boba - no tea, lactose friendly milk based, brown sugar drink with a fantastic cheese foam. Mango fantasy which is a super refreshing blended mango drink with coconut milk, grapefruit chunks and sago (mini tapioca). Every drink was quality and delicious.
So glad I gave this place a second chance! First time my drink I ordered was accidentally made wrong (understandable since it was just grand opening). They offered to make me a new drink though and I finally got to try the matcha foam!! It's so delicious like a little cake on my drink. The osmanthus oolong tea was also one of the best I've had. Even when I got unsweetened it still had a super strong osmanthus flavor. Same with the rose tea that flavor was super strong. They definitely don't dilute the tea which is great! Will have to try the taro foam next forsure. Also so glad they have the agar (Crystal boba) topping so I can feel healthy haha! Will be back :) read more

This place lived up to its hype! Been seeing this place everywhere on instagram and i finally made the trip to come here. I got there kiwi basil GT, dirty boba, & strawberry overload. Kiwi basil green tea: 50% sugar was just the right amount of sweetness. The basil seeds add a nice texture! Dirty boba: I loved how this wasn't too overly sweet compared to other places. Strawberry overload: 25% sugar! I was going to get 0% sugar but the cashier told me it might be a bit bitter so i went for the next less sweet option. The place is small but so cute and aesthetic. I got a Mango Breeze and it was so so good, tried my friends drinks too and they are all pretty good. I can't remember what it's called but my friend got a berry one and it tasted like a costco berry smoothie and that was just phenomenal. This boba shop has been all over social media so I was compelled to try out their drinks and mini cakes. It's a short drive from South Coast Plaza and has plenty of free parking. The interior is one of the cutest I've seen for a boba shop. I love that there are a few tables that would be ideal for larger groups. - Dirty Boba ($4.65): this drink was delish. It comes with boba. The heavy cream and brown sugar combo is always good. Got it at 75% sweetness, which was plenty sweet. I didn't realize that the Dirty Boba was different than the Creme Brûlée Dirty Boba, which is what I originally meant to order. - Strawberry Princess Cake ($7): this cake is on the smaller side but had plenty of good flavor. The taro chocolate cake was very, very delicious! The cake was soft and fluffy, and paired with the taro foam mousse and chocolate shavings was perfect. Loved every bite of it. The creme brulee dirty boba at 75% sweetness was good for me. The drink was tasty and smooth. The enjoyed the creaminess of the drink. The matcha breeze at regular sweetness was not sweet at all compared to the creme brulee. The bitterness of the matcha really came through. I had a hard time mixing the cheese milk foam in and ended up drinking both separately. I think it would have tasted good if I was able to mix the foam in with the drink. read more

Feng Cha is situated adjacent to a crystal/psychic shop in the same plaza as Kitakata Ramen. There was a decent amount of parking available and orders were out very quickly! I got the creme brûlée dirty boba with less ice and 75% sugar which was great! Love that the amounts of ice and sugar can be modified for every drink. Compared to competitors such as Tiger Sugar, I felt that their take on brown sugar boba was up to par, with the creme brûlée top perfectly caramelized. Price is $5 for a small and only $1 more for a large. I would definitely return to try their other top 5 drinks! read more
Came here on Veterans Day with my friend for a day trip. This place is very aesthetically pretty. Like so so pretty. My eyes were just like wow *insert heart eyes emoji here*. They have a cute stuffed bear that's wearing a mask inside on one of the chairs but he isn't covering his nose. Hurts to see the poor guy be exposed to corona like that. Hope he finds a mask that can cover his nose in addition to his mouth one of these days. Anyways, let's talk about what I think of this place. Parking: horrific. But I'm not deducting stars for parking because you can't really control that. The parking lot is just very cramped and it just stressed me out LOL. Boba: I got a grapefruit green tea and my friend got the creme brûlée. My friend said her drink was STILL too sweet even tho she got it 50% so that's kind of concerning especially since we love sweets. For the grapefruit green tea you could really taste the jasmine tea in it, it was VERY strong. It was strong to the extent it made the drink slightly bitter. If Feng Cha can fix the strength of jasmine tea in the grapefruit drink, it would be perfection. I do love how they have fresh grapefruit in the drink. It's the bitterness of the jasmine tea in the grapefruit drink and the overly sweet creme brûlée which is making me deduct a star. Customer service: the cashier was SO friendly and so sweet and answered all our questions about the menu and gave some suggestions on what to choose. Additionally the drinks were made quick Random side note: the cups here trigger me LMAOOO. Really great new boba shop! I love how they restrict the number of customers in the store and have a ton of space so each party could stand away from each other. I love how brightly lit and inviting the decorations inside the store were! Only downside is that this is located in a very popular and busy plaza with limited parking, so be cautious of peak times! The service was excellent-- super friendly and they make your drinks really fast! I got the oreo cheese milk tea and loved it, will definitely go with a large next time! I've been here twice and first time was pretty good but second time was mediocre. The first time, I got the purple reign which was like grape flavored. The second time I got the Strawberry overload with the decaf option which was sparkling water. The second time we went, we asked if the drinks were sweet and they said yes so we got less sugar for the strawberry overload and 1/2 sugar for the kiwi green tea. I also got my drink with 1/2 sugar and the drink came out ok but the kiwi basil green tea had 0 kiwi taste and the strawberry overload was strong in tea flavor and bitter. First time here and it's your typical boba drink place. Their most famous drink is their "Dirty Boba" which uses brown sugar. It tastes great. Be sure to get it with half sweet, since the brown sugar does get quite sweet. Also, their boba is chewy (in a good way) and tasty. This is a nice place to come hang out while you're waiting for your restaurant in the plaza to open. Parking is difficult to find since the plaza is quite small. I ordered a matcha freeze with 75% sugar and a Crème brûlée Dirty Boba with a black tea base at 75% sugar. They accidentally made an extra and gave it to me so nice n generous. The crème brûlée dirty boba was unique and delicious. The you can taste the Maillard reacted sugar shining through in this drink. All the flavors mix in well together to make a unique boba drink. I hope the garden grove location makes it just as good.... The matcha freeze was alright. I think that drink would have been better with 100% sugar. The flavor of the matcha drink was pretty good. Their boba has very nice flavor. On the sweeter side, but not too sweet. Soft texture but not too soft. Texture is great. Overall a very good boba place. Because of my experience here, I'm gonna give the one next to my house in GG a try. Oh yeah, people here were super cool. Came here because my gf wanted to go and it looked like a new place. Their advertised hours were until 8pm, but we got there around 4:55pm and got off work early. However when we got there, they said they were closing early! They almost didn't let us in but the owner or manager let us in thankfully. I got the taro ice blended drink, and my girlfriend got the creme brulee dirty boba. Mine pretty much tasted like taro, and hers tasted like a standard brown sugar type boba. Overall, I was pretty underwhelmed. It seems like they're focusing more on aesthetic looking drinks rather than something that actually tastes good and unique. The decor inside was really nice, but that was the only thing I was impressed about. Also it was a bit pricey. I understand its a new business, but at least have some sort of soft opening promo to encourage us to come back and try a few more items. I was here yesterday and came back today for another cake. Yesterday, I got their Sea Salt Pearl Cake & Oreo Cheese Cake. I also got Dirty Boba and Oreo Cheese Milk Tea with Boba. The cakes are fluffy, tasty but not too sweet. So far, I loved all the cakes I ordered from Feng Cha Teahouse. As far as their boba drinks go, I loved their Dirty Boba. It was sweet and flavorful but not overwhelming. However, I wasn't a fan of their Oreo Cheese Milk Tea. Nothing wrong with it. Just not my cup of tea (no pun intended). The place is small, cute, and very clean. All the staffs are wearing masks and they are enforcing healthy precautions to their customers, such as wearing masks and social distancing, during pandemic. Feng Cha is far superior than any of the other Boba places in Orange County. I love the taro breeze, which is a blended drink. I've tried most of the other boba/tea houses and none can get it right. Feng Cha gets it right, every single time. The drinks never have ice chunks, which I hate, because the employees actually know what they are doing. The quality of products used always taste authentic, fresh, and satisfying. Prices are reasonable and every employee I've ever encountered has always been friendly and helpful. Came on a Friday afternoon, 2 rounds, there is no parking lot....Bummer. Came on Sunday afternoon, 3 rounds, there is no parking lot again...Bummer. Came on Tuesday afternoon, lucky me. There are only 2 empty parking lots, one reserved for the liquor store and one tiny spots for me. Online ordering is tricky. They only allow you to buy Large size. You can order normal size tea in the store, but on the app? you have to buy size L. The store looks tiny and pretty packed from where I can see, so I'll still buy it online. -++ Strawberry breeze : 25% sugar is overly sweetened. It's like drinking candy. Love the fruit meat and Lychee jelly. --- Matcha latte 25% sugar. It's like drinking overly sweetened milk with a bit of matcha flavor. A very solid boba spot! I'm not the biggest boba fan in the world, but I'm always very open to trying new places. The interior here is adorable. I visited in late November and it was decked out in cute Christmas decorations, and there was ample seating on a weekday evening. I'm pretty picky about my drinks, since I'm lactose intolerant and can't handle caffeine in the evening, so I asked a lot of questions and the staff members answered them with ease. I ended up getting the Dirty Boba and though I was concerned it would be too sweet even at the minimum sweetness (50%) it was perfect. Love that they have milk substitution options. I usually order the creme brûlée dirty boba here when I'm feeling something without caffeine. Their brown sugar boba is just the right amount of chewy and sweet. In general their drinks are on the sweeter side so would recommend less sweet if possible. My family also got the original milk tea at 75% sweetness, which was extra creamy with the perfect balance of milk to tea ratio! Next on my list to try here is their rose oolong milk tea. read more

Decided to try this tea chain since seeing the high reviews on Yelp, although many of the boba chains are highly overrated. When we got there, the line was pretty long but moved at a decent rate, people were social distanced in line. However the parking lot for this plaza is really small and hard to find a spot. Moving on to the boba, if you like dessert boba then you'd enjoy this place but both drinks we ordered at 50% sweet and they were still very sugary. We ordered the creme brûlée dirty boba without boba and the mango breeze. We wanted to try the dragonfruit drink but they had already ran out for the day and we were there around 7pm. The creme brûlée definitely tasted like drinking a dessert but it didn't really seem toasted on top like I've seen in photos from other locations. The mango breeze tasted like a mango smoothie. Depending on your definition of a "boba" drink, from the two we had this wouldn't be my first pick for boba tea. Maybe their regular milk teas and fruit teas aren't as sweet, but probably wouldn't make the trip out to this location to try their other drinks because the parking situation nor the line is worth it based on what we already tried. read more

We use non-dairy creamer for milk teas! We also have almond milk and oatly available for milk alternatives as well!
When is the best time to come in if I want to try their desserts? I always hear about how they run out fast.
Go as early as possible. They do run out fast. I'd say go when they open to get one for sure.

Open Every Day From 11am - 9pm. Except For Fridays & Saturdays they close later at 10pm.
Will this location have durian milk foam in the future like their Bay Area locations?
