Maybe this is the wave of the future but yuck to ordering with QR codes, yuck to having no ice at a restaurant, yuck to having to hunt or flag down someone because no one will check on you. Got a salad with raw sweet potatoes. They did take it off the bill but it was super hard to get staff's attention and had to ask multiple times. Really felt like they purposely didn't make eye contact, kept eyes on the floor as they passed by. So bad it was almost humorous. Hard to imagine staff making tips. I'm guessing with such lack luster customers service they have way fewer employees and hopefully they make more of a hourly wage. The pizza was good which is why they get 3 stars

I've always liked this location.Im not always the best planner and most of my visits to Fieldwork Brewing Company have come when I want to eat at either Paesanos or Zocalos, both are located nearby. So when I fail to make a reservation,Fieldwork historically has been a great spot to enjoy a great beer while waiting for a table. This particular trip was a bit different as we were out bar hopping doing some day drinking and we decided to stop by here for a quick beer. Fieldwork beer can be called many things, but I will always say it's a high quality, reliable beer-I've never had a beer here over the years that I didn't enjoy and today was no different. Today we decided to go with 2 beers-We had a Heezer($8.50) which is a Hefeweizen at 5.4% ABV and a West Coast Slang($8.50) which is a West Coast IPA at 7.0% ABV. I didn't love the Heezer but I'm also not much of a Hefeweizen type of guy. The West Coast Slang though was pretty awesome and went down super smooth, especially for an IPA.I would definitely order this again. As far as the seating situation, they have both outdoor seating, which is where we sat and a lot of indoor seating with their expanded 2nd indoor dining room that has a pretty large capacity. Parking is 100% street parking,it's a very busy part of town with many popular restaurants located nearby,so be prepared to not park close. I hear the food here is excellent but we honestly just showed up for a quick drink,so I will have to review the food at a later date. What I can say about this place is that through my many visits, the staff has always been great, very friendly and attentive, the place has always been very clean and the customers who frequent this establishment always seem to be in a fun festive mood. It's a pretty fun place.

Have now been here a few times with friends and coworkers, and I think it's a great spot for a casual hangout! They have a nice selection of beers, ciders, and slushies. This most recent time I came, my friend and I tried their rose slushie and it was delicious. They have lots of seating inside and a cute outdoor area under the shade. The food is also quite tasty here, I've had their pizza which was really cheesy and perfect for sharing. The staff have also always been nice and helpful. Will definitely come back to try more of their menu.

Haven't been to Fieldwork in a few years and was craving beer and pizza with this surprisingly great weather, so we had to stop in. Service was excellent. Everyone was super friendly and laid back. You can order at the tap or grab a seat and order via QR, which is awesome. Plenty of seating, spacious, good vibes, and they had Premier League on their massive TV. Beer was superb, kind of hard to review because I just love beer, man. We started with the shishito peppers, which were great and came with a really memorable miso aioli that was very addictive with a hint of lemon. We also got the "Fun Guy" pizza to share and made the mistake of removing the goat cheese, which I think hurt it. The crust was excellent and the toppings were fresh, but it felt like it was missing that salty, funky balance the goat cheese would've added. Still very good, but that one's on me. I'd definitely get it as intended next time. One of my favorite breweries, especially with so many having closed over the past few years. Cheers to them.

I heard Fieldwork Brewing Company had the best hazy IPA so I had to come try it. We came on a rainy afternoon and the taproom was not too busy. There is a QR code to scan for the menu and you also order from your phone. We got the sampler to try different flavors. There were three sours on tap so we tried all three. The Rainbow Parfait was sweet and tasted like rainbow sherbet. The Jelly Packet had strawberry, grape, and orange flavors. It was probably the best of the three. Aloha Vibes had a tropical flavor and you can taste the coconut flavor in the drink. The three sours were all good, but I not the best sours I've tried. They weren't too strong either. Fieldwork's Hazy IPA, the Pulp, was really good! Probably the best hazy I've tried. It had a taste of orange, which was really good. I'm not even a IPA drinker, but liked this drink. The Mo Pulp is the DDH IPA (double dry hop) and tasted similar to Pulp, but had a slightly different aftertaste. I personally liked the Pulp better. The Don Picante (a chipotle smoked porter) was a bit dark and spicy. Fieldwork served fried pickle spears, which was interesting to try. On the piece I had, the batter wasn't too crispy. We also ordered the hot pretzel, which I didn't get to try, but must have been good because it was eaten up. Fieldwork has expanded their taproom since they first opened and now offers food from their own kitchen. The taproom is casual and comfortable for a hang out. The flight of 6 was $18 the flight of three was $9. Good brewing company in Midtown Sacramento.

Great place for drinks and pizza after work! They have a special on Tuesdays where you get a pizza and two beers for $30. Parking can be hard to find depending on the time of day, so expect to find a meter along the side streets. The vibe is very chill as you scan the QR code on whatever table you want and the staff bring your order to you. Plenty of seats inside and outside. The staff was great about checking on us throughout our time there. Highly recommend the Fieldwork root beer, the Adrianne (Belgian beer) and the Giant Lands Double IPA. Get the pizza extra crispy!

Fieldwork Brewing is hands down one of my favorite spots for craft beer. They are incredibly consistent across styles, and if you truly enjoy beer, I'd strongly argue it would be hard to find something here you don't like. Whether it's IPAs, lagers, or more creative offerings, everything is well executed and thoughtfully made. They brew one of my all time favorites, Coconut Milk. The pizza here is fabulous and has always been legit. It's consistently well made and pairs perfectly with the beer, making this an easy place to settle in for a while with friends. Between the consistently excellent beer, great food, and relaxed vibe. If you're looking for one of the better beer experiences in Sacramento with consistently good brews, great pizza, and good atmosphere, Fieldwork is absolutely worth a visit.

Great beer, friendly staff, and an awesome vibe. Love that they have tons of seating both inside and out.

I've been to Fieldwork so many times at their Berkeley, San Leandro, San Mateo, and Napa locations. But this was my first time visiting the Sacramento location. I hada flight, and they all tasted really good. This location has a really large space, and they have a kitchen. The only downside was the wait time. It was quite long, even though there were not many customers at the time. There were only two staff members pouring the drinks.

Fieldwork offers a wide variety of beers, good appetizers, and a tasty salad. The outdoor seating was a bit hard to navigate in that people were claiming tables that nobody had been sitting at, so we had to move despite nobody sitting their when we had arrived, I liked the speed of the service. The food was good and fresh.

    An IPA flight.

This was a fun brewery to check out in downtown Sacramento. So many beer options and pizza. You order at the counter or you could also order at your table. Their IPAs weren't as bitter as I prefer but they did have a good selection. And you can sample several with their flights. We also got a pretzel with beer cheese. Which you can never go wrong with. The pretzel was a decent size and was very warm and soft.

This little spot was the perfect spot for a quick lunch (and a pint) on my recent visit to Sacramento. It's located in a nice part of downtown, with plenty of paid street parking nearby. I snagged a spot on their outdoor patio and ordered a cold pint of blonde ale while I waited for my delish mushroom pizza to arrive. It was so delicious! My biggest regret was I couldn't take the leftovers with me as I had meetings to attend and knew it wouldn't do well sitting in the back of my rental car on a hot summer day. [insert sad face] The beer was delish, too. It was cold and crisp, perfect for the sunny weather. And the service was spot on, too! My only "hmmmm" is I'm not the biggest fan of ordering via an app at a full service restaurant. Seemed weird to go inside to get my beer tastes from the beertender, then have to return to my table to order what I liked.

Been going to Fieldwork over the years and I can absolutely say this is a must-go-to spot for brews and pizza. This place continues to evolve for the better, including their brews, food ans atmosphere! I wanna give a special shout out to Kim & Josh who I've come across multiple times. They are just so welcoming and kind, and treat my wife & I with the upmost respect. Their energy and passion for beer is contagious and I'm always learning something new after chatting with them! You'll be lucky to have them serving you when you visit. I just can't say enough good things about this place. If you enjoy drinking with friends or just wanna spend your afternoon drinking a cold out on the patio, this is a top-tier brewery to visit in mid-town!

The cheese pizza here is great; it's topped with dollops of ricotta and ribbons of fresh basil. They have a daily special: the Dino slice, which I'll often get as well. Sometimes the toppings are fun (e.g. pickles) and other times more run-of-the-mill (e.g. salami, bell peppers, etc) but I've never been disappointed even when I thought the flavors would be odd. They used to be pretty good about posting on Instagram what was on the Dino slice was, but I don't see it quite as often these days. If you're into saucing up your pizza, you can get ranch or hot honey or Dino sauce. It's been a while since I had the Dino sauce, but I recall it being tangy and cilantro-y with a bit of a spice kick. It sounds a bit different/odd, but I like getting it from time to time. The Dino eggs, from my recollection, are basically pizza dough balls. Mostly bread, which is fine since their bread/pizza crust is great, but I'd rather just stick to the pizza, so I only tried these once. The fries are good. Though, I probably wouldn't order them alongside the pizza unless you're looking for a carb bomb of a meal (which is what I had done the one time I ordered them). They're probably best if you're just looking for a snack to go with your beer & aren't planning on eating a whole bunch of pizza. They're quite good though. Nice and crispy. And it's a pretty big serving size. They have a dozen or so taps of various beers. Some local, some not. And they have a selection of cans and bottles as well. There isn't a ton of inside seating. A half dozen or so tables? And a few bar seats. There's probably more total seats in front and in the outside side patio. There's only street parking & there's lots of small shops nearby, so you might have to take a short walk from your car to get there.

There was SO MUCH pepperoni so get this if that's your thing. The crust and the bread on all of these pizzas was the star.
