    Barbecuban w/garden salad
    Serena M.

We came in to Reno Public Market for there Celtic Night for Art Town and had decided it was time to try Fifty Fifty Brewing. It was quite the pleasure to meet the chef Alex and get his recommendation on dishes. So we went with the Cowboy Roast Beef and the Barbecuban, the garden salad with them was delightful. Tried the Donnor Party Porter, really nice accompaniment.

The new Fifty Fifty Brewing in the RPM is certainly interesting, but I am not sure I'm sold on it quite yet. Visiting for lunch on a Saturday before an Aces game. We were intrigued by the weekend happy hour deals, and I am a big fan of Fifty Fifty's location in Truckee. This location is not as vibey as the Truckee location. No outdoor seating or idyllic mountain views here. Loud music pumps in from the open-air space that is RPM, and the decor seemed very unlike the other location- much more formal. This would be a great place to grab beers, as it offers more of a bar atmosphere and less of a restaurant, though it still offers a full menu with full-service dining. Onto the food- we ordered the turkey club wrap with the pesto potato salad, the happy hour sausage platter, the happy hour sliders, and the tuna sandwich. I also tried their hop water, which was refreshing but light on the hop flavor. I love that they offer an NA choice, though! The happy hour sliders are great. They are priced great, are absolutely delicious, and the portion size is large for a happy hour-priced snack. The sausage platter was absolutely disappointing. Overcooked sausage, lack of flavor, and almost nothing on the plate. Served with a side of warm and oily arugula. Disgusting. Do not order this. Not worth the money or calories. The club wrap was ok. The portion size was fine, but there was nothing special going on here. Very bland and plain club wrap. The pesto potato salad was weird. I liked it, but it wasn't really potato salad. It was cold roasted potatoes with pesto and pine nuts. The tuna sandwich was ok. It had a super lemony flavor that overpowered the whole dish. The portion size was average. Overall, the food at this Fifty Fifty was a let-down. I think my next visit will focus exclusively on their BBQ meat menu items, as the sliders were the only great thing we ate. I think for now, this location is great for beers, but there are far better food options in and around RPM.

Revisiting as a semi-regular... Staff is FANTASTIC; starting with the BeerTender who is always willing to converse about the house-made brews (still coming from the original brewhouse in Truckee...the tanks belie the FACT that their beers will be brewed here, soon) Simi was our engaged server who conversed WITH our group readily and was more than willing to bring a healthy taster to the uncertain. Beers were fantastic variety, personally I veered away from my usual IPA and opted for the Belgian Quad...good decision. Although I gave five stars, the happy hour personal cheese boards were stacked well with salad greens and cheeses but no olives or nuts were on either of the two orders of this. Sliders were great!

Delicious!!! Some great food and great atmosphere! Compliments to the Chef, Alex you've killed it man! Food and beer Menu are great, atmosphere is awesome. If you're in Reno check it, you will not be disappointed!

Weird... I do not see my review for your company at your Truckee location...? Was my last visit pre-Yelp life? Quality/Quantity - Attended the amazing Patagonia Event last night where you were one of the sponsors, thank you. Art (your awesome team member) told us that you are having your Grand Opening here today, so of course we came to support. Congrats. Sorry it took you 6 years to open!!! Finally, I am so happy for you all. We were one of the few customers that came today for lunch. Fully staffed/overstaffed for the grand/soft opening. Nothing fancy, which surprised me. I was hoping for giveaways, more excitement, free beer, etc. Anyway, we came here to support! Today we got the Cowboy Ribeye Sandwich - My wife thought it was small for the price, but I felt it had generous meat. Decent quantity of chips, but they were slightly over seasoned. I enjoyed the sandwich and as a light eater, it was more than enough food for me. Well, if you know me, I drink more than I eat, lol. And I had more Storm Chaser Lager! Last night, I think I had too much. :) Due to it being the first day, there were limited beers and food options, but I am used to that for day-one businesses. And I do not hold that against them because it took them 6 years to open! Ambiance - Cool new space. Bar, table, counter table, and lounge seating. The restrooms are the public mall restrooms, right outside the side door. Service - Gary (the name I thought I heard) or Garrett (name on receipt) was great. Professional, excited to be part of this brand. I also met Nick the GM who was also super friendly and professional. He was making his rounds introducing himself to the few customers here so far. Price - $32 + generous tip!! Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success and with your 3 locations (Mammoth location opening soon in the fall of 2026). I hope you can get your kitchen up and running.

Bryan, our server, was fantastic. Open since March 2026 we were excited for this location to finally be open. Some similar menus and beers from the Tahoe location. Great food options including smoked meat to meet the local challenges. The beer was excellent the nachos and the burnt ends fantastic. We had the bread pudding which was delicious as well. When we arrived closer to 6pm there was no wait and plenty of space to sit. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back.

I'm so happy this is here now! Definitely a new gem for RPM. Our bartender Kegan was 10/10 service!!!

New to the RPM. Plenty of room and seating. Four large flat screens. Good selection of craft beers and full bar. Menu of typical bar food and decent portions. Friendly staff and well maintained.

Popped into 50/50 for a quick bite at the Reno Public Market. It was a packed Saturday night but had no problem grabbing a couch then 4-top table. Super fast service from fun and friendly staff that took our order. Salmon salad was exactly what we needed; light and delicious with a well-portioned serving of salmon, perfectly cooked, on a bed of lightly dressed baby spinach, cucumber, edamame, and carrots. Delicious! Will definitely come back for more. Lots of good food and beverage options in a fun, casual atmosphere.

FiftyFifty Brewing Company in Reno in Plumb lane was a great experience from start to finish. We came during happy hour (which they offer every day from 2-5), and everything we ordered was excellent. The sliders were amazing--super flavorful. We tried one beef and one pork, and the beef was definitely my favorite. We also had the ceviche tostadas, which had just the right touch of spice and were incredibly fresh and delicious. Everything was well balanced and full of flavor. The atmosphere is super relaxing with a great vibe--perfect for hanging out and enjoying a meal without feeling rushed. A big shoutout to our server, Adam, who took great care of us and made the experience even better. Great food, great service, and a great environment. We'll definitely be back.

    The brisket sandwich was okay
    Mike H.

The service was good and our server was attentive. He forgot our warm potato salad which sounded interesting at first and originally drew me here. I have never tasted a more foul potato salad in my life. It tasted like it was soaked in a very barely forward beer and heated up to an uncomfortable temperature. The brisket sandwich was okay and the picked veggies were very salty. Beer was good. The venue is loud, especially when they are doing karaoke, which we didn't know about. I won't be back anytime soon.

Cut and pasted from their website: "Slieve means "A…read moreMountain" in Irish Gaelic, their family roots." Quality/Quantity - Been an extremely long stressful day! So I NEEDED a break from the day to just relax and stop thinking! I gave my wife a few options, a few breweries to choose from (or for me to just go alone, which she would not have let me drink and drive, especially all the way from North Reno). So she/we chose to go to Slieve as I have not been there yet. Actually, all 3 choices were breweries. The good news is that there are more and more new breweries opening. The bad news is that there are more and more good breweries closing, in ALL my hometowns... My first time in a nano brewery; cool. Today I got (and tried the following), all Slieve brands; support local: Oh, I did not know you had a happy hour M-F from 2-5pm; I just missed it by 13 minutes... Should not have spent so much time outside taking pictures for Yelp, lol. Pale Ale - Good, but I prefer more flavor. This is currently my second "go to" beer after reds. Jimbo Porter - Better, but then I tried the Cookie Monster! I also did not taste the coconut. Cookie Monster - My favorite of the beers, so much flavor. And I am NOT usually a sweet beer drinker. It was not an overwhelming stout, probably due to the sweetness, but you can definitely taste the chocolate and slightly coffee and caramel flavors. I would get this again, but it would always have to be my last beer due to the flavors. Beers that I need to come back for when available are: Your reds, IPAs and of course your "Trinity Tripel." Ambiance - On your "about" page on your website, it says you are still looking for a home for your brewery...? Is that accurate or does that page need to be updated? Cool space, indoor and outdoor seating. Bar and table seating. 2 bars, one the back, probably only used for events. Semi private room when you walk in. Ping pong, darts, games, cornhole, cool decor on walls throughout to read, etc. Open 7 days a week, see their website. Yelp's hours/days differ slightly. Event spaces are available; see their website.. Service - Good. We were also greeted by Shannon when she and Phillip came in later for a drink or two... Phillip was too busy drinking to say hi, lol. Price - $8 a beer. The typical cost for good craft beer. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2022 with your nanobrewery; I wish you the best and am glad you own the building to help you weather some "storms."

It was fun to sample Girl Scout cookies and taste beer. We started with 6 tastings but they threw in a couple extra. The event was well organized and the Girl Scouts were there to sell their cookies. I was a Girl Scout 50 years ago. I think a box of cookies was $1.00 - $1.25. I paid $7. Times have certainty changed.
