I stumbled upon this place during the international fair so I'm not sure that the service I received was typically the type of service I would get during a regular visit. I just happened to be in the area and was craving something sweet and savory. It was a split second decision but once I saw this place, I knew we had to try it. I love the ice cream at Filo and have wanted to try their knafeh since the first time we visited. After lunch today we walked over and got one to share. We had never had knafeh before, and weren't sure exactly what to expect since it's a cheesy dessert. We were VERY impressed and will come back for it again! It's a crispy, flakey dough, with a mild, somewhat salty, stringy cheese inside, covered with simple syrup and pistachios. LOVED IT. Since we were pretty full from lunch, we only ate half and took the rest home. The guy who helped us said to reheat it in the oven for a few minutes. We happened to be in the area and stopped by here for dessert. The interior here is quite nice and feels pretty new here. I wasn't too familiar with turkish style ice cream, but it seems like the most popular ice cream to get here is the Lemon Mint. I tried it and it was acutally reallyyyy sweet. There was only one person working behind the counter, so I'm glad there wasn't a line when I came in.
