I have been a toyota person since 2004. I was looking for compact SUV. I reasearched and decided to look at Toyota, Kia, and Mazda. Findlay Mazada was my last stop. I was impressed from the time I walked in the door, not your typical showroiom, very up scale. I had an appointment with Garth. We had communicated several times via email and text previous to my visit. From our discussion I decided on the CX 30 premium. The car was ready for test drive and inspection when I arrived. Garth went through all the options, answered my questions before I took the car for a drive. When I returned we talked money. I was trading a 2017 Corolla and wanted a price out the door. I had researched previously and I had a good idea of a fair price w/o trade or money down. Garth left and came back with the sales manager,Mark and I thought here were go. The price was okay but I thought the trade was too low. Mark left came back with a much better trade offer. I told him before I could commit I had to come back with my wife. To my surprise he said fine. I left by the time I got home Garth had texted and asked when I might be back. Went back two days later with my wife. Drove the car again and talked more with Garth, my wife was concerned about the room in the back and the cargo space. We left w/o a decision, but again to my surprise no pressure. I text Garth that night and told him the car was just small what could he suggest. He got back to me immediately said the CX 5. He had one the same color with almost identical options with a few exceptions. To my surprise the larger car was cheaper, bigger, and handled better. We now own a 2023 CX 5 with lots of options. This the best dealership I have ever dealt with. If you are looking for no pressure friendly and honest place to buy a car Findlay Mazada in Henderson is the place to go. We recently had a horrible experience which started with a simple oil change. The first that went wrong was my appointment was booked for the wrong day, I asked for a Friday and it was booked for a Thursday. I can say that they accommodated us and said they would be able to see us anyways. I had also asked the receptionist who made our appointment if she could check to see how many complimentary oil changes we received when we first purchased the vehicle, she didn't check but said that it was normally 2. We've only had 1 previous oil change so I assumed this one would be complimentary too. Cody Jamero helped us in our check in process and he quoted us on how much the estimated price would be for the oil change, I advised him of what the receptionist told me about the complimentary oil change. He checked for us and did confirm that we only received 1 when we purchased the car, and I told him that the receptionist gave us false information over the phone. Cody did state that he would give us a $10 discount for the false information that was given to us. When our vehicle was finished Cody said that he gave us $20 dollars off instead of the $10 which we appreciated. We left the dealership and jumped on the freeway when we immediately started to hear a weird noise. I pulled over and we got out of the car to check to see if we could locate the noise, we didn't notice anything visibly wrong with the car so we decided to keep going. The noise started to get louder as we drove so we decided to get off the freeway and make our way back to the dealership. As we got back on the freeway we heard a loud boom noise and I immediately pulled over again. We got off the car and once again checked around the car and under the car and that is when we noticed that part of the splash guard had fallen off and was now on the floor. I called the dealership and explained the situation, even though we were only 1 exit away I did not know if I could still drive the car without further damaging it. The receptionist told me she was going to check with service people in the back and ask them if I would still be able to drive the car. She came back and stated that they told her I could still drive the car this way and gave me this story about how she once drove her car like that for 2 days and how she once had the same car that we do. We drove the car back and when we got to the dealership they told us that the service manager Jag Jagdev would also be coming in to look at the car. When Jag arrived and called us over to discuss what happened the first thing that came out of his mouth was did we watch the video. He never once asked us what happened or what did we hear, he kept asking us if we watched the video. I told him that no I did not have a chance to watch the video and what does that have to do with anything, at that point he said I am going to show you and had Cody play the video of our car. After he played the video he said what I think what happened is you hit something and that is the reason the splash guard fell. Like i previously stated not once did he EVER bother to ask us our side of the story to see what happened. He said that upon looking under the car he can see that the splash guard was very damaged, I said of course it's really damaged cause I was told by your receptionist that it was okay for me to drive my car back in the condition that it was. He said that the only thing he could do is remove it and that we would have to replace it, he was not going to pay for it to be replaced. I did not want to continue arguing and going back and forth with him so we walked away and he said they would be back with our car. When Cody returned with our car without Jag he never came back in Cody simply said we are going to order the part and replace it for you, your keys are in the cup holder. I never got an apology from anyone. I sent the video to my brother who is a mechanic and by the pictures you can see that the work was not done accurately. read more

I've been a loyal customer at this location since 8 months ago because they always win me over with their outstanding customer service. This particular one is a shout out to my guy CHARLIE who took care of me from start to finish. Had to take my car in because my AC was about to die on me. And we definitely cannot live without it here in Vegas. Lol. He set me up with a loaner vehicle even though there weren't any available. I hate leaving bad reviews, and I hate being an asshole unless it's necessary. This is one of those times. My sister in law recommended Findlay Mazda to us after purchasing her vehicles from there. So I took my partner over and he ended up purchasing a 2016 Civic with 56k miles back in February of this year. It appeared to be in good shape, ran well, no major issues. The sales department seemed to be top notch, and the sale itself was pretty quick and easy. We didn't have any issues with the car until June, when the check engine light came on along with some other warning lights. The car would go into a limp mode and wouldn't drive past 15mph. Since the extended warranty was purchased, we took it to Findlay Mazda (their finance manager stated that it can only be brought to a Mazda dealership for warranty claims). The first visit, they claimed the spark plugs were bad, causing the third cylinder ti misfire. Ok, so we pay $430 to change the spark plugs. That didn't fix the issue. Took it back, and they took it upon themselves to do major repairs on a car they aren't trained on and replaced the fuel injectors. That fix didn't work. Instead, the car would start overheating in addition to the misfire. We took it back to the service department, where they finally decided to send it to Findlay Honda. Keep in mind, up until they sent it to Honda, they straight up refused to give us a loaner car leaving my partner with zero transportation during the time the car was in Mazda's possession. They did, however, do one thing right and refund the amount that we paid for the spark plug replacement that was not needed. Once the car got over to Honda, their techs said coolant was leaking into the cylinders, causing the misfire. The whole engine needs to be replaced but the engine block is on back order until October 6th, and that's not including the time to ship and install. The car won't be ready until late October - early November at the earliest. Findlay Honda provided a loaner car but won't cover any more days, leaving him without any transportation to/from work. We got all of the service records from Findlay Mazda, including from when they first got the car as a trade in. Those records state that the car had a check engine light before we purchased it, and that light was related to the o2 sensor. The service records state that the wiring for the sensor was bad, so they replaced the sensor. The same bad wiring shorted the new sensor, so I'm assuming they just put back the old one. The records show that no wiring was replaced and that they received a credit for the replacement o2 sensor. A bad o2 sensor will most likely cause a misfire. This wasn't even disclosed to us when the car was purchased. We just found out about this today. When we went to the dealership, we were met by an arrogant and rude sales manager that had little to no interest in helping us. He rudely threw his business card on the table at us, and didn't really care to hear about the problem or offer even an apology. All he would do is defend the dealership. By the way, I need the SERVICE manager, not the SALES manager. Go sell some cars and let service handle this. Right before we left, this guy was huddled up with his coworkers talking a bunch of BS about us. He was trying to be quiet about it but he didn't do much of a good job. If you're going to talk bad about your customers, at least be quiet about it. One more thing to note, my sister in law just purchased a new car last week. She was going to purchase a CX-5 from Findlay after purchasing a new Mazda 6 here a few years ago. She had a pretty shitty experience with their sales team when trying to buy her CX-5. She ended up going to another dealership. Her and myself will not be recommending this dealership or any Findlay dealership for sales or service. I will say, one person that I did have a good interaction with here is Janice the receptionist. She was outstanding in helping us out as much as she could with this issue. read more

Service failure. I have used,Findlay Mazda before, however, this past experience was an abomination and disappointment. I had an 8:3o am appointment for battery issues and a 10k service. However, I could not start my vehicle, so I attempted to call the service department for guidance. I my calls were transferred to the service department, the phone was picked up, I could hear someone talking, I kept saying hello, then they hung up. I attempted several more time, again a hang up. AMAZING SERVICE! If you are interested in buying a Mazda, definitely go here and ask for Paul. He is extremely helpful with a great sense of humor too. Unlike your typical salesman, Paul did not pressure us into making a deal the first day we went, and made us feel extremely comfortable. I can't say the same for Toyota right across the street, where the salesman tried to push us into buying a car within the first 5 minutes of talking to him. We wanted a specific model and color, but were told that they sold their last one. However, with such great customer service, they asked around and drove up to another dealership up north to pick up the exact model we were looking for. That same night we drove off in our new car! All the staff at this dealership are super friendly, approachable, and aren't nagging you or trying to shove a deal down your throat. Their waiting area is very clean with a good selection of snacks, free water bottles, and a very nice coffee machine too to keep you awake. This has been one of the best auto experiences I've had. I bought my car new in June and now just brought it back to service for my free first oil Change. Every single person from my salesperson, John Williams, to the staff in service went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I love my car: it's cute, affordable and reliable. The only wish I had about Mazda is more comfortable seats. Lexus takes the cake on that but overall I'll keep buying Mazda's for the value and service.
