They told me I had to file my own police report. The other driver didn't want to show me their ID or insurance info until I threatened to report them as a hit and run. I filed my report online, but the other driver didn't, so that delayed things with their insurance company. The other guys insurance company tried to steer me to their own list of shops. But I already knew better than that. They didn't offer any discounts. Fine Line offered me a big discount and also found me a rental car for what the insurance was willing to pay. When I checked into some of the car rental places, they were going to charge $25 a day more than insurance was paying for. My car is fixed now and looks like it was never hit. Take your car here if you want it fixed right and want a discount. read more

I took my vehicle to Fine Line Body Shop after I was rear-ended in an accident that was completely the other driver's fault. Both parties had insurance, and my navigation system was working perfectly before the accident. After the repairs were completed and my vehicle was returned to me, my navigation system no longer worked. The insurance company issued payment related to the repairs, yet Fine Line Body Shop refused to fix the navigation issue. As a customer, this is frustrating because I did not cause the accident, and I should not have to pay out of pocket for damage that happened because of it. If a business is being compensated through insurance for accident-related repairs, then everything damaged in the accident should be properly repaired and returned in working condition. I expected better customer service and accountability. Unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed. read more

Lewis Center Fine Line will treat you right. They made things easy too. After researching a few places (in person), I took my vehicle there. My car needed a new hood, front bumper, quarter panel and more. The staff at Fine Line was friendly and professional. I dropped my car off. They took care of the rest. They called the rental car company to pick me up. They worked with my insurance company and kept me informed. When the adjuster was done with his part, Fine Line called me to let me know and gave me an estimated date of completion for the repairs. The repairs to my car took just under two weeks and finished ahead of schedule. When they were done, it looked like the damage never even happened. I was even happier when they told me that my deductible was covered and the repairs and paint would be guaranteed for life. Thank you, Fine Line! :-) read more

The Alum Creek location did not communicate well, and they benefitted from those miscommunications at my expense. They got me to sign a paper by verbally saying something different from the fine print, towed my car/started repairs without communicating, dishonored a checkbox I checked on the paper requesting a written estimate before starting repairs, and finally, threatened to charge me for holding my car for 3 days when repairs were finished after previously telling me I'd have 3 days to pick up my car. Being in an accident is stressful enough, but I felt duped by the things Fine Line neglected to mention and ask. I never feel strongly enough about a company to write a review, but I am writing this with the hope that it will spare someone from the experiences I had. read more

Everything I feared could happen didn't happen. I was taken care of from beginning to end. All things promised I received and more. There were additional parts and work needed above the appraisers original estimate. The insurance company wouldn't pay out any more funds...Fine Line did the work at their expense to the tune of a couple hundred extra dollars. I've read the poor reviews and stuff happens, but if you go in with a poor attitude and lack of trust that's usually what you get back in return. Be real..they're a busy shop, they do their best for you. You have to work with folks wherever you go. I gave respect and got it back in return. I'm very pleased with the end result after a very unfortunate accident with my truck. read more

The service was great! The employees were very friendly and they took care of all my needs. For one, my deductible was covered and I didn't even need to take cash out of my pocket. They set up a rental for me, through a rental company called "speedy"; they were also very friendly through the whole process. It wasn't stressful at all, like mentioned in the other reviews. I understand that there are all type of different cases, but they seemed to take care of it very well. I have met some customers who took their car into this shop also, and they seemed very pleased with the service as well. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family. read more

I used to be in the automotive business so I definitely know what good body work is when I see it. First of all, they are all about pleasing the customer and not the insurance company like other body shops. I was involved in a big accident and had a lot of side damage. My door was completely smashed in and glass was shattered all over the place. After I got my car back, the side never even looked like it was hit. The paint was matched perfectly (and trust me, I inspected it very closely.) The glass was perfectly done and the whole mess was cleaned up with no pieces of glass left anywhere. I must say after reading the reviews I was really skeptical on taking my car there. After speaking to the Manager, Shaun, he explained how things work and I do understand how the prior reviews could easily be misunderstood. In my opinion they were fantastic. They saved me $300 of my $500 deductible and the paint match on my door looks great. I am happy and recommend everyone that wants a fantastic job done at little to no cost out of pocket expense take your car there. P.S. my insurance is State Farm and they were really easy to wok with also. Def worth checking out!!!! read more

Alum creek location was amazing and went above and beyond. We took in our car after someone else hit it and took off so we had to pay out of pocket they had car done in no time got a good deal on a rental n process when we purchased the car there was scratches pretty deep on back bumper and Victoria mentioned taking care of it for us when it was there when we picked car up, she had forgot so we mentioned it to her, she got car right in and set us up in a rental all done at fine lines expenses. I went to Fine Line on Alum Creek, Sean is the man! Our Van looks amazing and he did over $5000 worth of damage repairs. He waived our deductible, made my wife happy and it looks great. A friend told us about them and that she had the same experience. Just passing this along, they are fantastic and they really do help out. Wow great shop to work with. Shawn the manager was so helpful and is a very friendly guy. Right when I walked in he assisted me and got me taken care off. Dropped my car off the same day and got it back a little over a week later. Great body work and paint job was done well. I told a buddy of mine about it and I ended up getting a $50 dollar check for the referral also. Such a great company to work with I recommend them to anyone anyday! read more

Very pleasant experience. Wonderful staff that are very polite. They covered the cost of my deductible and did beautiful repair work. Also, they issued me a lifetime warranty on the work they did. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience with them. I hate the manager here , he flipped and make me pay more than what he he told me from beginning , when you come here you need to write down every single details and prices in your conversation with him , they always say cover 500 $ deductible but the end they will minus only 20% , it's mean you only covered 200$ from them . First of all, only reason I took my car there was because i heard the annoying but very catchy radio add on WNCI. I took my cobalt there and got my front bumper and my front lamps replaced. The general manager I dealt with was very professional and broke everything down to me in detail so I understood the whole process. I drove away very satisfied, but I suggest they change that annoying jingle. :) read more

As Yelp says it "Woohoo". These guys fixed my Honda Accord in 2 DAYS! The quickest service ever. I had a car back up into me breaking the front bumper and the hood. They did everything very nice. I was worried about the "Midnight blue" color match - but these guys know what they are doing. I'll be going back for all my car repair needs in the future. You MUST see them. read more

The entire Fine Line company is a scam. Read the reviews of the other customers. Look at the fees they charge when they don't even work on the car. $350 admission fee just for the car to be on their premises. They charge for scanning the car's computer even when they don't do any work on it (on obvious total losses). There work is terrible too. AVOID AVOID AVOID! read more
