While the atmosphere is good, the food is terrible. My burger (ordered medium) came burnt beyond recognition and extremely dry. My wife's chicken salad was also bad - something gritty (the ground up croutons or cotija cheese?) was in the salad and the dressing was blah. Finney's Crafthouse is located at the Camarillo Outlets. It's closest main street is Las Posas Road and it's right next to Cracker Barrel. It seems like a popular place, as it usually looks busy when driving by. Checked in at the front & it's a 30 minute wait on a Friday around 7pm. They ask for a phone number, so they will text you when you're ready to get seated... Everyone who was waiting, was either standing around at the front entrance or sitting inside on some benches. We found some patio seating while waiting, which was cute with a fire pit. Lea was our exceptional waitress tonight, 5/5. Lea was Friendly, Attentive & suggested some good choices. Also, Love her name Lols. What we Ordered: Guava Marg - I enjoyed this, would get it again Finney's Light Beer - Like it sounds, light but good Coconut Shrimp - Shrimp was good. The sauce it comes with, compliments it well. Prime Rib Cheesesteak - Cheesesteak tasted good. It comes thinly sliced w/ jack, peppers, onions & horseradish aioli on a telera roll. Peggy's Crispy Chicken - It was good. Comes with Pepper Jack, Fresno chilis, tomato, slaw & spicy aioli on a potato bun. Basket of Sweet Potato Fries - Fries were just okay. Maybe because they didn't arrive warm & needed to be drenched in sauce. Entrees came with house chips, which I didn't know it came with it. They were thick & crunchy, yum! Would I go back? Great lunch spot but get there before 12pm as it does get packed. it is really busy in the evening also, only issue is they tend to play the music really loud which raises everyone's voices to hear each other. However good food and good service! read more

Recommended some friends to meet here for dinner. We were all coming from a conference, a little tired, and definitely ready for a great meal. When we put our name in, they said 45mins...we decided to wait. We checked in with the front t and they said that there's 3 games on, so many tables are here to watch the game and we can't ask them to close out. Several parties that's have been there for a couple of hours already, done eating, but wanted to occupy the table to watch a game while there's parties of people waiting to get a table....and you can't professionally inform them that they were extremely busy that night and needed tables for their guests waiting??!?!? This review is strictly on service, the hostess stand and the front end. We never got a chance to eat here because, they kept giving our table away. It was very busy, we were told it was a decent wait. We were six people. Everyone that was waiting was either twos or threes. There was basketball, baseball, and hockey going on as the hostess explained to us. Every time we went up and asked where's our table? We started noticing that people that got there after us, who were parties of two and three, were getting their tables. What they weren't doing, was holding one table that emptied, and then putting another table next to it. That was about to empty. They either had no experience on how to navigate a party of six during a busy time, or they were nefarious. I don't think the latter was true. This review, is strictly for the management to course correct, teach and train how to properly seat a party of six during a busy time. I hope they get it worked out. The reviews on this place seems really good. I'm sure the food in service is good. If you like sports bars, this seems like a good spot. But if you're going to come at a busy time, and you're a party that's five or more, call ahead of time and make a reservation if they take one. read more

This is now my 4th Finney's location I've been at, and they never go wrong! This new location is beautiful and has a great open indoor area as well as two outdoor patios. Great to come on a date or with kids. The happy hour never misses! No matter what you order, you'll be sure to enjoy it - both food and drinks alike. Took the family here to try this place out. When we arrived there seemed to be more than adequate staffing and we decided to sit outside when being seated. We sat and waited some time for the waitstaff. When she finally arrived we placed our drink and food order and patiently waited. When the food came it was nice, warm and tasted good. The kiddos even liked all the food we ordered, that might be a first. However, that was the last time we saw our waitress until I requested the check. We wanted to try the desserts, some additional appetizers and order a refill on the drinks but I think we were forgotten about since we were outside. The prices were fair and the place seemed clean and tidy. I may try this place again but I am in no hurry to return. read more

Gal at the bar (w/o glasses) needs a major attitude adjustment. When I told her I had a wheat allergy and I asked about what beers don't have wheat, she arrogantly argued that I "needed to stick with hard alcohol and wine". I said no, and tried to explain the difference between people who need gluten-free/celiac (i.e. no barley malt) and those like me who simply cant do wheat. But no, she got annoyed even worse, never made eye contact after that and stormed out when her shift was over shortly after. Wow she might wanna look for a different line of work... there is no excuse for her behavior, attitude and clear lack of knowledge or willingness to learn or listen to her customer. she's clearly unhappy there and it shows . We didn't have the best experience at this location of Finney's on a Sunday afternoon. I've written up my notes, which I was going to send to them directly, since I didn't think everything needed to be direct to Yelp. Their website cut off comments at 500 characters! What?! The short version is that we found some of the food items overprices / under-valued. Might be a better experience at Happy Hour, perhaps. There were some cleanliness issues on the north side patio of note of which I wanted management to be aware. My Tri-Tip sandwich, while delicious, was extra heavy on unnecessary calories due to style of preparation, and the bread was falling apart. Don't usually have to eat a sandwich with a knife and fork, but that's what it turned into. Yes, it's a large, fun space. Would be great to watch games during football season as an alternative to a traditional sports bar. They have cornhole toss and Ping-Pong on the north artificial turf area, along with a firepit for cool evenings. Those can be fun for kids of all ages (well, keep the kids clear of the firepit!). I'm impressed with how far the business has come from our first visit to their Westlake Village restaurant, which is much smaller than this new venue. Looks like they have plans to expand further, too. Hopefully, they can slow down and tighten up some of the smaller details that make for a happy dining experience. read more

Finney's is a favorite of ours since moving out of state. When we come home, it's a must-do for us! I love their Cobb salad. Typically their Cobb salads are incredible - this one was a little on the dry side and the chicken was burnt to a crisp, so that would be my only complaint. We did ask for more ranch, which the server was extremely quick to get us. The outside area is fun and welcoming! If you have kids, it's a great place to sit and chat while they play games in the courtyard area. read more

After shopping at the outlets all morning we were starving. Finney's was the perfect choice. I didn't even know they have opened one here at the outlets but was very excited to have lunch here. The hostess that greeted us wasn't that welcoming but later on she changed her attitude. We were seated within twenty minutes. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Margarita flight and enjoyed every sip of the cold drink after a hot couple of hours walking. We love their Philly cheesesteak eggrolls and always order it at any Finney's location. We got a Cobb salad, hot chicken sliders and mahi magi tacos. All delicious and filling. The ambiance here is great. We chose indoor seating cause it was hot but the outdoor area was very appealing and would be a perfect spot for summer evenings. Next time we will plan a family dinner here after our shopping spree. Overall a great place to stop by when in the area and enjoy a glass of cold beer or margarita and delicious food. read more

Update: From Hot Mess to Impossible Success This is an update to my original review, which--let's be honest--read more like a Yelp crime report. Last time I came to Finney's, the hostess and waitress had the combined warmth of a DMV in July. It was bad. Like, "I'm never coming back unless I'm kidnapped and dragged here" bad. After that, they offered me a free meal. A bribe, really. Classic "come back and we'll pretend we like you" energy. But I refused. I cannot be bought... unless fries are involved, and even then, I'm still morally conflicted. Fast forward six months. I returned, this time willingly, with my girlfriend and daughter. I braced myself for disappointment--and instead got hit with hospitality like a warm hug from a golden retriever. The hostess smiled. The waitress was lovely. The food came out fast, and my Impossible Burger? Impossibly good. Like, "Did I just forgive everyone?" good. It was a complete 180. A spiritual cleanse. A redemption arc worthy of a Netflix docuseries. If this wasn't a one-time miracle, Finney's, you've officially won me back. Went on a Saturday afternoon and had a short wait but was sat within 10 minutes. Service was very quick and the food was great. I got the Moroccan salad and Peggy's spicy chicken sandwich to split. The salad is so refreshing and has lots of mixin's. The Sandwich was delicious. We got the sweet potato fries which comes with a horse radish sauce and its got a strong flavor but it is good. If you don't like horse radish, ranch would be a good alternative. Overall, Finneys - Camarillo is a great spot to have lunch or dinner when in the Camarillo area. read more

The best burgers anywhere! We've tried a few variations and wow, everything has been great. The carnitas nachos are always amazing. The service was great as always, all of the staff is great actually. You can check in with the mobile app if you remember to but even if you don't, we had 13 people ahead of us and were told it would be a 40 minute wait - not even close. We were seated in about 20-25 minutes. Whenever we don't know what we want we will always choose Finney's - you really can't go wrong here, there's something for everyone! read more

I've been here about two times now to the Camarillo location. The food is always really good and service is on point! Bar tenders are really nice and make the drinks fast! I went to the location in semi valley though and everything was way different, food was greasy and they put us at the tiniest table imaginable even though we had motorcycle helmets with us! I would post a 5 star for the Camarillo but a 2 star for the other location. Try the cauliflower app it's so good! read more

First time at the camarillo location with a friend to check out the new spot . Love the bar setup . We enjoyed our time here accept for the fact that one of the bartender lady was hovering over us and rushing us to finish one of our plates so she can pick it up. The bar was still full with people. They were still seating more people so I really don't understand why she felt the need to try to rush us out. I'm upset I didn't catch her name but she was rude. We also mentioned to her that we ordered the mushroom and truffle pizza (that I forgot to take a photo of ) didn't taste anything like truffle and her response was that it wasn't her job or expertise and she wouldn't know anything about that.
