I've written reviews about the other Finney's locations but apparently not this one. This was the 2nd Finney's I've visited over the years and I've never had a bad experience here. There is always great service, whether sitting on the patio or inside the bar area. The ambience is casual and the food has always been good. We have been wanting to try Finneys out and it did not disappoint! We got there and there was no wait to sit outside. Our waitress Camryn was awesome and helped us decide what to get. We got the poke nachos, Buffalo wings and margarita pizza. Everything was fresh and delicious! They had the laker game playing which was a plus. The outside chairs were not the most comfortable and the table was really small and couldn't hold all the food. The parking is also crazy and very busy and it can be hard to find a spot. I will definitely come back and try more items! read more

When my group of friends want to plan a meetup we usually end up here because food is good and drinks are great. The parking for this plaza is crazy but you'll eventually find a spot. The bartenders I've interacted with have always been great and the waiters also have a good attitude, they're running around especially when it's busy but do check up on you. read more

We really want to like Finneys- it's right by our house and has a cool atmosphere and patio. But it's overpriced mediocre food. My fiancée called it "expensive Chili's"... I'd honestly rather go to a cheaper chain. We spent $100 here for two drinks and 4 apps on our last visit. Onion ring "tower": taste 10/10 value 2/10: this was the best tasting thing we had, but 9 small onion rings for $12?! the taste was good but the tower was sad... and it's hard to mess up onion rings Poke nachos 2/10: it's mostly cold edamame? on wonton chips with the only flavor coming from a wasabi sauce. It's sprinkled with tasteless cubes of sad raw tuna. Definitely get the tiny overpriced poke tacos instead. Chicken waffle bites 7/10: tiny portions but decent flavor. I would expect more from 3 small chicken and waffle bites for $12. The flavor isn't justifying the price again Philly cheesesteak egg rolls 6/10: the egg rolls themselves were pretty good but I thought it was weird they came in a pool of sweet chili sauce? Add some cheese and ranch and these could have been awesome, I love sweet chili sauce but this didn't make sense to me. We've been there previously for happy hour and those prices can justify the flavor for a night out. The only thing we've ever loved was the pretzel, and the three one bite each poke tacos. read more

The wife and I stopped by for a late, mid-week lunch. Our friends really like this restaurant and recommended it. We were in the area, so we dropped in. They were "active", but not overly busy at 2:45'sh, and we were seated right away. Our server, Isaac, was friendly introduced himself, then asked if we wanted drinks or appetizers. Sue ordered one of their chardonnays, and I ordered one of their lighter beers. Both were good quality, and the beer was cold. My wife ordered the arugula flatbread pizza, recommended by our friend, and she really enjoyed it. The crust was thin and crispy, and had just the right amount of cheese, prosciutto and arugula. She ate more than half of it, finally set it aside and said she could keep on going, it was so good, but she had to stop. We took it home for my lunch tomorrow. I asked Isaac to help with a decision between the pastrami sandwich and the prime rib cheese melt. He nodded towards the melt, so that's what I did. Good decision...the meat was tender and flavorful, the cheese had good flavor and the horseradish aloe had just the right amount of kick. I ordered a side of onion rings. Somehow, they were delivered cold, which suggests that they are pre-made and frozen, then heated up. There is no way to get cold onion rings from a deep fryer. Isaac took them away and within a few minutes had hot ones delivered. They were good. Good drink, good food and good service makes for a good spot! Finney's has my recommendation, at least for a lunch spot. read more

I really like this new Finney's location. Prior to this newer Porter Ranch restaurant, I've eaten at the Ventura Finney's. The presentation looked great but the food was average. Everything I've ordered at Porter Ranch has looked and tasted great. They have a killer happy hour; great prices on select appetizers and cocktails/beer. I like the vibe of the main bar area, very casual and comfortable. It can accommodate all size groups and has enough TV's with all sport options to keep you entertained. Parking can sometimes be a challenge but if you want to hoof it, you can always park across the street by Islands restaurant. Hell, go into Islands, have a drink and some cheese fries then walk over to Finneys. If your happy hour hopping, you can hit Lure next! read more

We were a party of 7 & sat on the patio close to the AMC. The music was so loud we could only talk to the person next to us! Appetizers were great, but salads were below average. Four of us ordered the chopped italian. None of them looked the same. If we had 4 pieces of salami we were lucky. Garbanzo beans were hard to find. One of the salads was the size of a side salad. They were all 90% lettuce, at best. Not sure why it has gone downhill, but no reason to go back! read more

The hostess was friendly and nice, as was the waitress, but the food was mediocre and the service wasn't great. Had to ask for water at least three times before we got it, asked for salad dressing twice that never came, and were generally ignored throughout the meal. The person bringing the food out to our table - who wasn't the same as our waitress - was great and working hard, but it seemed like the waitress either had too many tables or just was having an off night. The place stinks of mildew. The burgers smell awful and are completely dry. So was the nachos. My tummy hurts all day and night since eating here. I'm worried about the freshness of the food here. Also there were no bussers so the service was pretty poor. Took over 25 minutes to get and close a check. Won't be coming back. Shame since we live around the corner! I really need to remember to stop eating here. Service and ambiance are fine, it's just the food is really not very good--unfortunately it's right by the theatre and there is that outdoor place space, so my child will be hungry after the movie and we will end up there. I had the Mahi Mahi Tacos and the tortilla was maybe made there (?) but it was super greasy and the spice was a bit over the top for the salsa just being pico. My husband couldn't eat his boneless chicken wings (and this man eats everything like a garbage disposal) and my kid wouldn't eat his pepperoni pizza. So this review is just a reminder to myself to stop eating here. I wish it was better. The location is pretty great. read more

I've been to this location a few times already and have always found the food to be pretty good. I like that they have several beers on tap so you will most likely find something you like. A lot of their beers are from local distilleries. Their food is not bad either. Service has always been great. T-mobile doesn't work very well up here, but luckily, they have free WiFi. read more

Me and my friends decided to go to Finneys for an early dinner and it did not disappoint!! The restauraunt is big and has a rustic bar vibe that feels very welcoming. The service was fast, we got seated immediately outside at around 5:30PM. Their menu has a wide variety of different Americanized dishes. I got the beef taquitos, and my friends got the wagyu burger and hot honey boneless wings. The taquitos were so crunchy and had so much flavor. The meet was super tender. The queso fresco was a bit weird but nothing terrible. They provided two sauces, I enjoyed the salsa they gave the most, sooo good!! We all demolished the food!!! The price is great for the quality of their food. It was around $13-$16. It is also a sports bar so if you're looking to have some good drinks with your meal, this is place to go! They have so many great options for cocktails and beer. This is more niche but if you want to mix or try two drinks together, our server suggested getting a sampler of one to try and mix in your drink. I love that they do this!! Had lunch at Finney's ordered The Finney Burger with impossible patty ($3 extra charge) and side Cesar salad. Burger was good, bread was soft and buttery, lightly toasted. Cesar salad romaine lettuce was little soft, not wilted but didn't taste fresh. They use bread crumbs instead of croutons, like a traditional Cesar salad. Personal preference, I would have liked croutons and more dressing on the salad. I liked the presentation of the food, burger was served looked like a cutting board. I would go back but I would order something different. Finney's also offers salads, pizza, wings, tacos & sandwiches. The hosts, servers & wait staff were all friendly and checked on us regularly. They refilled our drinks without us asking, which I liked. It's a casual restaurant, they were playing mostly country music, some top 40, and the restaurant was busy full of families, couples and groups of friends. read more

Driving up the 101 I decided to stop by and try this place. I had the buffalo cauliflower and it was amazing. It hit the spot. I should have stopped there but then I had their burger. The burger was delicious but a bit small. To drink I had their old fashioned and it gave me a good buzz. The service was great and they were friendly. Definitely enjoyed my visit. Our go to happy hour spot! Love the food and drink options and can't beat the price. $5 beers and there is a wide selection of it including seltzers and kombucha options. You. Can also ask for a taste. We love sitting at the bar, the bartenders are so friendly. The bar area isn't that big and it gets super busy so we try to go early. And if you are waiting, can grab a drink at the bar and sit outside near the fire pit and hangout. Although dessert isn't part of the happy hour, can't forget the churros, it's so good!! read more

Great ambiance in the place, and a wide variety of food options. The only thing about this place is that it is in a congested area. My friend and I came in and waited for a seat for a while. Had to wait until someone else got up, but they were just sitting there talking. No fault of the establishment, but being in a such a congested area, the place just isn't as big as some other locations. read more

We used Yelp to find a restaurant near us that was close to Hand and Stone massage. We found Finneys Crafthouse in Porter Ranch, Northridge. It is located in a new shopping center on Rinaldi. If you like outdoor seating They have two areas outside for outdoor seating. It was too cold to sit outside so we sat in one of their large leather booths. The waitress was very attentive, she gave us time to select our drinks. We ordered Buffalo cauliflower with a aioli sauce and deviled eggs with blue cheese and siracha with blue cheese crumbles. They were both absolutely delicious a must try when you dine there. My husband ordered a egg, Chile relleno cheese burger and I ordered a prime rib cheesesteak. Both were on a brioche bun and were delicious. We highly recommend Finneys Crafthouse we can't wait to go back and try other craft beers and their excellent selection of food! read more

I can't believe I haven't been here before. Amazing sports bar with tons of screens, huge selections of craft beer and good food. We came here on Friday night and place was packed during Dodger's playoff. Though wait time was 90 minutes, we got to watch the game and enjoy delicious beer and cocktails during our wait, which was awesome. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available with plenty of high tables and handful of booths. We got seated near the bar and got amazing view of the game, including Lakers pre-season. The beer selection is diverse, and I like having so much to choose from. Taratula HIlls Liquid Candy IPA recommended by our waitress was fabulous. The Barrelhouse Big Sur IPA was another excellent choice. They also have an array of cocktails. Old Fashion was strong and solid. For appetizers, we got buffalo cauliflower and they were amazing. We enjoyed both truffle and jalapeno burger, which were juicy and on point. The service was honestly very good, given how busy the place was. Menu prices were reasonable and good portions. This was our second time coming here and it was just as good as the first! It was pretty busy so we were seated on the outside patio - was surprisingly really warm with all of the heaters. I got the Guava Marg and my boyfriend got a beer, both were really good. We also had the Bison Burger with Truffle Fries and the Yuzu Buffalo Boneless Wings - again, super good! Service is great, place is great, even the food taste great, my only concern is me and my wife came here for valentines dinner with our 2 kids 3 and 6 year old, we both went home 1 hour later we both started getting bad acid reflux, gas, and repeatedly burping the food. Came midnight i got a pretty bad stomach ache that kept me up for a few hours had to take some meds and roll up like a shrimp to be able to sleep. Its a shame its our 2nd visit and we are excluding it from our list already. Heres my receipt and pics for proof i actually dined in and not lying. I have mixed feelings of Finney's. All of the staff here is great. They're friendly and attentive without being too much like a helicopter parent. I appreciate it when waitstaff finds that perfect balance. However, I have come here twice now both times ordering completely different items and both times have I found my food, both the main course and sides, as being severely under seasoned. I should've have to douce my food in salt and pepper just to get some taste out of it. I was really hoping that my first trip was a fluke (got the fried chicken sandwich with onion rings) but the second time it was the same story (bbq burger with regular fries). The in house potato chips are great in texture but once again...so so bland. It really bums me out because I know this place could be great. There are a lot of items on the menu that look fantastic. But I just don't know how many chances I should give them. I will say, however, the brussel sprout appetizer we got on our second visit was fantastic. They nailed that dish for sure. The food here was !!!! We were at first skeptical of the combinations of ingredients in certain foods. We knew it had to either taste amazing, or just not work. Turns out it tasted amazing! The yuzu buffalo boneless wings were sooo good. I've never seen yuzu in food at a non-Asian place, and it was perfectly executed. A side of ranch and honey mustard made it so delicious. The ingredients of the brussel sprouts were also surprising. Furikake, bacon, figs... it ended up tasting pretty good!! The crisp on the exterior was so yumm. The only thing is I wish it was a bit juicier, maybe it needed a little sauce? The burgers were all amazing, and the onion rings was such a perfect combo. They cooked my patties exactly how I like them. The spicy ketchup sauce they give you was AMAZING. I almost licked mine clean. Service also made our experience even better. Our server was so accommodating and patient when we were having a hard time figuring out what to order. He made sure to check in on us throughout the whole time, and got everything out quickly. The only things I'd like them to change is the wait time accuracy and the rate at which they take away empty plates. The three of us were initially told it was a 15 minute wait, but it ended up being a 1 hour wait. With regards to empty plates, my friend and I were still eating our meal, and one friend was done with his food. But a different server came by twice and took his plate away in a way that disrupted our conversation and made me and my friend feel rushed to finish. Regardless, the food was awesome and the service was still good. I'll definitely visit again, but when I have some more time than usual. read more

Came for an early dinner. Despite the holiday, weekday happy hour was still in effect. We ordered: loaded tater tots, carnitas tacos, cauliflower tacos, boneless chicken wings and the salmon sandwich. Also ordered fries and a small Caesar salad. Wife and I took advantage of the happy hour prices. I had two 818 Valley Girl blonde beers and she had an old fashioned. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Our waiter was overwhelmed on the patio so a manager stepped in to help and took our orders twice. He was excellent. Another manager came by later. We saw two managers, our sever and two helpers.
