Very nice sports bar with a huge menu that includes choices of burgers, chicken wings, pizza, tacos and sandwiches. Good service. Nice big bar to have a beer or cocktail and watch a sports game. A get away to sit in the bar solo or with few friends having a good time while enjoying a game of baseball or football. The prices are very reasonable. The food quality is good but not exceptional. Truffle Burger was excellent. The truffle fries not so good. Mushroom pizza very good and the chicken wings were very tasty. I would definitely go back. read more

This is our third time going to Finny's. First time I've decided to write a review. my mom suggested this place on our way home from LA since she knew me and my wife liked it so much. It was about a 15 minute wait on a Saturday night which wasn't bad. we were sat and about 5-10 minutes later we were greeted by our server who got our drink and food order. since there were four of us, we decided to order things to try and share we ordered the avocado egg-rolls (the green dip is really weird that comes with it, It has a mint in it and if you don't like mint, do not try it), the onion ring tower, the coconut shrimp, )which are my favorite) Gary's pepperoni pizza and the barbecue chicken salad. The food came out in sections. Everything was hot and fresh. The only thing I didn't really care for was the salad because I didn't care for their barbecue sauce and all the lime they had in the pico de gallo but everybody else at my table seem to enjoy it. We will definitely will be back, it's still one of our favorite places to eat at in Santa Clarita. The wait was only 8 minutes which I really appreciated but there were various mistakes that were made throughout my dinning experience with my side piece. Like gurl forgot to bring us our water, which we ordered from the very beginning. Not to mention, we were served sweet potato fries instead of the regular fries with our burgers. The service was fast, but I feel as if we weren't treated with the up most respect. It was a cute little moment with my side sis because we did talk papas about ppl we hate. I visited on a Sunday morning with a pretty decent hangover and a friend recommended we go here for brunch. We were seated in the bar area and there were multiple servers helping the tables so sometimes it would be awhile before someone came back to check on us. I immediately ordered a Bloody Mary that was absolutely delicious. The garnishes were also tasty. It was topped with a tater tot, slice of bacon, and of course olive and celery. It was perfect so I ordered two. My friend and I shared a large fry and I got the Nashville hot chicken sliders. The fries were crispy and came with a side of ranch and what seemed like their homemade ketchup. The chicken in the sliders were relatively crispy and the sauce had a good kick. I came here with my friend because we were in town and looking for a good place for lunch. There was not much parking left in the lot, but the whole area was pretty packed at around 12:30 PM on a Saturday. We were able to find a spot just fine though. When we left someone grabbed our spot right away! That parking was all free though, which is always nice. The whole shopping center looked very new and it was very well-kept. If we had had more time, I would have definitely liked to have walked around just to check out more of the shops near this restaurant. It kind of reminded me of the Empire Center in Burbank. We decided to eat at the bar because the wait time for a party of two was about 35 minutes. I'm so glad we ended up eating at the bar because the gentleman who served us, Kyle, was super sweet! He was very positive and a great people person. He was also attentive and prompt with his service. My friend got a Reuben sandwich and I got a burger with no cheese and sweet potato fries. I photographed my friend's food but I was so hungry when I got my food that I just ate it without taking the time to take a picture for yelp lol. It was very good and I ate the whole burger! The fries were also delicious and very fresh. They also had three or four wide screen TVs mounted over the bar. When we were there they had a live golf tournament on with the pros, including Tiger Woods. The vibe at the bar was pretty chill. When we are in the area we plan to return here again. Checked them out for happy hour a few times. Great place to get a quick bite. Came with friends and at times with just my kids. Food is good. We have gotten pizza, onion tower (no longer an option), buffalo cauliflower, pretzel, poke tacos, chicken quesadilla, and sliders. Everything was good. It is right next to AMC with plenty of parking in front. We usually sit outside in the patio area for we prefer to be outside due to covid. I prefer Finney's for happy hour compared to Gus's BBQ. Please, please, please....do not go there. The Porter stanch location is the WORST!!! We were there yesterday, came in and checked into the list. We got our "link" through Yelp that we were on the list. We were told about 10 to 15 mins. Fast forward.....an hour!!!!! We were told 10 mins....nothing. We requested a table inside, since the wait time was so long that it was night already....(we got there at 5:20, it was 6:40 and nothing) the host was trying, but what upset us was that the Manager came over and told us that we needed to wait since we wanted a booth inside. Mind you, if they would have told us, wait time is an hour and a half....we would then made a decision to stay, or leave. We weren't given that grace. Then he pulled the, "that's what yelp says" bit. We don't know why he came over, we didn't call him over, we weren't even complaining. We were sitting there waiting our turn....but he came to make the situation worst, no empathy or accountability. Trying to blame an App. That they use!!!! And us! Because we had the audacity to ask for a booth inside. The manager did not even give a hint of grace, or was even apologetic for approaching us in that manner. Instead of making us feel better, about a wait of over an hour, when told 10 to 15 mins, we left....then guess what we received immediately? A link from Yelp!!! "You have been removed from the wait list" hmmmm....how convenient. Don't go there, they are liars and the manager that was there last night, lacks communication skills and really doesn't know how to de escalate a situation. He should just stayed in his area, and left us alone. We were fine, just waiting for a table. Finney's in Porter Ranch will never have our patronage again....went down the street to In-N-Out, had our burgers in less than 15 mins. All we wanted was a burger, trust....Finney's burgers aren't worth the wait. Go to In-N-Out instead. I'd give them zero stars....get rid of that manager or train him better. read more

I've been to the Finneys in Westlake many a time over the years, but this was my first time at this location. It's important to note that their menu is so diverse, so you can easily have a different culinary experience every time you visit Finneys - but it'll always be good! They also offer a variety of beers and specialty cocktails to try, too. I came here with family on my birthday last week and got their Cadillac Margarita. It tasted great - no overly sweet mix here! For my meal, I got the jalapeño Egg Burger with a side of tater tots. Wow, so good. I never even realized they have a kids menu but being here with my niece and nephew, they actually have a nice kids menu with crayons and coloring activities. We had an order of the corn dogs for the kids and honestly they looked amazing. I tried a bite of the corn breading and it was a super yummy homemade tasting batter. Lastly, they brought out a free cookie ice cream sandwich with a candle for me which was nice, and didn't have some big order of a group song with all the servers which was even better This entire Porter Ranch plaza has some great dining, shopping, and entertainment - Finneys definitely being one of the great choices! read more

we waited for an hour only for the people who just walked in to be given a table. mind you we were told that we were going to have that particular table. The manager proceeded to tell my daughter they came before us which was not true as we were seated near the door and watched them walk in. Then she said they had reservations which can't be true either as we were told we could only put ourselves on waitlist as they don't take reservations.i don't know what to make of it. I first tried Finney's in Burbank and I've been a fan ever since! Met up with a friend at this location since it was the halfway point for both of us. I found the drinks and food consistent with the Burbank location, which is key! My girl tried their buffalo cauliflower for the first time and she loved it! We also shared some wings and sweet potato fries. I didn't get our server's name but he was very attentive, kind and helpful. I left with a happy tummy and a 4 pack of their craft IPA for my hubby. The sauces they serve here are all very good! Some food I tried, from best to okay: ------------------ Grilled Veggie pizza - Love this pizza. Smells and tastes great! The garlic crema and grilled veggies....yum!! And at $12, price is great for what you get! Crispy Coconut Shrimp - Very good!! An order comes with 6 shrimps and the size isn't bad either. Jalapeno egg burger - Enjoyed this when I actually dined in there. Delicious and didn't find it all that spicy. I do have a tolerance for spiciness though. Yolk was a lil runny, which I liked. Buffalo cauliflower - Pretty good. The sauces were great. Poke nachos - Kinda small portion but good. The sauce was interesting (wasabi flavored) and I liked it. Smoked tri-tip sandwich - Was fine. Didn't wow me but I did have it as take-out rather than dine-in. Maybe it'll be better in the restaurant? --------------------- Service could be better. It's not bad but also not great. Every time I pick up an order they seem kinda apathetic. I do tip them online, not that it should matter. I even brought back a drink order they accidentally gave me (before I got to my car) but they seemed mostly indifferent. They have an interesting system where you can order for take-out only up til 5 pm (phone and online orders). Not sure if they take it in person or not. There is a wait to dine-in at peak times. Let me start by saying our server was wonderful and responsive. All the staff were friendly. However, my husband ordered no dairy on his meal which then was delivered with cheese on the sandwich and all over the onion rings. He respectfully requested a new meal, which took forever. When he finally got his meal, the new onion rings were soggy and covered in parsley, which made them inedible. When a manager stopped by, my husband kindly informed him of the way things had played out and he was apologetic and ultimately offered to take the onion rings off the bill...which disappointed us further when we got the bill and they were still on there. We've dined at Finneys before and have had good enough experiences to come back, but I think after this, it's going to be awhile before we try again. read more

three of us went specigicslly for Happy Hour from 4:00-5:00 pm and told host so. The tables were full on the restsurant side, so we sat in the bar area. After a 15 minute wait, finally our server came up, and again we inform her we were there for happy hour and each one of us ordered specifically from the happy hour special menu, 3 appetizers anc 3 drinks. I ordered the burger sliders. When our order cane out, she brought me a "regular" large burger with fries. I corrected her and she said that it was also part of the happy jour menu. We had our order but when the bill came out, my hamburger was charged $16.00, whereas the sliders were only $8.00. We paid our bill but I believe this was an upcharge just to increase the total tab. I've been here several times and always look forward to the food and drinks. It is located next to the movie theaters, which is convenient if you plan to continue hanging out and watch something. The restaurant usually has a wait, so be sure to arrive early or be prepared to wait around 20 minutes or even an hour. This is a restaurant with patrons who like to hablng around, especially cause there are tvs inside. There are other spots surrounding the restaurant that you can visit while waiting. Finneys has bar seating, communal bar seating, indoor, and outdoor sitting The staff is friendly and down to earth. I always appreciate the level of attention when it comes to taking our orders and checking-in on us. As for the food, there are so many great options, but my favorite go-to is the kalua pork carnitas. For the appetizer, you can't go wrong with the mini ahi poke tacos or crispy coconut shrimp. If you drink beer (I dont), they have different drafts on tap. I go for the cocktails. They're not that strong but I like the flavor. They seem to add one or two new ones every several months. Drinks were ok... can't really mess up a Jack and coke... appetizers were delish... what really REALLY left a sour taste was we ordered the BBQ chicken pizza flatbread and in the ingredients listing on the menu did NOT say there was going to be GLOBS of ranch. I understand an overly used popular drizzle but not a glop on 2/3 of the pizza thing. When we asked the waitress didn't know so she brought someone else and they said that the chicken was mixed with ranch. I wish I would've taken a picture. The chicken on the ENDS of the pizza did not have any ranch therefore it couldn't have ALL been mixed in. At the end they took it off our bill because we didn't even touch it but I think it should be said SOMEWHERE on the menu. When I mentioned that, the kind lady hesitated for an answer and then shot back with there's not enough space on the menu to list all of the ingredients!! WHAT?! Did not expect that the food would be so yummy! The philly cheese steak sandwich was bomb. The pastrami was amazing. Their salad was perfect! The onion rings needed a dip. The entree came with their home made potato chips - perfectly cooked and crispy. Add a little salt and its perfect. Veronica was our server and she was very friendly. There was a manager or host that went around and greeted us as well. We sat outside the patio so there were a few flying bugs but having to drink the margarita flight which had 4 glasses if different flavors margarita (the hibiscus one was my fave) - the buzzzzzing of the bugs were no longer a nuisance. Came with a friend for lunch today. We both sat outside, such a perfect day today! We both ordered the trip tip sandwich, since last time I had it, it was so good! Well our sandwiches came out and it was a Philly cheese steak kind of meat. We ate it anyway because we were both starving. My friend wanted to see the manager who explained they cut the meat really thin and would make us another to go. Another manager told us they get the meat confused with the other sometime. I worked in catering for many years and even the new sandwich was the same as the first one. Not sure if quality has just gone down or way. Tina was our waitress and she did apologise. My wife and I eat here every couple of months, always on the weekend for lunch. We have never been disappointed. The service, food and ambience are excellent. Amazingly well-trained staff.
