Finneyes next to a movie theatre is a great idea. I come before my movie so I can make it in time for happy hour. Since I'm a sucker for pretzels I get the Bavarian pretzel and my goodness the dips that come with it are MY FAVORITE!!! It comes with a salted caramel, honey mustard, and cheese dip. My favorite is the salted caramel!!! I'm already drooling for my next visit. I also had the pepperoni pizza was so delicious. I love the pepperoni curls upward. I absolutely love Finney's. The food is always so good and the service is great. This location was very convenient off the freeway and in a shopping mall. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. First time here and it won't be my last! I met up with a girlfriend for dinner and we shared the Pretzel Appetizer which came with three sauces which were all amazing. I can't even remember what they were but one was a mustard and one was more like a jelly. It was delicious and I would get again. They have a large variety of flat bread pizzas as well. We went with the sausage and garlic pizza, but they all looked good. They have a large selection or beers and cocktails, which I can't have now because I'm pregnant but I'll go in the future and try! Smelly tables, probably had been cleaned with a filthy dirty cloth. Food was not great. Service was slow, no one came to clean up after our appetizers was done so our tables were full of empty plates and we had no space. But the disgusting smelly tables was the worst part ! Wow. Great selection of beers. My favorite was the fig mountain Agua Santa Mexican lager, crisp, smooth and refreshing. Wait was about 45 minutes for a group of 6. There is outdoor seating available. We started with the carnitas nachos for an appetizer. It was loaded with meat and perfect balance of all the ingredients in a nacho. This was probably my favorite part of the night hands down. My boyfriend ordered the tri tip sandwich which had a spicy kick to it. Truffle fries are a must truffly and savory. They offer sweet potato fries as well. I ordered the Peggy's crispy sandwich it was a handful. The chicken was tender and crispy on the outside. Very filling. Service was good in the beginning. I'm assuming it got busy and the dessert took awhile to get to us. The churros had a different taste than usual churros. Celebrating my cousins birthday The food and what I rated We order the lobster roll I give it a 6 the bread was soggy. Hot tenders with fries a 8 kinda dry. Spicy level was good fries flavory and crunchy. Mini finney burger a 9 good flavor, juicy. Margarita flight is ok too sweet 3 Raspberry smash couldn't taste the vodka but Prosecco and lots of ice 2 Hibiscus margarita amazing 10 Espresso martini absolutely great 10 The service I believe every single person that was working that shift was very cordial and polite that night. However my waitress shift was over and pass me to someone new named Giselle. I don't know if she had a problem with my cousin or she has a HOMOPHOBIA issue. We had told her it was his birthday and she proceeded with a nasty "congrats" response, when I told her to bring him ice cream. She brought it over and toss it in the table. Didn't even look him in the eyes and as she walked away said "happy birthday " I still left her a good tip because maybe she needs it and had a "bad day" needless to say we won't be coming to spend our money there ever again. I come here quite often for happy hour. The hostess seated us right away today and we were pretty happy. I came here with a friend on a Monday at 4:00 p.m. Its usually packed but today there were a lot of empty tables. We waiting about 18 minutes before someone came to our table to get our order. I was a bit disappointed that it took that long but our server was very nice. Our favorite happy hour eats include the chicken and waffles (a must), mini ahi poke tacos (yum), Gary's pepperoni pizza, Other items we ordered were the Bavarian pretzel, coconut shrimp, and onion ring tower. For beers, I recommend the finney's red, the pranqster, the mango hef, and finney's maple brown. This sports bar is great and I highly recommend coming here with friends! read more

I have been waiting for Finneys to open for what seems like an eternity. I feel like their opening was definitely delayed due to COVID, but thankfully they were finally able to open. They have several COVID precautions, including reduced capacity, spaced tables, and the request that you wear your mask until you are seated. All staff also wears masks/face shields. There is indoor/outdoor seating and everything was very clean. They have a large selection of drinks to choose from and the Guava margarita is so good! Drinks are priced fairly, and the happy hour deals are impressive. I tried the fish tacos when I was there (served with tortilla chips) and the portion was huge. The tacos were yummy and fresh. The pretzel is amazing....totally going to railroad me off my diet. It comes with a mustard and also a caramel dip which was heavenly. We bought this to share amongst the table....and ended up wishing that we each had our own individual one, because it was too good to share! We came over around 1:30 on Saturday and were told that it would be a 15 - 30 minute wait for our party of three. The hostess took my number and I got a text to track the progress. We popped over to the Nordstrom Rack really quick and then back. We were seated promptly and ordered some Nashville wings to start and some beers. The wings came back with a nice crust and super hot (not spicy, just hot). I ordered the pastrami Reuben, my son the flatbread and my wife a turkey burger. The beers were excellent and well suited to the food. I got a dark stout with mine, my son got an Irish Red and my wife an ale (I think). Well onto the food, I didn't have any of the flatbread and certainly none of the turkey burger (my wife eats much healthier than me). But the pastrami was lean enough and I ordered with a side of tots. The food and the service were excellent and I would definitely recommend and come back again. read more

First Happy Hour outing since . Went here with some teammates for a celebration and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. We were seated inside but the restaurant was well ventilated and had all their doors open. Happy hour is from 3p to 5p. Came here on 3/11/21 at 3:30pm and waited 45 minutes. The establishment is small but they do let you order from the bar while you wait. I typically don't wait for dinner, lunch, or breakfast. There are plenty of restaurants taking reservations since covid. I wanted to try the gluten-free options. Holy cauliflower wings! yum and yes please. I ordered the chicken club with gluten-free bread and it was greeeat. The truffle fries... hi i'm in love. Everything was above my expectations, which makes the darn wait so long. We need more of these places in the SFV. Finney's please keep the consistency. I will circle back in 6 months. read more

Not for any kind of party with more than 4 people. I contacted during the week for a large party just to let staff know. They stated okay they would make a note for staff since they don't take reservations. I called day of and spoke to someone else and they essentially stated if my large party wanted to be seated in the same section it would take hours! Luckily I was able to make a reservation at Gus bbq right around the corner and we had an excellent experience with great food and service. So glad Finney's actively discouraged us to go. read more

For my first experience here with my friend and his wife, who LOVE this place, the food was pretty subpar. However, I didn't want to write Finney's off completely so when it came time for my friend's birthday this past week, I decided this would be a time to give Finney's another shot and I'm glad I did. We started out with the Crispy Coconut Shrimp(had it the first time around and really enjoyed it) and Carnitas Nachos appetizers. Crispy Coconut Shrimp was still a home run and would be my go to appetizer. However, I was impressed with the Carnitas Nachos. The portion served was generous and the flavor of the shredded pork tasted just like the meat from the iconic Tito's Tacos when they were still good which was maybe 15-20 yrs ago. Anyway, Carnitas Nachos are highly recommended as well. On my last visit I had the Smoked Tri tip which is a "Finney's Favorite" but it was just dry and the meat seemed like it was cut from the last piece that had been sitting under a heat lamp all day, so this time around I decided to go with Hickory BBQ Burger. I wasn't disappointed with my selection. The burger was delicious, flavorful and juicy. However, if I had to do it all over again, I would have cut that burger in half with a knife and made it more manageable because I got BBQ sauce all over my hands and probably looked like a toddler having dinner. The only thing about Finney's that I wasn't keen about is that the wait for a table can be really long. I though getting an early dinner at 4:45pm on Sunday would have cut the wait time down but I was wrong. I forgot the NFC Division playoff game between the Cowboys and 49ers was going on and it was an hour wait. Now if the weather is nice, that's tolerable because there are plenty of places to sit outdoors and wait but that day it was cold and windy and the waiting area inside Finney's was packed so we all decided to wait in the car and they would call our cell phone when a table was ready for us. However, the cell phone reception in that area was spotty so to avoid losing our place in line, we huddled outside in the cold wind until space opened up in the waiting area. Brrrr! All in all, the experience was positive, the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Looking forward to the next meal here! read more

First time coming here last night for a beer and some small snacks. I just want to start off by saying that the customer service here is amazing. Off the bat, right when my boyfriend walked into the door, we were greeted with such a warm welcome. We were sat immediately and our server was quick to grab our drink orders and our food order shortly after that. Shoutout to the workers last night for that! For food, I got the mini lobster rolls and loaded tater tots. Both delicious :) The lobster rolls were on a hawaiian roll and had hints of citrus in them. The loaded tater tots were what you would expect but the sauce or cheese that they used really elevated the taste. Also, try the 818 Valley girl beer!! It was light and refreshing! read more

We met up with great friends today in Porter Ranch for our a reunite and birthday celebrations and headed to Finneys Crafthouse! A beautiful upscale but casual restaurant that has indoor and outdoor seating that is dog friendly of course! We opted for the covered patio and it was perfect! Their menu has an amazing variety of everything all of us love plus more! My son and I opted for the veggie burgers...and I made mine a truffle version! I excitedly ordered the onion ring stack to share (it was not three feet high like the waiter said it was lol)...and being the onion ring aficionado here, I was going to tackle our group for the last ring but the veggie burger was so big that I easily resisted the urge! The guys intermittently watched the game while we laughed and got caught up on life! The staff surprised us with their birthday chocolate chip cookies and ice cream with enough spoons for us all! The service was amazing, staff professional and friendly...and we literally can't wait to go back! Thank you to our friends and to our new friends at Finneys and a shout out to Isaac who was an excellent waiter! He came from Moorpark a d I drove from north hills so this was the midpoint and we both agreed on this location First this location can become busy so you'd have to look for parking in front because it's right next to an amc theater and other business. But walking into Herr is nice reminder me of a southern spot. They have the flag hanging inside which I truly respect because I am in the military. It was around a 10 to 15 min wait which wasn't bad. They seated us way in the back. The waitress I forgot her name but she is going to csun for marketing. Nice young Asian lady. She came to check on us throughout the time we were there. And she quickly got our drinks in for happy hour. I got 2 old fashion and they held the second one under happy hour for me which I was like yessss. And I ordered wings and bbq cauliflower which both was tasty. He ordered a pizza first then the jalapeños egg burger. Which looked tasty as well. My overall experience here was good and I can't wait to come again Crazy I went to the amc next door often and this was my first time coming into the facility. Our waitress was friendly, we were sat outside in a large picnic table because we had a large group and we're told that was the only table that could accommodate all of us. Sitting outside made our group really hot they definitely need better fans during the summer. The beer was very good and smooth. The deviled eggs were delicious. The pizza was nice and crunchy and also very good. The Moroccan salad was okay, the pictures posted online showed a entire piece of steak and I only received about half of that. The steak was extremely dry , lacked seasoning and was very hard to chew. I requested for the steak to be medium well to prevent the steak from being dry but the waiter told me that she can't put that request since it's a thin piece of steak.
