Not for any kind of party with more than 4 people. I contacted during the week for a large party just to let staff know. They stated okay they would make a note for staff since they don't take reservations. I called day of and spoke to someone else and they essentially stated if my large party wanted to be seated in the same section it would take hours! Luckily I was able to make a reservation at Gus bbq right around the corner and we had an excellent experience with great food and service. So glad Finney's actively discouraged us to go. read more

I came here with a friend for dinner. First of all, the entire shopping center is amazing! It's been a minute since I have been to this plaza...but man... I was missing out. There is a Nordstrom Rack, Whole Foods, and a ton of restaurants. Off my tangent, let's go back to Finneys. Cute vibe and great menu. There is inside and park on seating. We opted to wait and sit on the patio. Worth it. It was a great evening! We started off with the Buffalo cauliflower and drinks. I got the Cadillac margarita. Never a bed choice and it was recommended by the server. For dinner, I got the truffle burger. Yum! I opted for the lettuce wrap and a side salad. My friend got the turkey burger, which was a little dry, but the tater tots were off the chain! Add the spicy ketchup... who's drooling now?! read more

The wait is long but I love the food and service!! They never messed up my meal and they make sure they get it right. They have fun eccentric shots to try, I tried the tequila and tajin, next I want to try the Hershey's one. Try the waffle and chicken bites, the Nashville chicken bites, and their Caesar has a good taste!! I also thought it was different that they serve iced cold icees, that was also good. My experience could have been better November 12 at 8pm. I put my name down at the queue. The girl at the front was very nice and pretty. I only wish she could have told me that there was two community table tops that was open seating also I wish they actually went by the names on the list when put what first. The other waitress realized that and jumped us the line and got us a seat. Thank you for that. The reason for 4 starts is the service was kinda slow. The food was absolutely good and I had my first martini a espresso martini which I highly recommend it was delicious . Everything else was good. Just turn off the ceiling fan when it's freezing cold out side. Especially when it's a lot of in and out it makes it super cold and uncomfortable for costumer to enjoy there food. read more

I have been here a few times and each time was really great! They have outdoor seating which is really nice in this new shopping center as it provides really a nice atmosphere. The drinks are good and strong. I am partial to the guava margarita, it is very tasty but also packs a good punch. I have had the watermelon margarita as well, which is also very good. They have several TVs throughout the restaurant and on the patios for catching the games. The bar area is nice, however it is usually very crowded at peak times. As far as food they have many different options which are sure to satisfy most cravings. I have had the impossible taco salad and the bbq chicken salad, both were very good. My favorite thing however was the buffalo cauliflower. Soooo good! Overall, I highly recommend this place for food, drinks and to just hangout with friends. read more

My family, friends, and I have dined at many Finney locations, between Westlake Village, Santa Barbara, and Porter Ranch. There is always something for everyone on the menu- in particular the Coconut Shrimp appetizer is a MUST! This review however is about their above and beyond customer service & genuinely care. My father in law fell unconscious at the table on our last visit, it was a scary moment for our family and I'm sure for the whole restaurant. For a couple seconds it was one of most scariest moments of my life to date. The restaurant staff including the manager all ran to help our family member as if he were their own. They called for help, escorted us out of the restaurant safely, offered to go cup waters as we waited outside for the ambulance, they even checked up on us three more times while we waited, they were also so generous to even comp the bill. Needless to say, we are Finney lifers. Thank you for making a scary experience as easy as possible for us. We are unbelievably thankful for a community to react selflessly in a time of need. People who come here generally really like it just like I do, but because it's so popular there can be a substantial wait so I've got a pro tip for you. If you arrive between 11am and 11:30am you can get seated right away. After 11:30 there are plenty of available tables, but they haven't started shifts for many of their servers so the waiting starts then. The food has all been very good. They have their own quirky take on many things. Today I had the tri-tip tacos which comes with a horseradish aioli. I like horseradish, but I don't like mayonnaise and to me aioli is just a fancy way to say mayo. Some are okay, but these were a little too mayo for me (and a little too horseradish for my wife). If you don't like mayo then ask for it without the aioli because I had a couple bites at the end that didn't have it and the crunchy iceberg lettuce along with the trip-tip, pickled red onion, and tomatoes was really good. I love a good pretzel and Finney's has a pretty decent one. The 3 different sauces it comes with really put it over the top. There's a sweet mustard one and a couple others. One of them I think is supposed to be their take on a beer cheese, but it tasted more like a creamy chicken soup. Since I was firmly in the mustard camp I was fine (plus there was yellow mustard on the table anyway). There's also a sweet dip that I didn't bother with. My wife loves that one so it was all hers. I had their chicken and waffle bites again and it didn't disappoint. There's some sort of maple cream thing along with the waffle and boneless fried chicken bites that makes it very enjoyable. I tried my wife's tater tots and here's again where Finney's puts their own spin on it. It tasted house-made because the interior was a little creamier than a normal tot and the outside had a thicker layer of fry that your freezer variety. They could definitely use some seasoning, though. Fortunately, salt and pepper are on the table so I was able to adjust for myself. I had a couple of the Finney maple brown ales. I like dark beer and the drink menu has a few different ones to choose. I like to partake in house choices and since this is billed as a craft beer place I'm especially prone to choose theirs. It's a very good beer. If you haven't tried this place out yet, you should. Just be prepared for the wait unless you applied my pro tip above. read more

I was delighted to experience Finney's craft House over at CityWalk recently I ordered the Italian sub I believe and it was delicious. I did not make any alterations. This is an updated review. Message to management, please clean the restrooms. I should have went to the restroom prior to eating our meal. I've been to Finneys in WV and PR more than a few times. The restrooms look worse in person. Especially during covid they should practice better cleaning protocols. I was disgusted and left to use the Bathroom next door. Mind you I was there during the day and it was pretty empty and definitely not a high traffic time. No excuse to have rings around the toilet and the one sink they have. The food was good but come on!!! The food is amazing and so reasonably priced. 4 of us ate for around $120 before tip (including 3 apps and 4 entrees). The outside area was really warm despite the crazy winds and it being night out, so don't be scared to sit outside if it's cold! The service was okay, nothing special but ive have experienced worse. As a server myself, i tend to be easy on other servers. but to an outsider, it might be a little on the slow and inattentive side. Photos of the food look amazing, and there was a long wait so we had high expectations but were disappointed by the lack of flavor and the burgers were not as packed and appealing like they were in photos. The service was GREAT except for the young lady that seated us. We were asking for a booth instead of an outside chair because I have really bad arthritis in my lower back and those hard wood chairs can really cause pain. We understand that we should have asked for a booth to begin with, our mistake, but her face and demeanor when we asked her to see if she can get us a booth instead seemed very irritated and we felt like we were bothering her. We were not demanding or rude, it was just a question. The server was great as well as the bus boy and others stopping by our table to clear it or refill our drinks. Overall service and atmosphere was fantastic, but the lack of flavor and long wait was not worth the money. My husband had the chicken club sandwich and he very much disliked it. Another family dinner (this happens a lot when we visit in CA). We sat outside and they cranked up the propane heaters, making it very comfortable for us. We started with two Bavarian Pretzels with dipping sauce - very good! And it kept the grandchildren happy and occupied! We ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer and it was a little milder than I expected - good, but not enough kick. The Kids Sliders, Pasta with butter and Fries came out quickly, as requested. We stopped by before our movie on a Thursday night and it was a 25 minutes wait for a table for 2, or open seating in the bar, which had plenty of available seats. So that's what we opted for. Service was prompt and attentive. Hubby and I split the Tri Tip sliders, lobster roll sliders and chicken wings. Everything was very flavorful! Perfect sizes for sharing. Sat on the patio for lunch on a beautiful day, and it was very pleasant despite the music being just a bit too loud. The service was excellent, and the plating was very appealing. The food was good to very good, and the alcoholic drinks were a a little light on the alcohol. Parking is easy because of the large parking lot. I would definitely come back if I was looking for patio dining on this end of the valley, and I will try the Westlake Village location. I'd really like to try some other things on the menu. Like a lot of restaurants have trended toward, you get less for the price here which inspires me to not buy a second drink. My wine was small but good. My husband got their Bourbon Mash which would have been delicious if it hadn't tasted so watered down. Maybe the other location is better. We shared a delicious Bavarian Pretzel and dips. My husband loved the pepperoni pizza, and I enjoyed the Prime Rib Cheesesteak which was better than many other restaurants but still somewhat lacking but much improved after I added the leftover mustard from the pretzel. The cheesesteak came with fries which I upgraded to truffle fries, and what appeared to be house-made chips. The fries we absolutely disappointing in any context, and I only had a few but the chips were really very good - even as leftovers. I'm a picky B**** about food and like rich, complex, or just strong flavors, so for most people the food here will be great, but it was a little bland for me. Texture is another issue for me, and this entire meal was spot-on for texture. For this reason, I look forward to trying more items on the menu. read more

Stopped by Finney's Crafthouse in Porter Ranch for lunch. We arrived at 11:00 AM and got seated immediately without waiting on a Friday. This is my second time in this location and the place gets packed very quickly by noon. Anticipating a queue, we were pleased to see seats available. We ordered Buffalo Cauliflower, Onion Ring Tower to start and a Black Truffle Burger. Also tried the craft cocktails Raspberry Smash. We received our orders correctly. The food arrived in the right temperature within a timeline manner. Everything was delicious. Presentation is beautiful. Friendly service provided by Taylor was excellent as always. Great memorable experience at Finney's Crafthouse in Porter Ranch. This is our go to spot for great selection of craft beers and amazing food. Finney's has it all, I recommended it to family and friends and I will be returning soon! Happy hours specials are available between 3PM-5PM Monday to Friday. First time here and the service alone will make me come back. My husband and I sat at the bar and ordered drinks and food. Out waitress/bartender was Naisha (sorry if I spelled her name wrong). She was super attentive and checked in with us frequently. Our drinks were my husband ordered the Jalapeño burger which was cooked perfectly and delicious!! I ordered the chicken wings, but I took a bite and they weren't good at all. All I tasted was flour batter. I've had the wings from another Finney's location and they were so good. As soon as we told our Naisha she immediately fixed the situation. I ended up getting the Moroccan salad and added steak-- 10/10 recommend. It was SO GOOD!!! The steak was cooked perfectly. The manager brought it out and apologized for the wings not being good and comped the food. The bartender, Naisha checked in as well to make sure everything was good and let us know it was comped. I know it wasn't their fault. It's unfortunate that the wings were trash, but the customer service was FANTASTIC!!! I truly appreciate that. My salad was so so good that both of those made up for the chicken wings. I highly recommend Finney's in Porter Ranch for the food we enjoyed and drinks- and the employees were all so nice!! There were 3 bartenders in the bar area on 11/11/23- Naisha, Melissa, and a gentleman. All of them were very attentive and great!! We will definitely be back and will recommend Finney's to others. It was an amazingly beautiful day today! Clear sky, not too hot, gentle breeze... We went to Finney's for lunch, and our fantastic day continued with terrific food and service all around! How lucky are we? Hannah was our server. She was pleasant and helpful and attentive. We spoke at length with a manager. She was just as delightful. 5/5: Bavarian pretzel - It's a good thing I'm writing this review and not my husband. He would talk your ear off about how much he loved this pretzel! This is now his favorite pretzel anywhere. He LOVED the cheese sauce, but was impressed by the genius idea to also have a sweet mustard and a caramel sauce for dipping as well so that people sharing this at the table could all find their favorite flavor! 5/5: Sausage & Garlic Pizza - well... we would call it a flatbread, not a pizza, but my husband was in love with this dish as well! Perfect ratio of the bread to toppings. Fennel sausage was amazing and the red onions were delightful. 4/5: Chicken & Waffle Bites - They call it a "sriracha maple butter" but it really eats like a maple gravy. That might sound strange, but it really works! 4/5: Onion Ring Tower - If these had been beer battered, they would have been a 5/5 4/5: Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup - The 4 cheese blend just oozes out of the perfectly toasted bread. My husband prefers a fattier blend of ground beef, but they got my vote with the harmony of ingredients. 4/5: Raspberry Lemonade - not too sweet. Refreshing! 2/5: Cheesesteak Egg Rolls - The only disappointment in our meal. They forgot to bring these out. When they finally did, they were way overcooked. I wonder if they dropped them back in the deep fryer to heat them up after sitting around... However, without our saying anything, they informed us that they were taking them off of our bill because they had arrived so late. All of us ordered appetizers at different times and they never got an order wrong. The food came out quick and was delicious. Decided to go to Finneys for a family dinner tonight. Called and put us on a waitlist. We were 13th in line and when we got there we were third. Mind you we kept reviewing the wait list queue so we knew who was ahead. We checked in and the guy tells us they have a table in the corner for us and they are just waiting for the people to leave. They had paid already and eaten their food and all they were doing was talking. 20 mins later I go check in again and he tells me once they leave he'll seat us there. Another 25 minutes go by and I check again and the girl at the front now tells me she's not sure if that table that was set aside for us was still going to be ours. She tells me she'll check with the manager. The manager sees me, walks right by me and says nothing. At this point the table leaves and we're thinking we're about to get sat. She goes to the table and seats another family. After being on a wait list for an hour and waiting in the restaurant for an additional 45 minutes she gives the table to another party. At this point I was bit upset. One hour and 45 minutes later and our table gets given away to a family that walked in 45 minutes after we got there. I approached the manager and she tells me they had a reservation, which they don't do reservations. Then she says she told the guy that he could not assign us that table. I then asked why she didn't communicate that to me 45 minutes earlier and she just looks at me and says well you're next now. Not acceptable. I saw the waitlist, this family was not ahead of us. They were either friends of hers or friends of someone she knew. That's is not how you treat people. Our wait list said 45 minutes and we waited for an hour and 45 minutes. My daughter even fell asleep while we waited. You need to have a fair system not give priority to people you know when others have been waiting for nearly two hours. What's worse is the lack of accountability and not even an apology. It's a shame because we like the food there. Maybe it was an off night. Not sure. Just disappointed because this is not the experience we expected from Finneys. read more

This is a review for takeout out only. I love Finney's but haven't been to this location before. I ordered food to go; however, by the time we arrived at the restaurant, the order hadn't been put in yet (30 minutes prior). We waited around 20+ minutes. The manager was very apologetic and reimbursed me one burgers worth (which I appreciated that he was making things right). The food was wonderful as always! My husband really enjoyed the KĀLUA PORK CARNITAS $12 [Pickled onions, slaw, cilantro, kimchi dressing, wasabi aioli]. The portions were decent for the cost. My friend and I both ordered the NEW BLACK TRUFFLE BURGER* $14 [Truffle cheese, onions, crispy shiitake mushrooms, truffle aioli]. The burger was cooked a little more done than I prefer, but it was still good! The truffle flavor is more on the subtle side. We both ended up ordering Truffle fries $4, which I do think are overpriced. Overall, despite the mishap, the food was good, and (even though we were only waiting and not technically dining in), the atmosphere was lively! ... If you're in a rush, parking can be a bit difficult to find even though the lot is huge. read more

Just stopped in for Happy Hour (M-F, 3-5) and I had a great time!! Had some time to kill and I had previously visited the Santa Barbara location, so I had high expectations. The hostess greeted me right away and offered a spot at the bar for HH. The bartender, Ari, acknowledged me quickly and soon after offered a menu and asked if he could get me started with anything. I went with the Watermelon Smash and Steak Taquitos, both incredibly good and hit the spot. I noticed a couple next to me enjoying the hard seltzer on tap, and gave it a try - wow!! Definitely recommend as well. The bar area and dining tables seemed to all be pretty busy at 3:30pm, and the HH pricing is really worth a visit, because the food/drinks are incredible! this is my absolute favorite restaurant. their lobster rolls are fabulous and i always get the hot honey wings. the staff is so kind and they work quickly. my food is always phenomenal and hot! the place itself is clean and spacious. its nice and dimmed in some areas while in others its a little brighter. the outside seating is also very nice. amazing place and will go back again and again. i have gone multiple times and rave about this place. amazing! read more

Me and my buddies swung by before a movie and sat at the bar because there was a bit of a wait. (Hostess said that we could sit there with no wait... It was the best thing that could've happened to us :) Kyle and Lauren were incredible! Personable and efficient they'd swing by to check in, say a joke, make a drink, input orders and go make another drink; they NEVER STOPPED moving. Also, the food was super great! Came out hot and delicious, and there wasn't that "auctioning off" that often happens when I sit at a bar. Couldn't recommend this place more highly, and ask for Kyle an "Irish Maid"! Came here after a movie night and the host was nice enough to accommodate me and my gf 15 min before closing time. We ordered appetizers and drinks. Coconut shrimp and chicken and waffle were very tasty and cooked just right. Drinks were pretty good as well. We got great service from our young waitress (don't know her name but has beautiful tattoos on her arms) that made some suggestions and the place was nice and clean and the price was decent. Great server and staff! Came in for Mother's Day and a birthday. Fast, easy service and everything was clean and organized at our table. We had some special requests (sauces and toppings on the side, etc.) and they were cheerful and accommodating. I think next time we'll order our Mahi Mahi tacos with no tortillas, just chips. Took my brother to Finney's to celebrate his birthday. We felt a welcoming ambiance as soon as we walked in. We were immediately impressed when we saw thirty craft beers on tap and a menu that has something for everyone. I devoured my Jalapeño Egg Burger, but I was eyeing my brother's Trip-Tip Tacos with fresh corn tortillas. The service was excellent from host to server even though the place was packed. This is a great location with delicious food and appreciated service. To start you have to partake in the bacon deviled eggs which has Candied bacon and sriracha. The taste will be appreciated by your taste buds. The salads are just as delicious especially their italian chopped salad which has romaine, salami, provolone, cucumbers, garbanzos, peperoncinis, onions, tomatoes, kalamata olives, parmesan, and red wine vinaigrette. The main courses are prime as the pastrami reuben has Hand-cut hot pastrami, swiss, slaw, dijon and russian dressing, rye. They have other choices as well but this would be a great starter.
