We've been coming here since they opened, regularly, and we've noticed a steady decline. The staff turns over quite a bit. The food quality has slipped and the attention of the wait staff is lacking. This place is awesome, the drinks are incredible and the food is just as well! Service is also really good, everyone is so positive and energetic. I sat at the bar during their happy hour and although the bartenders were very busy I always received my drinks very quickly. The Margarita flight is pretty good. Their hibiscus Margarita and guava margarita are delicious. With that being said, the drinks are good, but the food is subpar. It's okay for a bar, but I definitely would not come here for food. I came with three people and none of us cared for the dishes we ordered, and we tried quite a few dishes including appetizers. Decided to give this place a try, from the photos of the food and drinks, it looked good! Well good was not enough to describe it, after about an hour wait, we finally got in and immediately ordered different appetizers and drinks. They were AMAZING! Tasty bites and delicious drinks, everything was so good. The service was so fast and fantastic! I absolutely loved how the manager that night Stacy was soooo attentive to us and all tables. She checked on everyone over and over with a smile and making conversation, that's how a manager should be at all restaurants. Overall, Finneys is extremely average. We tried a sandwich, a flatbread pizza, and some cheesesteak eggrolls, and everything was just okay. Nothing to complain about, but nothing I would come back for, either. I'd say the same about the service: the staff wasn't particularly mean or nice, just took our order and went on their way. Food was good, nothing spectacular. We got the truffle burger and fries. Service was ok. For a Thursday, after Happy Hour, it was still busy. Waiter only came around once to refill waters but barely checked on us. Ambiance is ok- for a newish restaurant the leather seats were ripped and the floors were sticky. Overall experience was ok. Would I come back? Maybe. It's something to experience though but I'd def avoid rush hour. read more

Living in the San Fernando Valley, there are a ton of casual eateries around the area which are fantastic. But when the Vineyards in Porter Ranch opened up, it brings a fine dining experience in the area and I absolutely love it. I bring to you all my report of this fine establishment and my overall experience dining here. COVID Precautions: Once we walked to their front counter, our temperature was taken before entering and every single staff member was wearing a face mask/face guard along with gloves. Definitely are practicing great safety measures. Ambiance: Nice mix of casual and fine dining with a twist. Due to seating arrangements, they were not serving groups at full capacity so there is a bit of a wait, but the Vineyards is so beautiful you can relax outside their seating areas and relax until your seat is ready. Beautiful establishment with a fairly large indoor bar area. Cant wait to sit there when their fully open one day! Drinks: Solid selection of beer that are categorized in favor of what your taste buds are craving. They also have a solid selection of cocktails. Overall, their drink selection is on point with plenty of options. I went with one of their beer selections (14 Cannons Peanut Butter Cup) and was happy with my choice. Food: We ended up ordering some appetizers and kept things pretty simple. We ordered the onion ring tower, chicken & waffle bites and the buffalo cauliflower. The onion ring tower came with an array of dipping sauces. The onion rings were cooked perfectly. The chicken & waffle bites had a maple butter glaze around it and was wonderful. The chicken was perfectly cooked and accompanied the waffle well. The buffalo cauliflower was my favorite appetizer and was recommended by the server and she wasn't wrong there. It was my wife's birthday and they were nice enough to give us one of their ice cream sundaes with a candle and wished my wife a happy birthday. Parking: No problem whatsoever. Since it is within the Vineyards, you will not run into any parking issues here. All in all, a wonderful experience all around. I will be back to celebrate more occasions here! read more

We came here for Memorial Day, and were pleasantly surprised with only a 20 minute wait for lunch time. I thought it would have been busier over the holiday. It was our first time coming here and breaking in this new location. I opted for the Spicy Berry Margarita. Our excellent waitress offered to put a tajin rim to make it extra spicy. I loved it! Also, I tried their Truffle Burger and it was to die for! The fact that I can get tater tots with it too.. Safe to say my day was made. The food and drinks both came out fast as well. It was a great meal and luckily we got our drinks on happy hour. We will definitely be returning and we love this new addition, it was much needed in Porter Ranch. New Finney's Crafthouse in the Valley? Yes please! We've been to the Ventura location and it's always been good. I ordered the Finney Burger. Wife got the Bison Burger. Side of onion rings too. Before our food came I used the restroom. The tiles in front of the urinal are already scratched up from some piece of shit with a pocket knife. Way to go. Really people of the Valley? Open just one week? This is why we can't have nice things in the SFV. Burgers arrive. Yeah! Not a bad looking burger but I will say a little on the smaller side. Nothing like the pictures on the website. My Finney burger eats small too. I ate half in no time. It's an okay burger. Wolfed the other half a few minutes later. I expected more. I'm guessing a 5oz patty? Most restaurant burgers are 8oz. This burger might be fine for most people but if your a big guy and hold off on apps and just get the burger I'm betting you might still be a bit hungry. For now I'm afraid the Big Wave Burger from Islands across the street and the Old Fashion Burger from Cheesecake are both superior to the Finney Burger. Wife got the Bison burger and it was overcooked and the bun was hard. She ate most of it and left most of the bun. The manager checked in with us and she told him the Bison burgers short comings. He was quick to remove it from our bill and give a card for a free app or dessert. Appreciated! We both felt the onion rings were okay at best. For $4.00 you get exactly four onion rings. They were not hot. $1.00 a ring seems like too much. I'm stoked we have a Finneys and am confident they will improve over time. Lure is soon to open in the same parking lot. Nice! The cheesesteak egg roll was probably my prefer dish here. Their Yuzu Buffalo Wings was my entrée and I did not enjoy it at all. My friend and I finally got to try this place tonight. They don't take reservation so it's first come first serve. When I checked in around 5pm, I was told the wait would be about 30 minutes and you give them your number so when your table is ready, they'll text you. I started out with the chessesteak egg rolls and they were okay but I didn't not like their Yuzu Buffalo Wings. They don't tell you how many pieces you get, they say it's by weight but I got 8 pieces. The wings didn't have a lot of meat and the overall texture with the sauce was not tasty to me. This review is only on their wait time. People were friendly. Didn't get to try the food. I understand the delay due to covid. But 2 hour wait for a table for 4 on a Tuesday is ridiculous. Especially when they tell you the wait is only 1 hour. We were waiting in the patio area and had some "to-go" drinks while the kids played in the play area. After an hour of waiting the receptionist said theres 11 parties ahead of us. Kids complained that they were hungry already. Thank God for reliable ol' In-N-Out. I have always been a fan of Finneys Westlake...unfortunately our experience here at the new Porter Ranch location was only 3 star worthy "for now" Not very accommodating for large parties-9 of us waited 1.5 hrs on a Tuesday evening and they really struggled with organizing how to seat us. I know they were waiting for people to leave but when I witnessed what the hostesses did with a patio seating option, truly a poor choice I was frustrated... there was a four top open and another adjacent table nearby was obviously leaving soon yet they sat two people at the four top and within 10 minutes the other table opened up? Ugh! We waited at least another 15 minutes after that... The drinks were great and Abigail the bartender took great care of us! Our waitress was also amazing (so sorry can't remember her name) Appetizers were good! Loved the onion ring tower! They did over cook our 3 orders of coconut shrimp, fried it a bit too long :o( still was good and being that we were all starving there was no way we were going to complain or send it back. My pastrami Rubin, while it was quite flavorful was disappointing, the meat was thick sliced which I find strange for pastrami, it was tough and had a lot of fat-thick fat! Yuck! So...much of my sandwich inners ended up on my plate. I chose not to complain or send it back as I was starving and just wanted to enjoy. Everyone else was happy with their food. Family and I have been coming here since it open in Porter Ranch. Today we got there 1:10 the hostess told us 10 to 15 minutes. We saw two couples who "accidentally " got ahead of us. We know because we heard the hostess clarified it with her co worker, their mistake. I completely understand mistakes happen, we do them all the time. However, when we approached and asked again, how much longer would be the hostess seemed bothered. She again told us 10 to 15 minutes we did clarify to her that had already been waiting almost 20 minutes. She was, visually bothered by us asking at which point I did bring to her attention they had made a mistake and put two other groups before us. She said they had already checked in.. it was clear that they had not checked in. Again I understand mistakes happen however, if you would've been an upfront and honest"sorry we messed up we would've understood. She was bothered So we decided to leave. I went to Finney's on a Saturday night and the bar had several open seats. Was immediately greeted by the bartenders and ordered the Yuzu Buffalo Wings (boneless) ($14) and the Mai Tai ($14) by recommendations. I have no complaints about either item. The Wings were mildly spicy and the quality of the chicken was great (no fat). The bartender was friendly, attentive and didn't push my group to order any more items. We come here often. Friday late night, at the front desk, we had a bad experience with the person taking names and managing the waitlist. We were quoted over an hour and a half for our group of 10 and told we would most likely not get seated before they closed. I tried to break up our group into a party of 6 and 4 and shared we were happy to sit on the patio. The front desk person said that it wouldn't help at all. She was unhelpful and unfriendly. She tried to dissuade us from putting our name on the list and I found this to be so rude. She could've even told us to put our name and check back but we got nothing from her. My friend added her name anyways and we ended up going to another restaurant who had a friendly front desk person who was helpful (and they were just as busy). So disappointing! read more

I'm a big Finneys fan. I've visited many locations and I can't think of a bad time I've had. I've been to the Porter Ranch location quite a few times and the food has always been so delicious, no matter what I order. I went yesterday for my 25th bday and we feasted on the garlic parmesan wings (one of my favs), the carnitas nachos, and the loaded tots. Everything was super good! I really love the Nashville chicken sliders so I think next time I'd get them instead of the loaded tots, but that's just my personal preference. I really love the drinks here. Usually I order the Raspberry Smash or strawberry Fields, but my bf and I got Cadillac Margaritas and they were intense! I had two and had a wonderful night lol. The service is good! Our waitress was very kind and helpful and even staff that passed by our table were helpful, grabbing us napkins when they noticed we needed them. The atmosphere is like a trendy American food joint, with lots of TVs to watch sports and fun bar seating.
