Typically I'm not the hugest fan of sports bar restaurant types, however this place is delicious! Everything came out so fresh and piping hot. The flavor was definitely there, I finished the entire thing and normally I don't ever finish all of my food. The service was great as well, they were pretty busy this day but our waitress came and checked on us a lot and assured us that the food was coming up. There was always someone around to collect the dishes once we were done with them and they weren't in the way on the table. Highly recommend checking this place out. I wouldn't recommend based on my recent experience. I ordered a hamburger and asked for it to be cooked medium, with no pink. It first came out undercooked, and when I sent it back, it returned completely overdone--very dry and lacking in flavor. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't seem very attentive or concerned. He didn't check in to see if everything was okay or offer any alternatives. The service felt indifferent, and that really affected the overall experience. I rarely leave reviews like this, but I was disappointed. I understand that working in a restaurant is hard--I truly do. But when I see the young staff at In-N-Out working outside in the heat, or the teams at Cane's and Chick-fil-A offering service with a genuine smile and always asking if there's anything else I need, it reminds me how far good customer service can go. Parking was a challenge- the lot was small and full so, we ended up parking a couple blocks away in a parking structure. We were fine with the walk, but if you have issues walking this is something to be aware of. Service started of good, but quickly went downhill. The appetizers were cold, and midway through our server disappeared. She was busy chatting with the table next to us, exchanging high fives and soaking up compliments- entertaining to watch, but not great when two of us (in party of seven) still hadn't received our food. Eventually, a different staff member came over to tell us she handed us off to him. Usually; a server would let you know personally, but she seemed more interested in the attention from the other table. We weren't impressed with the food or menu. A friend and I went for lunch on a weekend and I ordered the Chinese chicken salad, which was a new menu item. She ordered a pastrami sandwich. My salad was blobs of items on a platter which included unseasoned chicken, spiral pasta, canned mandarin, oranges, and some lettuce. It had no flavor, and when I asked for a different dressing, our server sent the manager over who took my salad back and asked what he could do to make it right for me. My friend offered me the other half of her sandwich, which was delicious and he took the salad off of our bill. As I told him I was a first time customer to Finney's. He also gave me a card for a free entrée the next time I was there. It was a good experience overall, but I felt bad for the person who created that unusual combination for a chicken salad. read more

What a great place! I was there on 1/29/25 and had Great Food (tri-tip tacos, wings, and coconut shrimp were all amazing), and great craft beer! This restaurant showed up as a hot, new spot on Yelp so I had to check it out. My husband and I showed up on a Friday afternoon and were sat immediately. The menu had a lot of exciting items and honestly we debated back and forth on what to try. We started off with the lobster rolls. Full stop, they were not good. We also got the poke nachos and for whatever reason they came without sauce and were dry. We asked for sauce and that helped the cause. The Gary's pepperoni was ok, but pretty greasy. I feel like we will give it another shot because maybe she should have just stayed with the tried and true --burgers and wings. Stopped in for lunch to try Finney's and had a good experience. The staff was amazing; very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The place was very clean and had a great atmosphere for food, drinks and fun. There's a small game room in the vault which I thought was really cool (the building use to be a bank). I love a good espresso martini and Finney's did not disappoint. The espresso martini here is comparable in taste and quality to high end bars in Vegas. Amazing! My family is obsessed with this restaurant. We meet here often and could not be more pleased with the food as well as the service. Five stars for first impressions! Everything, from the greeting to being sat at our table to our waitress was superb. Obviously this is a new restaurant in town, training is new but they did it right. We sat out on the patio, super nice and relaxing. They have misters which is welcomed during the hot afternoons. Food was pretty tasty, I had the mushroom pizza, my daughter and husband both had chicken sandwiches and my other daughter had a pepperoni pizza. We also tried the espresso martini, so good! Truly excellent place. I really have enjoyed every single thing on the menu at this place thus far. This is a perfect restaurant in Redlands in my opinion. My only issue is that it's so popular that the waits can take a while and that they don't take reservations. I bleieve the party size limit is 8 people. I saw in the other reviews that people were given inaccurate wait times from the host/hostess. I had a similar experience, but I think it can be really challenging at a new place to estimate wait times. They're doing the best they can. You can check your spot in line online which is very nice. You can get a drink while you're waiting. I wouldn't personally worry about it too much. read more

Came here on a Sat afternoon with my husband for a late lunch, they were very busy but we only had to wait about 10-15mins for a table. First kudos - while we waited someone came around and asked if they could get some drinks for us while we wait. Once we got seated we decided we wanted wings for a appetizer but couldn't agree on what kind so my husband orders buffalo bone in and I got wingless chipotle. They came out quickly. The Bone in were a really good sized! It was interesting because they're not covered in sauce like you typically see, it was as if the buffalo was in the breading. Husband liked them. The chipotle were very good too but I do think they could have had more sauce, still good! For our main dishes, my husband got the Wagyu burger w/truffle fries and I got the Finney Burger wrapped in lettuce w/ tater tots. I am very pregnant so I ordered my burger well done, however a few bites I noticed it was no where near well done in the middle (they're thicker hand made patties I think). I let the waitress know, she was very apologetic and said she would take it back and asked if I would like another one or to have it taken off the bill, I was already fairly full and I knew I wouldn't eat another so I told her not to worry about it. A few minutes later a manager came to the table to apologize and ask again if I would like it remade or if they could get us anything else on the house but since we were both full we said thanks but no thanks and he let us know they would take it off the bill. I was pleasantly surprised when we got the bill and they had removed the burger as well as one of our orders of wings AND before we packed up to leave our waitress came by and said they remade it anyways and offered it to us in a to-go box! We were very impressed with their customer service, you NEVER get service like this anymore! They went above and beyond to make it right and it didn't go unnoticed! Just wow! It's opening week, and I've been here two days in a row. Came here with a girlfriend, came here with my husband tonight. It's fantastic! I'm gonna start with the people that make it a success, because that's what really makes a restaurant great. Service was awesome. Maribel was my sever both days, and she did an amazing job. All the staff were fantastic. I recognized a few people from other places, so this tells me management makes it a point to hire experienced staff. It shows. The manager was hands-on, surveying the floor, making sure that everything was operating the way it should, and ensuring customer satisfaction. So far, food is excellent. A few things that I would recommend: The mini Ahi tuna tacos. Packed with flavor, a great crunch. It's listed as an appetizer, but it also works as a light meal. I would highly recommend. The Ahi tuna nachos. Really good, I loved the big blocks of tuna, edamame, however, I think the red peppers were a bit spicy. Still, just amazing, I would highly recommend. The wings! Meaty, crispy, full of flavor. When we want wings, we're coming back here. The crispy chicken sandwich. It was OK. I probably wouldn't get it again, but I really enjoyed it. I just wanna try other things next time. The Wagyu hamburger. OMG! This is something you just have to get. My husband said he would get this every single time. I'm still looking for my my go to, so we've agreed that he'll always get the burger, and I'll always try something new. The homemade chips are amazing. The tater tots, Meh. Probably wouldn't get those again. Lastly, there's the beer, what a selection! Lots of rotating breweries, we just stuck with Finney's homebrews, and they were amazing. I had the Irish red, and would come back for that again. The husband had IPAs, and he loved them. Super fresh, Just so tasty. Great place to grab a brew, and watch the games! Love the atmosphere. Finneys has a good menu lots to chose from... the acoustics could be better... it's loud inside. I like the wagyu burger and pepperoni pizza. The margarita flight is fun. You get a nice taste of their popular Margie's . We have been a few times and had to wait no more than 20 minutes to get seated. The weird thing is the services small tables for 2. There's hardly enough room to spread out... Both times we have been the servers are super attentive up to the point of ordering your food after that, they're MIA And you just pay at the table. It's alittle off putting when you're going to add your tip and the server doesn't come back around to say thank you or anything. Again the food and drinks are good though.. we will most likely go back and try some other food on the menu. read more

We love Finney's food and bar offerings. This would be rated a 5 if it wasn't for the fact that the noise level inside is ridiculous. Outside would be perfect but the music is so loud you can't speak to the person sitting next to you! We have asked repeatedly if the music outside can be turned down with a negative response each time. The front patio seems a bit quieter but you can only order drinks. Sadly we will not be returning unless the outside music can be turned down enough to at least hear the people at your own table speak without shouting. My husband and I were pretty excited to try this place, but we're super impressed... the service was subpar. I can't remember my servers name, but we had to ask several people for a refill on ice tea because she forgot, and then never came back. She didn't check to see if the food was good, or if we needed anything else. She could definitely use some training, in my personal opinion. Appetizers: 1. Buffalo Cauliflower - this was sooo good! I highly recommend. I'm pretty picky about my Buffalo sauce, but Finny's was great! The cauliflower was cooked to perfection. I would absolutely order this again! 2. Poke Nachos - for $14 there should have been more poke. Also, the flavor just was not there. It was pretty bland. They should include more toppings, and maybe a Sriracha sauce? Dinner: 1. The Bison Burger - the meat was good, however, the bacon jam has a really overpowering maple flavor. It's very sweet, especially on the outside of the burger where the gouda melts out. 2. Peggy's Crispy Chicken - this was pretty good. 3. The Wedge Salad - this is a side upgrade for $5. I was so excited because I absolutely love wedge salads. My husband and I often order one to split when going out to eat. But this? THIS is NOT a wedge salad. A wedge is called a wedge BECAUSE of its shape... this is a chopped salad with corn. I hate corn.... Not to mention the lettuce was over saturated in dressing, didn't taste fresh, and was soggy. I honestly didn't think it was possible to mess up a wedge salad. It's a classic with simple ingredients. Over all: I think this restaurant has a lot of potential. I also feel like they put a twist on things to make their food stand out, which it does, but I think it works against them. It's okay to have simple classic dishes on your menu. Love this place. The food. The drinks. The service. And the TVs! They also have a really cute outdoor seating that is dog friendly. We came here just to see and we came back the next day! I have loved all my food except my BBQ burger. The bun was super soggy :( and the texture felt like wet bread. But everything else has been really good. I love the pizzas, onion rings, and the fish burger. I will say that some things are spicy! So double check to make sure your dish won't be that spicy. I'm glad this is now in redlands read more

We just tried to eat at Finney's at 7:30 pm on a Tuesday. They said they would have to check with the manager to see if they could seat any more tables because they close at 9. My husband and I came to Finneys for the first time to have a late lunch around 2 PM. The food was AMAZING!!! So good! Unfortunately, our waitress was only about getting us DRUNK! My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a water, only to have the waitress continuously ask us if we wanted shots! No we don't as we told you when you took our order. She was extremely unprofessional and calling everyone "Baby" doesn't make things better. If this is the service I may not come back which is sad because the food was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised how fast the service was. They also have one of the managers walking around and were making sure all drinks were full, great service. SO happy Finney's made its way to historic Redlands. It opened this week and the staff is energetic & friendly. Hoping it does stay that way. The food was delicious, great place for after church or a date night. Parking may be the most difficult thing about the location but walking in downtown Redlands is nice so I wouldn't dock a star for that. Wow simply wow. Large place with lots of TVs and great music playing. We sat at the bar and saw the bartenders working non stop but kept a great attitude and conversation while doing it. We had the wagu burger and wings. Both very good. The old fashion was delicious but not very much. I wish it could have been in a larger glass.
