I ate dinner here last night and I enjoyed every moment of it. The restaurant was nicely decorated. Our waiter was amazing I can't remember his name but I appreciate the customer service you provide. The food was delicious no complaints at all. We ordered Nashville hot chicken sliders, shrimp tacos, lobster rolls and truffle fries. We have been here several times. Each time has been a different meal and we have not been disappointed. The service is good, it would be better if the wait staff would come by more to see if you need something, refills, order something additional, etc. I would give the waiting staff 4 stars out of 5 as they are almost at a 5. The place is decorated nicely and that vault that was left behind when the bank left they turned it into a game room which is cool. Hey Yelp Fam!! Wife and I took out our daughter and her bestie to Finney's. It's my wife and I 's first time but it's one of my daughters favorite places which is why were here lol. For starters we had the Brussel Sprouts w/figs was so good! The crispy Brussel Sprouts and the sweet fig combination was money!, Buffaloed Cauliflower had a nice texture crispy outside and tender inside and the sauce was the kicker!and the Coconut Shrimp crispy plumpy juicy! Need I say more! And for our entree's my wife had the Cobb Salad, my daughter ordered chicken wings, my daughter's friend had the Chipotle chicken which looked amazing and I had the Prime Rib Cheesesteak which was on the small size surprisingly disappointing. The flavor was decent but the portion not so much. The drinks were great I had the Cider my wife had a Bloody Mary my daughter and her friend had watermelon shooters all great drinks. We had a great time at Finney's!! We came with a group of 20 people doing the 12 bars of Christmas. The staff was cool and in great spirits especially our waiter. Even through the place was packed and this was our 3rd or fourth bar, our service was fast and our waiter had a great attitude. We enjoyed dog friendly dining here for dinner on the patio. The indoor dining is very spacious both with table booths and at the bar. Service was friendly. My wife and I have always enjoyed Finney's in Redlands. Prior to this visit, we had dined here approximately four times on separate occasions and consistently had positive experiences. The food has always been well-prepared, the atmosphere enjoyable, and the staff generally kind and accommodating. Because of those past experiences, Finney's felt like a safe and reliable choice. On Sunday, the 21st, my mother was visiting from out of town, and after church we decided to bring her to Finney's when other options nearby did not seem appealing. Confident in our past experiences, we expected another enjoyable meal. We were seated promptly, and our server was polite and moderately attentive. We ordered the chicken and waffle appetizer for the table, which arrived first and was quite good. For our main courses, I ordered the Philly steak sandwich with fries, my wife ordered a Caesar salad and a Wagyu burger, and my mother ordered the Philly steak sandwich with fries as well. We also had mixed lemonades and tea. Our 12-month-old was prepared to share fries, and my wife who is pregnant was very much looking forward to the meal. When the main courses arrived, we began eating. Shortly after, my mother reached into the ketchup and mustard holder on the table and a roach ran out from inside the condiment caddy. The staff member who came to remove the condiments visibly saw the bug as well. At that moment, our appetite was immediately gone. My wife requested to speak with a manager. The manager did come over and apologized; however, instead of simply acknowledging the issue and resolving it, he focused heavily on explaining what he believed the insect was, where it might have come from, and emphasizing that it did not originate from the kitchen. At that point, the explanations were unnecessary and unwelcome. The presence of a live insect at the table particularly in the condiment container was enough to warrant concern on its own. The manager did decide to cover the bill, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, after that interaction, service effectively stopped. Our server did not return, the manager did not follow up, and no one checked on us further. We were left sitting at the table feeling ignored, uncomfortable, and unsure how to proceed. The only person who stepped in to assist us afterward was the hostess. She went well beyond the scope of her role to make sure we had what we needed and treated us with kindness, patience, and genuine care. Her professionalism stood out significantly and deserves recognition. This experience was deeply disappointing not only because of the insect itself, but because of how the situation was handled afterward. While issues can happen in any restaurant, the response, follow-through, and guest care afterward are what truly matter. In this case, management and service staff failed to properly support guests who had a very valid concern, while the hostess demonstrated the level of hospitality one would hope to receive. We have always enjoyed Finney's, which is why this experience was so unfortunate. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used constructively to improve guest care and management response moving forward. read more

Don't order food to be picked up. We ordered our food to be picked up and we received a pick up time. We get there 10 mins past the pick up time and our food still isn't ready. So we wait, expecting it to come out in the next 10 or so minutes. Wrong!! We waited 50 minutes for our food to come out! We live 5 minutes from the restaurant so we were expecting hot to almost hot food once we got home. The food wasn't even warm. I ordered the southwest bowl and the rice was cold, not cold like they pulled it from a fridge cold, but like it had been sitting for more than an hour and lost its heat. The to go container felt like it had hot rice in it at one point, if you've ever taken food home from the restaurant you know the containers I'm talking about (compostable ones) We called the restaurant to make a manager aware and their reply was "you can come back and get freshly made hot food" the whole point of picking up was because I was short on time, it was supposed to be ready by the time we got back into Redlands so I could have a quick-ish dinner with my husband before heading off to work. I explained to her that I had to go to work and she laughed a little and repeated herself with "you can come back and pick up freshly made food that'll be hot for you". That was the only offer, no half refund or how can I make it right, she was just set on giving us freshly made HOT food. I get that maybe that's the only thing she might be allowed to do or offer, but aside from waiting 50 minutes for cold food, there was no sincerity to her apology, so it felt like she wanted to brush off the phone call and continue laughing with her coworkers which is what was going on in the background. The food there is really good, but this interaction was not right from start to finish. If you've made it this far, don't get their Caesar salad. It's the only thing on the menu that's been consistently bad. read more

While much of my original review stands, we had a terrible experience on their patio where a table of four was so loud and vulgar that we could not hear each other talk. I wish I was exaggerating, but it was as though they were attempting to be as loud and obnoxious as humanly possible, as if it were a bet. We let staff know twice and even moved a table farther away, but servers continued to serve alcohol to them even though they were already pretty clearly trashed. I hope they took an Uber. When I asked one of them about it, they said "they are regulars." I did call in later that day, and the manager was genuinely apologetic and promised they would review the footage and talk to the involved staff. In the meantime, this will be my review until we decide to go back and give them another try. If we have a solid experience then, I'll update back to a strong rating. read more

Great location, especially during happy hour. We have come to happy hour many times and have never received bad service. Some dishes we love: Bavarian pretzel. Big puffy pretzel with a good assortment of sauces. Ahi tuna tacos in wonton shell. The flavors are great and I love the flaky crispy shell. Flatbread pizza. Nice and crispy thin pizza Chicken and waffles. Breading is good and chicken is moist. Waffle is sweet and not too heavy. Shoestring truffle French fries. My second time visiting and I'm simply impressed. The staff has been upbeat and very passionate about the product. They have been eager to share their favorite food and beverage selections, which is greatly appreciated. This time we shared a Bavarian Pretzel...so delicious. The dipping sauces are chefs kiss! We also had the Finney Burger with onion rings: the burger was simple, straightforward and delicious. Their onions rings, WOW! Perfectly breaded, crispy for that crunch and well cooked onion inside. And the ketchup, hit it out of the park! The Chipotle Chicken sandwich...so much flavor and texture. Finney's Crafthouse in Redlands is a great spot for delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere. The location is in a building that used to be a bank. They even have a game room in the old safety deposit vault. I ordered the Caesar Salad with Seared Ahi Tuna and was thoroughly impressed. The salad was fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed, with just the right amount of tangy Caesar dressing. The seared ahi tuna was the star of the dish--beautifully cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The portion was generous, and the combination of the fresh greens and savory tuna made for a delightful meal. The presentation was also top-notch. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to an all-around great dining experience. If you're in Redlands and looking for a fantastic meal, I highly recommend trying the Caesar Salad with Seared Ahi Tuna at Finney's Crafthouse. Be aware, it gets crowded around lunchtime. Came here with my friends and we were sat immediately at a booth. The food was really good and filling, I recommend the chicken and waffles. The tacos were large and so delicious as well. Unfortunately, my friend has a dietary restriction that our server failed to take caution of. Her order was brought out incorrectly THREE times after telling our server about the issue. Our server immediately blamed it on the kitchen even though we didn't ask or care, we just wanted our food after waiting 40 minutes. Our server also never came around to ask how we were doing and never refilled our water, I resorted to drinking my friend's since the server was nowhere to be found. The service was extremely lackluster. We brought this up to the manager who assisted us greatly, apologized, and fully remedied the situation. Our server Daven did a great job, especially with as many of us that were there... we sat out in the outside, which was nice because we could be loud and enjoy each other... The food was good, I loved my Ahi poke bowl and coconut shrimp but do not waste your money on their cocktails... My margarita was all ice. I have never had a burger that tasted so badly. The patty had no flavor! Literally the meat absolutely had no seasoning and the fried jalapeño was chewy like gum. I couldn't get myself to finish the burger after my initial bite. My husband ordered tri tip sandwich and he said the same exact thing, also weirdly his sandwich looked like a fajita style meat sandwich, it was not Tr tip. The tater tots and chips were bland, not even salt on them. My daughter had chicken tenders and thats what i was the most upset about. Cmon man don't serve burnt chicken tenders, they were the worst looking chicken tenders I've ever seen, oddly enough it was the only meal that had seasoning though. With Diane I visited here for the first time. I was pleased to see Bacon Deviled Eggs on the menu for a starter. The egg halves were filled with leaking egg yolk and bacon, and were creamy and very good. Diane found Peggy's Crispy Chicken Sandwich to be too spicy for her taste, even though she was told when ordering that this chicken was not spicy. But my Pastrami Rueben was moist, lean, and just right. I liked the Regular French fries better than the Truffle French Fries. Service was friendly and responsive. Booth seating was comfortable. Unlike the outside finished stone and dark glass appearance, the inside has a warmer vibe with dark wood exposed ceiling rafters, weathered red brick walls, distressed dark wood columns but with the pop of a very light floor and bleached wood table tops (see my interior pics). The interior lighting features the bar and "Old Glory" in the background. The vibe was very upbeat, very loud and peppy music. The staff was quick and attentive. We started with the Buffalo Cauliflower (it's tagged as one of the "Finney's Favorites"). As you can see in my pic, the cauliflower was nicely cut up, battered and deep fried. The breading was fairly light and it was deep fried all the way through. Of course, the cauliflower doesn't have much taste, and unfortunately neither did the breading. The fried cauliflower was drizzled with very weak Louisiana hot sauce (similar to Frank's hot sauce). This sauce and the blue cheese crumbles helps. Our side was more of the light Louisiana hot sauce. Barely visible in my pic, is a thin layer of Yuzu (a sweet, sharp, salty fruity) sauce under the fried cauliflower. While creamy, its flavor was very, very mild and made the cauliflower on it soggy. We also shared the Moroccan Salad (it's tagged as one of the "Finney's Favorites"). As you can see from my pic, this had an abundant variety of ingredients. It had all the requisite ingredients from Morocco. The dried cherries were the main palate pleaser: they added a nice chew to the greens and a burst of flavor to contrast with the feta cheese. The charred lemon vinaigrette was refreshingly lemony and tangy. We followed this with the Sausage & Garlic pizza (we asked to have the chili flakes omitted), see my pic. The flat bread pizza was a good sized individual pizza. The flat bread crust was nicely thin, yet universally cooked with a great crunch. It held up very well with the moist cheese. There were was a great chew with the crust. The garlic in the garlic parmesan cheese was nonexistent. The sausage was moist but fairly bland. The onions had a mild flavor. Next time we'd keep the pepper flakes on our order. The pie was served hot and kept its heat throughout the meal. We took leftovers home, and it was good the next day. read more
