We have been hesitant to try this place It is very, very good. I love the carnitas nachos and the chicken and waffles. Now, for me the chicken and waffles does not look inviting but it tastes so good. The wings are so so and my guy didn't like the sliders (they were over charred almost blackened). The food came out fairly quickly and didn't feel like a long wait. The front desk wasn't as hospitable as I thought, but overall great customer experience. There is a large bar area for beers and heard it's a great place for that! Tons of seating indoors and a large family-style table outside with heaters. FOOD: The food reminded me of Yard House with their appetizers, egg rolls, lobster rolls, flatbread, and spice cauliflower. It was very delicious! We have been here several times. Each time has been a different meal and we have not been disappointed. The service is good, it would be better if the wait staff would come by more to see if you need something, refills, order something additional, etc. I would give the waiting staff 4 stars out of 5 as they are almost at a 5. The place is decorated nicely and that vault that was left behind when the bank left they turned it into a game room which is cool. Not sure I would rave about this place. First parking and the front door is around the corner facing a busy corner,that's for optics not the customer experience. We had our dog so a plus is seating outside that does have TVS and shade although it's picnic tables. The food was just Ok not even wanting me to try a second time.. Decided to give the newest restaurant in Redlands a try. Upon walking in, all of the staff members were friendly and this place is super clean, I mean spotless! They play a variety of music and plenty of screens to watch your favorite game on. They offer outdoor seating and a mini arcade room inside. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and they had a pretty decent cocktail menu too. I was really hoping that everything tasted as good as my expectations were and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. We started off with Hawaiian Poke Nachos, they had a nice little spicy kick to them. I also had the California Club Salad, it was delicious and the Prime Rib Cheesesteak was sooo good too! The bread is super soft. I recommend trying the tater tots as well. Our drinks were tasty but there's so many more that I need to try. All in all, this place is solid! read more

I have never had a burger that tasted so badly. The patty had no flavor! Literally the meat absolutely had no seasoning and the fried jalapeño was chewy like gum. I couldn't get myself to finish the burger after my initial bite. My husband ordered tri tip sandwich and he said the same exact thing, also weirdly his sandwich looked like a fajita style meat sandwich, it was not Tr tip. The tater tots and chips were bland, not even salt on them. My daughter had chicken tenders and thats what i was the most upset about. Cmon man don't serve burnt chicken tenders, they were the worst looking chicken tenders I've ever seen, oddly enough it was the only meal that had seasoning though. I would give Finney's a solid 4 out of 5 stars after being here a few different times. The location is in heart of downtown Redlands. There is a parking lot behind the building but there is more parking available in downtown as it is very walkable and easy to get around in this area. The restaurant might seem bigger on the outside than it is since it shares the space with another business. The bar area inside is quite large and seems to be the central focus of the restaurant. The menu has a wide range between burgers, pizzas, wings, sandwiches, and apps! Most of things things I have tried on the menu I really enjoy and I appreciate the wide variety. My favorites are the coconut shrimp and the tacos! There is a happy hour with money off of apps and select drinks from 3-5 on weekdays is definitely worth checking out if you can make the time. They also have sports playing on the tvs around the bar and restaurant. The staff are hit or miss. The hosts are not really good with their times for seating people, they will say 25 minutes and it ends up being over an hour, I wish they would just be honest upfront. You can order drinks and such if you are waiting for a table and enjoy them in the waiting areas. Also when ordering drinks at the bar recently - the lady bartenders were really interested in flirting with the college guys drinking over the other patrons. I have had some really good service here as well, so its a mixed bag. read more

In this review: Happy Hour, IPAs, wedge salad, Finney Burger, jalepeño egg burger, prosciutto and arugula pizza, vibe. The variety of Happy Hour drinks and food left everyone happy, including our wallet. Had three IPAs: Finney's Mosaic was good, but our least favorite. Ritual's Hop-O-Matic brings the hops, but just short of a true hopfest, despite the name. Tarantula Hill's Liquid Candy was the night's winner. The deconstructed wedge salad misses the mark for true wedge aficionados, so know that going in and take it for what it is, corn and all. If you're expecting the usual blue cheese and bacon flavor bomb, skip it. The Finney Burger was everything one could hope for in a basic burger--flavorful patty, fresh toppings, etc.--but nothing wow-worthy. Just good. The jalepeño egg burger ranks with some of the best. When I order prosciutto and arugula, I want sharp and salty, not sweet. The caramelized onions were an unnecessary distraction, IMO. I'd order it without next time. Otherwise, really good. The bar area looked really fun and social, but not a bar stool available, so we got a table. Overall, great vibe and outside seating available. read more

On a Tuesday night, this place was humming. Three of us were seated at a high table with three high chairs. Shorter tables were available, as were booths. The booths, by the way, were huge, easily seating as many as 8 to 10 people. The food is meh. Trendy stuff, like flatbread pizza that tastes like bacon on crackers and greasy burgers served with dry french fries. If you want a steak or chicken breast or meat loaf or any kind of comfort food, this isn't the place. Want a fancy burger or a pizza on a cracker or ahi on a salad? This is the place. If you want trendy, if you want overstimulating sensory overload, if you want a place for a casual date, this is it. Television screens abound, many of which displayed the same sports games, amidst the drone of loud music that persistently tugged at our attention. The service was good. Mark was our server and he was attentive and helpful with choosing items from the menu. The craft beers are diverse enough to satisfy any palate. Parking is abundant. It is the former site of a bank; there's a game room in the room formerly used to house the safety deposit boxes (see the pics). read more

The food looks and smells delicious, but there is no flavor! Very disappointing. We had the buffalo cauliflower appetizer, which was the best tasting item that we ordered. The batter was crispy and didn't overwhelm the cauliflower. The wasabi (?) dressing along with the blue cheese crumbles and the buffalo sauce all came together very nicely and flavorful. I ordered the mahi mahi tacos which came with two medium sized tacos on a hand pressed tortilla. The fish was on the thinner side and the batter was thin and crispy. The usual cabbage, onions, and sauce were on the tacos. The dish comes with a side of store-bought tortilla chips and I also ordered a small side of onion rings. There was a side of green salsa on the plate that I chose to leave off because it didn't have any flavor. The pros: I thought the tortilla was great, it had a little chewiness to it that was pleasant and it was toasted perfectly. The cons: Everything tasted bland. There was no flavor that really stood out. Overall I was very disappointed. My son had the Fried chicken sandwich that came with a side of potato chips and he also ordered a side of large fries. He thought it was just okay. He liked that the chicken breast patties were not dry, but juicy and cut thin and not huge like most restaurants are making them. He loved the side of sriracha ketchup that came with the fries. Other than that, he thought the sandwich needed mayo or more of the spicy aioli sauce, because it was a little dry. I ordered a raspberry lemonade which was refreshing, but it was just syrup added to the lemonade from the drink dispenser, definitely was not in-house, fresh homemade lemonade. Overall, we decided that we will not be back. This restaurant probably does best with their appetizers and alcoholic drinks. Happy Hour is from 3pm-5pm Monday-Friday, which sucks because most people work during those hours. read more

This is a new craft house in Redlands that used to be a bank and it's pretty cool because they kept the vault inside and turned it into a game room! I came here for a happy hour and they have a decent selection of drinks and food to order. I had a watermelon cocktail and it was pretty strong so you definitely get your moneys worth (lol!). It was a refreshing drink paired with a cucumber and sugar on the rim. The thin crust pizza appetizer was pretty good too. I wish it was a bit less greasy but it was a nice pairing with a cocktail. I would definitely recommend this spot to people if they are looking to have a casual hangout or happy hour. read more

This is a nice new place to eat and hang out with friends/family. I went with my mom and two family friends. My mom had steak tacos that she really enjoyed, my family friend both got the truffle burger and thought that it was good! I got a burger that had bbq sauce and onion rings. The bun was so soft and fluffy! Drinks: Old fashioned, a margarita, tonic water, and a meggerz mule (virgin). I had the meggerz mule and it was so good! So much flavor, and the candied chili mango on top was a great touch. Appetizers: the pretzel and loaded tots. The pretzel was very good. The best sauce is the cheese. First time at a Finney's and I really liked the food. My husband and I got the chicken and waffle bites appetizer and two different burgers. I really liked the waffle bites because it had this maple syrup/ gravy sauce that was really tasty! The truffle burger was good but I think the mushrooms on it were pretty rough. Flavor was there though. I really liked the sweet potato fries. They were soft, but actually tasted like sweet potato! The ranch was FIRE! Also, their strawberry lemonade was delish. I took a star (really 1/2 a star) because they seated us with our dogs right outside the door. So every time service was walking in and out, we had to move the dogs. There were like 5 other tables that would have fit us so I don't know why they didn't seat us there. But it disturbed our lunch a lot. I'd be back though! read more

I've been here a handful of times and all with different people. A great place for a date, hangout with friends, and etc. I love their food options. There's so many choices for a short menu. Yeah, kind of brilliant I think. There more finger food to have with your food than a heavy meal, but these items are so delicious and filling most bars don't offer. The prices are reasonable, too. to give the community another place for a different vibe to enjoy. The wait time was long, but if you sit in their front seating area, you can order drinks while you wait...and so we did, and so the wait time was no issue at all. AMBIANCE: This place had a really cool vibe. Kinda brewery, kinda pub. Lots of good design inside. (It is a loud place) SERVICE: The team was in full swing this evening. Came up for an overnight to see a comedy show in the area. Stopped here because I saw they had a killer happy hour menu and I couldn't refuse! I ordered "the combo" Finney burger done medium with fries and a beer for $15. What a deal!! I also ordered the loaded tater tots. My partner ordered the Margarita pizza. Everything was amazing! The service was excellent! It took about 15-20 mins to get our meal but it all came at once and every last morsel was delicious! The burger was cooked medium as requested and tasted wonderful. The roll was the perfect about of freshness and the spread was delish. The crunchy tots were amazing and had the spread, tomato, green onion, and bacon. The margarita pizza was also divine and tasty! I got a double mountain goat beer which was perfect and bold and 12% alcohol content. It took awhile to drink (and I didn't even finish) since I had all the delicious food. Food and beer came quick. I got the Brussels sprouts and the prosciutto and arugula pizza. I originally gave this 3.7 restaurant 4 stars out of generosity. I've been back a few times and have almost always had solid service. I've never had to send anything back to the kitchen. They've got their act together like any quality chain and you can't beat their Happy Hour Burger and Beer price. Yet there's something off about this place that's been nagging me more and more after each visit. It's a place that wants to be welcoming, and is, but has a kind of 'gloss' to it that feels corporate phony. Like the smiling car dealer, you know? Some people love TVs everywhere, but to me they're kinda off-putting. It's not like you're in a restaurant but more on the set of an 'exciting' restaurant in a movie. I can't quite relax, nor is it cozy, which is okay because some people go out to be all loud and excited. All this and the over-saturation of loud country pop songs... ruins things for me. I could handle 1 in 5 songs being country, but the ratio is higher than that. There's no Fox News playing anywhere, but there's a big Reagan print by the restrooms and there's a definite Republican feel which... well... isn't my thing. I'm not telling people to avoid FINNEYS. I'm just saying it's not the best restaurant in town. It's not where I'd take out of towners to show them Redlands. I'd call it a 3.3 at this point. read more

Came again after some time and again sat outside. Really loved the ability to do that and loved the misters (thank you!). Ordered the Moroccan salad, and it was fairly good. The lemon rind that was in the salad helped with the freshness. Noticed that there is no nutritional info for the dishes, which would have really helped in deciding what to order. I didn't have much of an exchange with the waitress because a family member ordered for me, but I did ask for a refill on my water, and in return, the waitress gave me a super disgusted look. She never brought my water. I don't know what happened, but I guess my little cousin had just asked for a refill on his water and when I asked, she had just come back from delivering his. Well, I had no idea but also, why is this an issue? I was fine waiting for it; I wasn't in a rush and I wasn't impolite about it. I'm not sure why she was impolite. Recommendation: If there's a larger party (there were 7 of us), why not just bring a pitcher? This would help with not having to go back and forth. read more
