This place is better than your other chain wing places. The service has been meh at best with mostly young high school types behind the counter. My favorite sauce has been the fire sauce which brings a nice bit of heat. That's pretty much it, it's wings, don't overcomplicate it! read more

very slow service and dirty !!!! they need to hire someone to help the girl at the register. she's very slow and let orders back up. steady taking orders at the counter instead of packing ppls food up first. so now you get cold food. on top of that, there are knats flying around all over the bar area !!! read more

My husband and I are so soooo happy Fire Wings in Long Beach is finally open! My husband is from Chicago and thinks he is "the wing connoisseur " lol , and he can't stop telling everyone about Fire wings! We would travel all over OC to go to the other locations, and know they are local! This location is so nice, and the staff is super friendly! Jordan and Diana have such great customer service, it makes the atmosphere so inviting and comfortable! Our favorites flavors are the Cali Rub, Fire wing, Peanut butter, and Thai Chili. The wing flavors I tried were so good and the chicken wings were perfectly cooked and not dry. The garlic noodles are like your basic garlic noodles from anywhere else .This place would've been better but the fries were obviously from a freezer as well as the jalapeño poppers. Kind of disappointed to be honest. With having a big sign off pch by 2nd I expected the best wings without a doubt. I gave Fire Wings 2 stars just because of the chicken sandwich but if my review was for the wings only it would have been possibly one star. I've been here twice to give benefit of doubt but the wings are really lacking and it's in the name. I had the dragon and Saigon street this time and have had the buffalo and lemon pepper last time. They weren't crispy, the sauce was lacking and they looked pathetic. I would just go back for the chicken sandwich and probably get wings elsewhere. read more

This Fire Wings has a prime location on 2nd street in Long Beach. That being said, it's a great stop to make for some grub. We ordered the Korean and Thai inspired wings. I was obsessed with the sauce on the Korean wings but the Thai ones just did not hit the mark. They were a lot blander than I would assume Asian food to be and the flavor just wasn't there. Also, the food came with no utensils or napkins even though we opted to eat inside. You have to grab all of that on your own off to the side. Overall, I thought the service was excellent and very friendly. If you're coming to 2nd street for any reason don't hesitate to come in! read more

Been here a couple time and every now and then they give out super small and skinny wings. Last time ALL 15 traditional bone in wings were incredibly small and skinny, microwavable wings are bigger. I get it if it's like mix in with other sizes so the food it's not wasted, but to have the whole order be that small and be exactly 15 pieces it's foul. Felt like I ate 5 pieces of chicken nuggets. I love the flavor though. Some of the one that have flames next to it it's not really that spicy but it's still good! I love the fountain valley location, the only issue with this location is the inconsiderate size mix, maybe it's just every now and then but I hate for y'all to experience that. Still give it a try! The garlic noodle and the fries never disappoint. Hopefully your pieces are thick ;) read more

The bone in wings were so good. Paid extra for all flats and next time I will order them extra crispy. The Saigon street flavor was 10/10 with so much umami flavor. I wasn't as big of a fan of the buffalo style flavors. They were just super basic, nothing unique. I tried stampede and fire. Also the boneless wings were too breaded for my liking. The ratio of breading to chicken was off in my opinion. I will be coming back for more bone in flats, to try the rest of the fusion flavors and the tasty garlic noodles. Will pass on the boneless wings in the future. Overall, a great addition to 2nd and PCH! read more

The wings here were pretty good I really enjoyed the BBQ Chipotle wings but the garlic Parmesan were ehh. My husband enjoyed the buffalo tender fries. The Mac and cheese was nothing special they should add bread crumbs to it. The only let down was the Modelo tap wasn't working. The service was great. The place looked nice and neat. The wings are some of the best I can find around, the breading on the bone-in wings is perfect. The employees are always very nice and talkative with my friends and I every time. This place really did have wings. They tasted good and there was lots of selection of flavors. The wings were juicy and crispy and just flat out good! My husband and I came here while charging our car across at the Tesla charging statio. It was our first time here. We were overwhelmed with the many choices of flavors and sauces, but the young manager, Tony, was super helpful and made recommendations and even let us try different sauces.
