After loving this place im now running into multiple wrong orders. We purchased two medium meatball subs, got home and ate... both of us found burnt meatballs, so badly they were hard and black. Called back into store and was told a manager would call me back, guess what .. never received a call. Next wrong order, Ordered a salad, found frozen chicken. Had to throw it away. Next wrong order, Purchased a bowl of potato soup, got home and found what looked like to me a cup, and it was only filled up 2/3rd. For almost 5 dollars that damn bowl better be to the top! Firehouse subs is just ok. I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich. It took a while to come out and when it did, it was just ok. The bread is not fresh, so that is a bummer. They don't put enough Mayo and mustard on the sandwiches to be detectable. It just left a level of disappointment. I didn't finish my sandwich and unfortunately, I do not think I will ever go back. Upon entry, I was greeted by two welcomes. When I looked up I was perplexed as to who was speaking to me. As I scanned the uniformed employees, I was unable to locate the perpetrators to reciprocate my gratitude for their hospitality. On a recommendation, I went with the brisket. I soon realized why they didn't have a drive thru, speed is not on their side. If you are in a hurry, stopping in for lunch may be a frustrating experience. I got the meal to go. The brisket was saucy and very delicious. It was accompanied by a toothpick-sized pickle wrapped in a plastic baggy. It didn't really fit. I normally love Firehouse Subs, however, this location needs some real work. The person who put together my sandwich clearly didn't take any effort in it. I asked for no onions which it had a lot of and it came with no condiments. I would understand this oversight if it was busy, but I was there at 3:30 on a Sunday. I went in a few weeks ago, staff were very friendly and the food was very good, would definitely go again.

Still my favorite pastrami sandwich in town now it's also my 16 month old sons favorite too! I love that they always give me extra pickles on the side and that the employees are always in a good mood- even during this pandemic! Not only that but fast and LOADED with meat! Terrible experience, I understand short staff and things take longer than normal. Maybe the manager on duty can help the other employees instead of hanging up paper donation cards during the lunch rush. 20 minutes after ordering we got our food to go since we had to return to work. After about 15 mins and seeing people who ordered after me get their food, I asked if they knew how much longer and they said they had made them wrong and had to remake them. I got in my car, now late to work, and my sandwich was still wrong. In their defense, they offered to send me a free sub coupon but I don't live anywhere near a firehouse sub location. Haven't tasted yet but for the price, a large, which is basically a footlongs or so, is a bit high. I wouldn't have as much of an issue if the amount of meat was more. It looks like bacon strips, it's supposed to be beef brisket. Either way the amount is so slim I felt alarmed when taking the box, feeling how light it was and is. I took it back to get my money back or get it remade. After having it remade you can tell it's much more substantial. The remade version is what I would hope would be the norm. The Firehouse Subs in CDA (by the Cracker Barrel) opens on Sunday. I just got a sneak peak and it was AMAZING! And i don't even like sandwiches. Manager Jessica greats you with a million watt smile. Great staff, super clean and pleasant inside. All a home run before you even get to the food. I had the Beef and Cheddar Brisket sandwich and loved it. I'ts the bread that makes it better. We don't have one where we live in Yakima, Washington. I don't know of any in the state of Washington. So we purposely sought out a firehouse subs to try and we got lucky in finding one on the way home from our vacation. We stopped there for a late lunch. The subs come in three sizes. I got the regular which was more than filling. The misses and our teenage son got the giant. Which both said was more than wanted. It was about $55 for lunch for 4 people. So I'd say if you are on a budget. This place isn't it. At the time of visit inside dining was allowed with social distance in place. Outside dining is allowed. Went to the CDA shop for the first time yesterday. Pretty simple to-go order, just a turkey sandwich with provolone, mustard and mayo, lettuce, no tomatoes. When I got home, there was no cheese, no mustard and it had tomatoes, which I'm allergic to. Not good. Also noticed that the turkey is processed. Awsome service and great food. I always get the steakhouse sub. I have tried a few others and did not care for them. Wife always gets the Italian. Pay a little but more for these, around 20 bucks for 2 large sandwiches. One of the more healthier fast casual restaurants in our area. Always great when we walk in and they always very helpful if you have any questions. Only suggestion is to train more consistently. For a holiday lunch for my employees, we all decided on Firehouse. When I walked in I had my list of orders, I had tried to call but the number was not going through. When I got up to the counter I said, " I have a little bit of a large order, I tried to call but couldn't get through" my order only consisted of 6 sandwiches. I was immediately met with a sour expression and attitude by the guy at the counter, he acted totally inconvenienced by me wanting to give them business. I asked him if there was a problem, having picked up on his attitude, he said no, once again with attitude. I then told him I was going to step away and call my crew about the order. We all decided to not give them our business was and I left. Went to another place and was treated wonderful. I had only ever had Firehouse one other time and did not have a good experience then but, I decided to give them another try. I will NEVER give them my business and I will make sure to tell my fellow colleagues they should avoid them as well. It is pretty sad how they treat someone who only wanted to give them business.
