Just had the pleasure of going to Firehouse for the first time ever to spend $15 on a mediocre sandwich combo only to have a very long hair in my sandwich. The best part of my meal was the chips and raspberry lemonade. After finding the hair, I inspected the other half of my sandwich (luckily no hair). Overall, I've had way better subs. Never been here before, and my first time trying I must say I was glad I came. It is quite pricey but overall the sandwich was amazing! I ordered their. Brisket cheese sandwich with mushrooms and extra sauce and I devoured it so fast ! I had to place a huge order for my coworkers and everyone loved it ! It was gone within minutes! Sadly they did forget the biggest sandwich I ordered and they didn't offer to deliver to me for their mistake. But the quality of the sandwich was still amazing. Prob the most uncomfortable time I've had at a fast food place in a while... we get there around 8:16 pm and they have all the chairs blocking your way to the register, they didn't say hi as if they were open, we had to ask the girls if they were. They reluctantly said yea, and we hesitated to even order but screw it nothing else open. We had a long day gardening and soccer games, we just asked them if it was "okay that we were there" she said yes,... we ordered and a guy came out the bathroom high as hell, I mean lit. He must of worked there too he walked I the back and the girl doing our food followed him and with he gloves on she turns off a set of lights and idk what else she touched while she walked around came back using the same gloves finished making our food. I told my husband I really didn't want to even be here after the beginning felt awkward and that we bothered them... we ate it anyway but I'll tell you what, they will hire pretty much anyone now looks like. I found out about this place when I stopped for lunch near buckeye az and I was excited to find a location in orange ..and a few other local places at my office we try something new every Friday for lunch and I have no regrets forcing my coworkers to join me. We placed the order online and sent our shop monkey to go pick it up . I had the sweet spicy meatball which was quite good and my coworkers ordered other hot subs that had mixed reviews from excellent to just ok. Overall the place is pretty good but I think they missed the double meat order on one sub and we're charged for it. Not the first time this happened. So now they St a bad review We ordered in Uber eats- and over 10 mins later they canceled the order. This time we ordered for some kids at school, that have a very limited window to receive and eat. When they cancel the order over 10 mins after we ordered, that removed the window and now the kids don't get food during their lunchtime. That's a bad business practice. I called the manager to get at least a good reason, I was treated badly by the guy who Identified himself as the manger but would not give him name. He was rude and when I asked for a decent reason- he hung up on me. Think twice before ordering from here they treat people badly and now there are some kids that don't get to eat because of them Bad business. I would rate the ingredients as follow. Bread-5, meat-4, cheese-3, veggies-3, chips-3, brownie-2. I asked for five of the pepper sauces because there is clearly a sign that says ask for your favorite sauce for your order complimentary that equates to 1.25 sauces per sandwich... Eric says I'm just going to charge you for a bottle because that's equivalent to a bottle... I asked how much a bottle is and it's 8 bucks .... Another lady tell him to just give it to me... I asked for limes for my limeade and of course they are out.... When I get my food I show the lady the sign that says to ask for the complimentary sauces and she says well he just wanted to check with a manager before he gave it to you and says I don't have to be rude about it which I reply I'm just having a conversation with you I didn't curse you or anything... Was craving a sandwich and found this place on yelp. The steak and cheese sandwich is Amazing!!! Totally recommend that sandwich. My son had the grilled cheese combo, it comes with a fire man hat which he loved. The grilled cheese was just a typical grilled cheese. We had also ordered one of the salads. Everything was great and the staff was super nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars would be if you are getting it to go check your back before you leave. I luckily checked and noticed that the dressing was missing for the salad as well as there being no fork. 10/10 times I've gone here they don't make the sandwhich right. I used to do the online order so it was quicker and it was always wrong. So I stopped and just ordered in line. They still get the sandwhich wrong. I only ask for 2 ingredients. Steak and pickles. They never put the pickles on and I have to drive all the way back and waste gas. They are always rude about it when I tell them it's wrong, they refuse to give you're money back like the big sign says on the wall that if you are un-satisfied they will refund you. Nope they argue with you and try to give you a coupon. There is a guy who works at Arby's up the street who works here too and is always rude. His attitude is at firehouse subs too. I hate all sandwiches. I think they're dry and just bad. So when my girlfriend said she wanted to try FS, I reluctantly said yes. Well let me just say that at my very first bite, I fell in love with my Turkey Bacon sandwich. I ordered this sandwich and added avocado but told them no bacon. Anyways, it was so delicious. I had been seeing the Firehouse Subs commercials on TV quite a bit so I decided to give this new to So. California chain a try for lunch. First off this is the cleanest Sammy shop I ever visited. Front to the bathroom, spotless. I was happily greeted as I entered by 2 folks. Nice to see someone cares. The service continued well after I received my sandwich which is way more than I can say that the "other" guys at Subway, Togo's, Wich Wtich, Jersey Mikes, Cappriotti's, or Quizno's, have ever done for me. Hats off to the way better service here. I ordered the Brisket sandwich. Brisket,BBQ sauce n mayo on a soft roll. The11$ combo included a bag o chips and a refillable soda from the robot Coke machine. At first I thought it was a rip off but the thin trimmed brisket was a pretty thick pile of meat that filled me up. I also thought the bbq sauce and mayo on the Sammy would get weird together but they played nice and made for a tasty sandwich. A medium sized shop with quite a few tables.
