Dropped my car off at 3 pm for a tire repair today. Was told they would phone, but it would be ready by 6:30 pm today. They close at 7 pm. Called to check on status at 5:30, same info given. Received no phone call by 6:30, so we went there, arrived around 6:45. Car is still in the exact same place I left it, they have not touched it. Very unprofessional! We asked for the keys and left. If I could give them a zero rating I would. This is the Firestone on Flower Mound Road. Over the last year the service here has absolutely tanked. I've been bringing my car here since I bought it, before that I took my other Murano here for service. Bought tires, had some major repairs done, etc. Called to schedule a time to bring in my 2018 Murano for an oil change, tire rotation and was told, "we don't make appointments in the summer". Took it in on a Saturday at around 9. "We are booked today, leave it and we will get to it in the morning." ok... Called around12 Sunday. "yours is next in the bay" Ok.... Called at 3:00 "yours is next up." I really need my car in the morning on Monday, can you have it ready for me by 8? "No problem it will be ready." I got a call at 5 on Sunday, " I can't have your car ready for you in the morning, so you can come get it. I'll leave the keys on the front tire" SERIOUSLY? A fricking oil change and tire rotation? So I guess customer loyalty isn't important at all to them. Won't be back. read more

I trust this Firestone. I've had poor experiences with other Firestone locations through the years, but these guys are always fair and honest. My wife's car broke down and it ended up being a faulty battery she purchased there that was under warranty. They replaced it and sent her on her way and honored the warranty. Honesty. My motorcycle tire was low on air, flat. I pulled up to the garage and a guy came out and put air in it to help me. He broke the valve stem while putting air in, but quickly replaced it for free. Integrity. Again, I trust these guys and plan on using them throughout the years based off these two great experiences. read more

I stopped going to this location years ago due to the up sales and attempts to scare you into buying more from them. It is really a poor way to run a business. I needed an oil change recently and thought I would try them again since they are close to my house. I decided to convert to synthetic oil and was told I wouldn't need to change the oil for double the miles of a regular oil change so that would be from 3,000 to 6,000 miles. Went to pick the car up and the oil sticker they put on the window showed only a 3,000 mile change rather than the 6,000 mile change. This would mean that I would be back in to change my oil 3,000 miles sooner than what I should. Very disappointed in this business and I won't be back. After visiting Discount Tire in Oak Cliff, and being told that four tires for my roommate's Eclipse would run near $700, we contacted Firestone Service Center. We spoke to Bal and he hooked her up with some 50,000 mile tires for WAY less than the quote at Disount Tire. He even squeezed her car in and out in a couple of hours on a peak Saturday! The best Firestone around. I went to many other locations which were incompetent and rude, but this location had super friendly front desk and the most experienced mechanics. They fixed what the other locations could not, and months later the problem has not returned. They even gave me credit for the money I paid at another Firestone, and were extra accommodating to compensate for the bad experience I had at other locations. I have done business with this shop since 1999. Back then they provided me with knowledgeable advice and excellent value on my tire and service purchases. I have bought several dozen tires there over the years, spending thousands of dollars. However, in recent years, I have experienced a continual decline in quality and also a lack of the "partner" attitude they used to have towards me and my vehicles. I have found in several cases that fasteners were left lose following alignments. This causes the bolt hole in the frame of the car to become "wallowed out" and makes the vehicle impossible to align. Also, the last time I had tires installed on my Ford Focus ST sports car, it took over a week to get rid of the burnt clutch smell from their "technician" joy riding in my car. This weekend was the final straw. I was installing new struts and springs on my new Ford Escape, and took my new struts and springs in to have the springs pressed onto the new struts. It took over half an hour for Firestone to even understand what I was asking for (I brought the parts in to them in the back of my pickup - I just needed the springs pressed into the struts. Another shop performed this service for me several years ago for $20. I expected to be charged about $50 and had a mental limit set of $100 (which would be quite high). Well after the suspension tech came out and looked at my parts he immediately understood what I wanted to do. We took the parts over to the garage where the spring compressor was located and I went in to finalize the transaction. The service writers came and told me the service would be 3.5 hours and the resulting cost would be $450!!! This for a service requiring only about 30 min to perform. I told the service writer that cost was insultingly high and I would take my business elsewhere. I ended up renting a spring compressor and doing the job myself in less than an hour including the time to rent the tool. Flower Mound Firestone has made it clear to me that they don't value my business or my loyalty. They are clearly just looking for suckers to rip off, and I also cannot ignore their recent history of declining quality of service. I will never return to this store; they have lost a formerly loyal twenty year customer forever. I would certainly recommend to my friends and family that they select any other vendor than FM Firestone. You just can't trust them anymore. read more

The front end associates at this Firestone are super nice & professional, but I just can't trust the quality of the work or the honesty of this shop. Last time I went to get an oil change, they put the wrong dipstick in my car. Yes, I'm serious - and yes, it was obvious because it didn't seal at all. I noticed it the next time I had my oil changed and had to pay out of pocket to get a new one. What bothers me more than the swap (I know they are servicing multiple cars, and stuff happens) is that no one came forward and was honest about it at the time. It makes me wonder how many other times that they've been dishonest with me, so I'll try my luck elsewhere from now on. read more

I had sworn this place off long ago and decided to give them another chance since had been over 7 years since my last issue. The prior issue was that they didn't know how to use their alignment machine and kept telling me the frame on my truck was bent and I needed additional cam bolts to get the truck into correct alignment. I took the truck elsewhere and the alignment was done without a problem without buying new cam bolts. This time I took in a different car with painted wheels to get new tires, I thought the white on the outer part of the wheel was the white grease they use when mounting tires. I just tried to rub it off, nope, they scratched up the outside part of the wheels. On top of that the wheels are not balanced correctly. My expectation would be for them to notify me if they damage the wheels, not attempt to hide the fact in hope that I wouldn't notice. read more

Which means everything is under warranty and I purchased extra standard alignment warranty at time of tire purchase I have been communicating with very nice customer service people in the complaint department over the phone for three weeks and they keep telling me area manger or division manger would call me back. No one has ever called back. The current scenario: Took four days to fix a tire with a slow leak. Was lied to when I asked about the alignment being completed. Was told alignment was complimentary , by Julia Lynch, due to excessive wait. Took vehicle to another location and was given proof work was not done as stated. When I went into location for remedy, I was all but told I was lying. Toby and Tim, both managers, were rude and condescending. Treated me differently than other customers. Told me work would be done in seven days and told person in front of me, work would be completed end of day. Asked for reimbursement for alignment and balancing and was told by Tim " why should I have to pay for something you weren't sure you even needed". Don't support this location. Also must mention, those surveys Firestone ALWAYS sends after your recent visit/service . Well, interestingly after three weeks I have not received a survey to tell about my visit. Perhaps they don't want to hear or perhaps the customer service rankings are already so bad they don't want to add more complaints. Many car shops give a feeling you are getting screwed, but this place I feel shoots straight. The repairs are done well and on time. One experience, they told me to go to the store where I bought my tires to use the road hazard warranty. That was the best outcome for me. Took my daughters 4Runner in for basic services, oil change, tire rotation, etc. They stated she needed a new steering rack, it was bit on the high side, but went ahead. They has to align the vehicle when they did this, and we couldn't get out of the parking lot with out the wheel running the wheel well. It does have a level lift with adjustable Bilstein 5100s on the front, very common and basic. I expressed my concern and asked if any changes were made to the adjustable suspension, because the rake back to front had changed. He said no, and furthermore my suspension wasn't adjustable. Glad to know their management is so knowledgeable. Left it with them again. They called the next day and said it had been fixed. I went down and asked what they did. They beat the inner fender well with a hammer! Are you freaking kidding me? To top it off, they never asked to do body work on my car to resolve and issue that didn't exist when I took it in. Now the car had wheel shake/vibration over 40, and alignment issue. I took it back to the shop that did the lift and alignment. They sorted it out in 30 minutes. Firestone had adjusted the alignment back to factory specs even though it did not have factory suspension. Moronic, can't do anything but what the book says incompetence. I received a request for review, stated all of this information to Corporate, no response. Seems to be a company culture issue. Never again. Complete incompetence and even worse customer service. read more

I have used this Firestone for years, but will probably not return willingly. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, but when I picked up my car I had not received an oil change. My customer service rep, who was glued to his phone the whole time he spoke with me, assured me I had not asked for one. He then offered to give me an oil change within an hour or so. I did not have time, so he returned my keys. He neglected to tell me that my car was not parked in the Firestone lot. After 5 minutes of walking up and down and 360 degrees around the Firestone lot without finding my car, I went back in to tell him I could not find it. Still glued to the phone he motioned to another employee, telling him that "her car is out back." I followed this employee, as I had already checked "out back". Turns out that "out back" meant the Walmart parking lot, quite a ways removed from the Firestone lot. What car repair business gives you your keys but forgets to mention that they did not park your car on their premises, and doesn't let you know where it is until you return after wandering around for a 5 minutes looking for it? I was once loyal to this Firestone due to their competent and respectful customer service. What the hell happened??? I hope to never return. read more

Told me my brakes were "almost dangerously worn" but could fix them for around $150. I had had them replaced at the dealer 12,000 miles before. Just to be sure, when I got home I took off the wheels. There was far more than the 3mm left on the brake pads and the rotors were well within spec. Just to be sure, I took the car to the dealer and asked them to take a look. Been going here for awhile. Purchased several sets of tires for two different cars and that part of service has been great. Unfortunately I have twice now gone in because of a flat tire, first time Was a Saturday and busy but today I go in at 4:15 and was told they probably wouldn't get to it until tomorrow. First off, you ask for trouble when you take your car to get inspected at a place that does repairs. Do yourself a favor and go to those places that ONLY do state inspections. You'll have much less hassle that way. Anyways, I'll keep this review brief by not explaining how my wife and I ended up here. We just did. The car failed to pass inspection because of, what they said, were bald tires in the front. We knew we were close, but were hoping to push it to the new year. The guy up front (older guy with glasses) was very nice and apologized profusely for the car not passing. He made his pitch about how much new tires would cost through them but did not push. Before we left, he told us, just get new tires put on, come back with the receipt and inspection paper and all they will need to do is look at that paperwork, look at the new tires and then give us a new sticker. Simple, right? We get new tires put on a few days later at somewhere else, take the car back about a week and a half later (within the 15 day limit) and mention to the guy working there what the last guy told us. He tells us, "oh no, we need to hook the car back and reinspect it and everything". Which means we have to wait over an hour for them to do what they just did less than two weeks ago. Seriously? Did you want to find something new so you could try and sell us something? Fortunately, they did not find anything new. Once again, if you want your car inspected, take it to a place that does only that. Will never go back to this place. read more

Came in for four new tires and an alignment. I asked how long it would take and I was told about 2 hours. I said that was fine, but if it was going to take any longer, I wanted them to let me know so I could have someone from work give me a ride. I asked a couple of times leading up to when they promised it would be done, but they always had an excuse as to why it would be another fifteen minutes or so. Long story short, it took an hour and a half longer than they said it would. If they'd told me at any point that it was going to be longer than expected, I could have made arrangements. But every time I asked, it was "oh, just another couple of minutes and we'll get you out of here." For an hour and a half. Prices were fine and the people were nice enough. But they had no respect for my time and they made that very clear. read more

We have used this store for years as they are right around the corner from my home and over the years have cut them some slack knowing a big part of their job is to upsell but jeez- I am DONE. A couple of weeks ago I took one of our cars in to rotate the tires when they broke off a stud on my vehicle before asking me to pay $70 to repair it! Now mind you, THEY are the only store I have had touching that vehicle so if that stud broke, it is THEIR fault for over-torquing the nut. Yesterday my wife took in her car with a suspected hole in a tire. The "technician" started to say okay, no problem, then said, I can't "see" a hole and then went on to say the INSIDE of the tire is probably shot. Apparently he thinks women are stoopid. We will never go back in that store unless one of my warranted tires needs to be replaced. Last year they failed one of our vehicles for safety reasons stating the pinhole leak in our PS system was dangerous. After going to CHRISTIAN BROTHERS, no problem. Passed inspection and strangely, there was no hole in the PS. There are many choices out there.... read more

Repairs were addressed efficiently and the prices were consistent with area shops. The one fall back to the service at this Firestone was the attention to detail and cleanup after the work was done. Caps were left undone, covers were not replaced and fluids were not topped off. The gauges in the car clearly lit up alerting to indicate fluid levels were low and I'm sure the mechanics saw this - but were obviously to lazy to correct the issues. I had my Jeep towed here sadly, after a black panel and and unsuccessful jump I had to have it jumped with no success and towed here. My first interaction was with Nicki, she comes across nice but very foreword.... My interaction was to drop my vehicle off for an electrical check which should be fairly simple. After the evaluation I was told I needed a battery and to replace a sensor... Then later on it was the entire fan... I have no choice as if I replace a battery without this I would be doing nothing productive. As I drive my car from Firestone my right head light was unluminacent so I noted this as a concern but continued on my way.. As I proceeded on my way barely 100 yards the oil pressure gauge went full scale to the right and proceeded to pull over and park the car until I could drive it back at slow speed. The next day I was able to speak with Toby, who really took understanding to the problem and my frustration. Toby took hold of the problem and handled it honestly! This place is great, but you have to ask for Toby! He's a class act that'll shoot you straight. Nicky has yet to gain my trust and it's in your best interest to call ahead and ask for Toby!! read more
