This location is always so busy and that is a recommendation in itself. I went in and left my car because I had a flat. They did not charge me one cent. Both Joe and Jacob were so nice and helpful. I've spent a fair amount of money over the years there including a set of Michelins that cost $1,100.00 for our FJ Cruiser. I now have a 2025 CRV that has new tires but I still got a flat tire from a screw I picked up somewhere. I don't believe that had anything to do with the free flat repair. Waited in parking lot after my ER night shift for store to open. I was the only customer in the parking lot at 720am. I witnessed multiple employees arrive to work that also witnessed me sitting in my vehicle in the parking lot. I only needed a flat repair. 4 other customers trickled into parking lot before they opened. All of us ended up standing in front of the locked door 10 minutes prior to open. At 8am the doors opened and the employees all came out of doors to help customers. I was the last to be helped after walking into the store. I was exhausted and I know it showed all over my face. I still had my scrubs on and still needed to sleep before another upcoming night shift. This was an extremely upsetting experience. After the metal was removed from my tire the employee neglected to put any additional air into my tire. My vehicle tire pressure monitoring system and my manual tire pressure monitor both indicated I was lacking 5.5 psi. I stopped and had to air up my own tire to the appropriate 40psi at a gas station. read more

The sales staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The price was very fair. I was surprised they were able to knock out all 4 tires within 30 minutes on a Saturday. Stopped in on a weekend to have the tire pressure monitors checked out on my car - turned out all 4 had gone bad and needed changing , they last about 7 to 10 yrs and the time was right Left the car to have all 4 changed and called later to find out the car was done and parked in adjacent lot to be picked up. When I went to lot to pick it up, one passenger tire was nearly flat and the other passenger side tire was down 12 pounds of air ! Drove to discount tire where they determined whomever ( the guilty mechanic never fessed up) installed the two monitors on the passenger side installed them wrong applying metal to metal instead of the rubber grommet between. At that point im spending another 25 minutes for them to take 2 tires off and correct the passenger side TPMS then fill them with air and mount them on my car Geez, is it to hard to get it done properly the first time..its not the total assembly of the car just a tire pressure monitor to be installed from a store dedicated to the sale of TIRES! Not an apology, discount, free service on next visit.. Ive been a customer of discount/America's tire for 30 years, in several states during that time. On the whole I am a huge fan of the chain, with the caveat that some locations are not good examples of what you should expect. This location is an example of what you should expect. Excellent, speedy service and fair to great prices. I purchased four tires online and scheduled install. I got there ten minutes early and was greeted in the parking lot. My car was in the bay before the scheduled time and I had my keys back in 40 minutes. I definitely recommend this location. read more

He went over the warranty to make sure I understood how to get service if needed. My car was clean and I was able to purchase tires for a reasonable price. Why four stars? We have purchased tires from here in the past. Aside from an abnormally long wait time, we had a good experience and planned to continue using their services. Tire purchase experience: 3 out of 5. As part of our tire purchase, the technician invited us to stop in for free air checks any time we wanted. I have now had three terrible experiences with the air check gentleman, James. He is always trying to tell me that my new (just over one year old) tires are faulty. Today, he told me that my front tires had basically no tread at all, to "treat them as completely bald" and "do not expect your car to stop when you push the break." Then, he meaningfully looked in my car at my children and said, "Good luck" to all of us when I decline purchasing new tires today. My tires still have well over the recommended tread remaining, and I am very tired of his scare tactics... especially when he tried to frighten my kids today. Plus, he always sings a different tune when my husband is there with the SAME CAR. I get that this is a free service, but we have purchased tires there before so... it's not really free, but part of the package. My wife had a 5:45pm appt on 10/9 On 407 in Flower Mound The man at the front desk couldn't find record of us buying both sets of tires in his system so he wouldn't rotate our tires which is included with the "Installation and Life Of Tire" at $22.00 per tire . We found both receipts here at our home so go figure yet he said he couldn't find them using our cell number or both of our names. I definitely have loved this location in the past - everything except the wait. I know they try to do what they can to accommodate the wait, but there's one tiny thing that bothers me as a long-time customer: I typically get there early, as with most of my car-maintenance-needs that I haven't scheduled an appointment for, I arrive before they open and am typically the first one there. At Kwik Kar in Lantana, when I go for an oil change, they make note of this to the best of their ability and it's first-come, first-serve - which I LOVE! At this Discount Tire, it's not often I go in for air checks, I typically do this at home, but the light was on and I was driving after dropping the kids at school so I figured I'd make a stop at the beginning of the day to be efficient. I arrived at 7:30, and parked in the parking lot - one other customer car was there other than me - I could see them having a staff meeting in the lobby, so I settled in for the 30 minute wait before they opened. Time went by and more cars filled the lot - I wasn't bothered by this at all, at the time. But the moment 8:00 hit, I attempted to make my way to the Free Air Check stall, only to be turned away and told to form a line around the lot "because it was the only way to accommodate everyone." Against my normal shyness, I offered that I had been there since 7:30 and nearly everyone else had arrived for the same service after me, and was given a shrug and a "it's the only way" as a response. So, slightly agitated at the poor customer service (I was right in front of the stall, I could have just been let in - even though I know that would likely cause issues with the rest of the people who were now waiting in that line), I drove my car toward the end of the line, only to have two more cars who JUST drove up get in front of me. Fast-forward 30 minutes, and I'm there in the Free Air Check stall. 1 hour after I arrived, 30 minutes after they opened. Explanation for the 4 stars: Was this experience irritating? Yes. Do I understand why they made me get in line? Yes. Do I think it's a good business practice to not make a note of those who took the initiative to arrive early and serve them in a first-come, first-serve basis? No. Have I had good customer service there before? Yes. Have I had to wait an extended period of time even after scheduling an appointment? Yes. Did that typically bother me in the past? It would bother me less if they had free WiFi so I could work, but the short answer is no. Discount Tire on Justin Road has typically made me a happy customer - but this time, this experience, was a shot to the retail customer service worker in me. A 5 minute delay would have been one thing, but now I'm conditioned to arrive at Discount Tire Justin Road exactly at open time and participate in the cut-throat lineup all for a Free Air Check, existing long-time customer or not. Makes me wonder if Kwik Kar Lantana would do air checks and tire services for me... read more

It was easy to make an appointment with the store for the next day with Mike. The tires I needed were not in stock at the time I called for the appointment but they got them in the same day I made the appointment so they were ready for me the next morning. I was purchasing just two tires but they rotated the tires for me & while doing so noticed there was a nail in one of the remaining tires. They patched that free of charge & reset the air pressure light for me which had been on for quite awhile & I didn't know why. Now I know it was due to a nail in the tire that I couldn't see. They were kind & patient explaining everything from the appointment till handing the car over & explaining what they did. I would give them negative stars if I could. I first had an issue with them in 2019 when they didn't fix my flat and then they fixed it but didn't tighten the valve stem and it got sucked back into the wheel while I was going 70 down 35. Luckily the Discount in Lewisville fixed it without issue. This time I took my truck for a balance, rotate and have a flat fixed. Little did I know that they DIDNT TIGHTEN THE LUG NUTS ON ALL 4 OF MY TIRES. I started hearing grinding noise on my front left tire so I took it to Toyota and as they pulled it into their shop the FRONT TIRE FELL OFF MY TRUCK!!!! They didn't tighten the lug nuts correctly. I'm lucky it didn't come off on 35 as I was driving to the dealership. The Lewisville Discount Tire is where I would go if I was you. A little bit more of a drive might save your life read more

I want to start this review with the majority of Discount Tire locations are phenomenal. They offer prompt service, professionalism, and provide competitive prices. I recently purchased some new tires on my truck and absolutely love them. I ALWAYS go to the Lewisville location because they provide 5 star service every time I am there. I have visited the Flower Mound location four times now for a simple tire rotation and air check (I live in Flower Mound). Every time I've gone there for this, I feel like I'm a burden to their day. They put me at the back of the line for the wait and load me with questions when I'm there. "Are you sure you need one?" "Are you keeping track of your miles?" "Did you get these tires through Discount Tire?" If they would just type in my phone number in their system they would be blessed with all the answers they need but they just want me to come back another time because they are usually "too busy" for the service I need. I am finally writing a review because this has now became a repeat problem there. I have been a customer with Discount Tire since 2007 and understand how they operate. This location needs a few changes in their customer service as well as their efficiency. Again, I highly recommend the Lewisville location for any type of service. read more

Love this discount tire. It's close to home and in a perfect location on highland village right off of FM 407 (Justin Road). Even with walk ins I usually do not have to wait long on services. Of course it is always best to make an appointment ahead of time. My usual service is the free tire pressure check. I can pull up and be completely done in less than 10 minutes. The staff is always friendly and detailed. My only complaint is the location of the free tire pressure check. When there is a long line of people waiting, the drive ways can get clogged up pretty quickly. They really need a better way of controlling the traffic for cars waiting. Overall I love the staff and how personal they are towards the customers. As a women, I'm never nervous about going in and getting the best recommendations. I never feel like I've been ripped off and take advantage of. read more

The warranty is hassle free and has come in handy many times for me with the unexpectedness of the open road. Let me start of by saying, I normally love discount tire and they have been where I go to fulfill my tire needs since I have had tire needs. However, this is the first time at this particular store. I ordered tires last week online and created an appointment for today at the closest store(the one I'm reviewing). At the end of the order/appointment creation it said that if my tires had not arrived by my appointment that I would be informed. I'm sure you can see where this is going. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment. I then waited a short time to talk to someone. That certain some was Bernard, an assistant manager. He looked up my appointment and it was scheduled correctly. However, when he looked up the tires they were not showing up as at the store. He made a call to see where they were and it turns out they won't be there until tomorrow. I took time of work and scheduled/ordered ahead so it would be a quick, simple process. The fact that they weren't there was unacceptable, which I vocalized. Since I was in need of tires and already have the time off and an appointment I asked if there were alternatives, to which I was unabashedly lied to, "No, that's not a normal tire and we don't have anything that will work." How do I know I was lied to? Well, once I left the store I decided to search and see what would be available at another store. According to their website they, among other stores, had a plethora of tires(multiple tires of multiple brands) to fit my needs. So, why tell me they're out? Well, I'd assume it was because the tires they did have were quite a bit cheaper than what I had ordered. Maybe I'm just being cynical, but I can't for the life of me understand why they would tell about the other options had it not been the case. So, here I sit at another discount tire store waiting on my vehicle. I was greeted promptly and given ALL my options. I wish this store was the one closer to my home as I will not be going back to the store on 407. read more
