Got a wheel balance and a tire rotation and this is what they do to my wheels. Horrible techs, they don't handle your car with care.

Disappointing Experience with a Few Bright Spots - Be Cautious with Fastone Auto Service I brought my car to Fastone Auto Service for repairs, and while it was eventually fixed, the experience overall was frustrating, time-consuming, and left me feeling that the $1,200 I spent wasn't truly worth it. The biggest issue was their initial misdiagnosis. I came in twice before they finally figured out what was actually wrong with my vehicle. For both earlier visits, I was told the issue was likely the battery, but even after dealing with that, the problem persisted. It wasn't until my third visit that an Indian manager stepped in, took the time to properly inspect the car, and correctly diagnosed a starter failure. Once the starter was replaced, the issue was finally resolved. While I appreciate that this manager was detail-oriented, honest, and even helped price match to save on parts, the fact remains: I lost a lot of valuable time and went through unnecessary back-and-forth due to earlier missteps. Even though the car is now working, the whole process was inefficient and exhausting. Another major disappointment was the customer service -- particularly from the female manager, who appeared to be in a leadership role. She was consistently dismissive, unfriendly, and showed little interest in helping customers. Her attitude made a frustrating process even worse. In contrast, the Indian manager was the only person who showed real professionalism, explaining the issue clearly, consolidating labor charges, and trying to make the experience as smooth as possible. To sum up: * The car did get fixed -- eventually. * The Indian manager deserves credit for doing things right. * The service prior to that was poor, and customer care from the female manager was even worse. * The misdiagnosis led to multiple visits, wasted time, and unnecessary stress. * I paid $1,200, but the overall experience felt unworthy of the cost. I sincerely hope the management at Fastone looks into these issues -- particularly the inconsistency in staff attitude and the lack of proper diagnostics in earlier visits. I'm sure I'm not the only customer who feels this way, and others likely have similar stories. This shop has potential, but it's currently being held back by internal problems that shouldn't be ignored.

Every Firestone shop I go to always have good customer service. The customers service representatives here really know what they're doing. Ms Bernadette is very accommodating and helpful. Saman is very helping and thorough as well. They both made sure my car is ready to go for my trip back to LA.

My tire being patched at Firestone in Milpitas, CA

I had a very slow leak in the left rear tire of my Camry. It lit the TPM lite on my dash, but the pressure went up due to a short road trip. Since it has Firestone tires on it and I was in the area, I stopped in to get it fixed. They found one of those big staples, with one leg, that went into the tire. It was barely visible. It was close to a previous puncture, that already had a patch. They put a 2nd patch on it. They were hoping it would hold. It has now for a few weeks after. The name on the work order was JACOB. Not sure if that was the office manager or the guy who did the work. They saved me from having to buy a new tire!

From my very first visit, I felt confident because everything was handled with transparency. There were no "surprise" charges or unnecessary repairs. I truly recommend this shop, especially the Milpitas location, not only for the quality of work but also for the staff who take the time to clearly explain the repairs. A special recognition to Travis (Milpitas), who went above and beyond and made sure at all times that I clearly understood the work being done as well as the costs involved. I genuinely felt confident that my car was in good hands.

BEWARE -- DO NOT GO HERE!!…read more Horrible customer service, questionable diagnosis, and a very disappointing experience from start to finish. We took our work van to Stress Free Auto Care after finding them on Yelp. They were close to home and, more importantly, veteran-owned. As a company that supports veteran nonprofits, we were excited to support another veteran-owned business--even though their pricing was higher than other shops we considered. Our van had been having issues starting and randomly shutting off. They quickly diagnosed it and sent us an estimate for around $1,200, which we approved. We were told it would be ready by the end of the day and picked it up the following morning. The very next day, the van broke down multiple times on the freeway, nearly causing accidents. This was extremely dangerous and terrifying. We immediately contacted the shop and were told to bring it back. We had to leave the van at a jobsite and figure out how to get it back to San Jose, which created even more stress and disruption to our business. We dropped it off in the morning and heard nothing all day. The next morning, we had to follow up ourselves, only to be told they were still running diagnostics. We were then told there was now another issue that would cost even more to repair. If the original diagnosis was incorrect, I expected the shop to take some responsibility and offer a reasonable solution. Instead, the resolution offered was a "free" diagnostic--which is essentially already credited toward service anyway. There was no real effort to make things right, no empathy for the situation, and no meaningful resolution. We were basically told we could come pick up the van. Business owner to business owner: this is not how you take care of customers. When a customer spends over $1,200 based on your diagnosis and their vehicle breaks down immediately afterward, leaving them with a dangerous, non-operational work vehicle, you should be doing everything possible to make it right. This entire experience has been incredibly STRESSFUL. STRESS FREE AUTO CARE?! Yeah, right. Take your business elsewhere.

That's why finding Kris was such a blessing. From the very beginning, Kris treated me with kindness, honesty, and professionalism. He took the time to explain everything, kept me updated throughout the process, and never made me feel like just another customer. During a stressful situation, his patience and communication made a world of difference. What impressed me most was his attention to detail. He wasn't interested in simply getting the job done, he wanted to make sure it was done right. That level of care and pride in his work is hard to find these days. I had no idea this hidden gem of a shop even existed, but I can confidently say I won't be taking my vehicle anywhere else. Not only did Kris get my Chevy back on the road, but he returned it in better condition than it was before the engine issues started. If you're looking for someone who is honest, knowledgeable, professional, and offers fair, affordable rates, Kris is the real deal. I will absolutely be returning for oil changes, maintenance, and any future vehicle repairs. Thank you, Kris, for helping me through a stressful situation and treating me with such kindness and respect. You've earned a customer for life(:

I only brought a $5 coupon that they had mailed to me. What I did not appreciate was the employee's attitude when I asked about the coupon. Instead of simply explaining it professionally, he responded in a rude and condescending way, as if customers are supposed to understand how their internal pricing system works. Another issue was that nobody asked me what type of oil I wanted. I later noticed they used conventional oil, even though I normally use synthetic oil in my vehicles. Customers should always be asked before that decision is made. On a previous visit with my 2026 Hyundai Palisade, they also told me they could not reset the maintenance reminder because their system computer only worked up to 2020 models, even though the reset process is very simple and can easily be found online. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk employee, Tony, was completely different. I asked him a simple and polite question: "Can I please get an update on my car?" I had already been waiting for almost an hour. His response was, "Oh, I don't know," and then he simply walked away. It wasn't just the words he used, but the tone and dismissive attitude behind them. It came across as though I was bothering him and that he simply wanted me to go away. I asked again if he could possibly get an update, and he responded, "NO." Another employee overheard the interaction, came over, and asked which car was mine. After checking, he immediately told me, "Oh, okay, it's almost done. About 10 minutes." That's all I was asking for--a simple update. Good customer service doesn't require much in a situation like this. A polite response and a little communication can make a big difference in a customer's experience. The front desk/waiting area was not busy, which made the dismissive attitude even more disappointing. In my opinion, someone who speaks to customers this way should not be working in a customer-facing role. Again, the employees who actually worked on my car were great. My issue is specifically with the front desk experience and the way I was treated by, Tony.
