I took my car here today a little before noon for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. I told them I would leave it and be back around 5:30 to pick it up. The guy that took my keys said he would have it ready by 5. Get there after 5:30 to pick it up and it's parked in the same spot I left it. They can't locate my paperwork or keys and then a different guy tells me, if you will leave it with me tonight, I'll get it serviced free of charge. They did nothing to my car. I was told they rotated the tires but that's all they had time to do. My tires were not rotated because if they had it up in the air they would've changed the oil. I also tried to make an appointment online with them a couple days prior to being a walk in and got no confirmation. Do not recommend. read more

Made an appointment online over 48 hours in advance for an oil change. Received two emails. The first saying we are working to schedule your appointment and then a confirmation of the date and time. When I arrived, I saw my name on their schedule on their computer. The employee then proceeded to tell me that I did not have an appointment, that scheduling an appointment does not work online, and that he would try to fit me in, all said very condescendingly. It was extremely bizarre. He was well aware of my scheduled appointment and if the time was an issue, had over 48 hours to call me and reschedule. I took the time to arrange childcare to make this appointment go smoothly. It was like he was waiting for me to arrive to complain and act put out. He did not once apologize, or just act normal. It was extremely rude and inappropriate. If he has an issue with the website appointment setter than that is something he needs to discuss with his company, not be angry and rude to me for using it. I've been to at least 4 Firestone's in the Nashville area and have always scheduled online. This was my first and last time at this location. Two stars because the other employee that worked with me was nice and did their job. read more

First, I made an appointment online for new tires, four of the primewell for my Nissan vehicle. They confirmed my appointment and said they had the tires in stock. After being there about an hour someone comes out and tells me that they don't make those tires to fit my car. I believed them and spent twice as much as quoted. After leaving I thought why would a Asian tire maker not make a tire to fit a Asian car. I called three other firestone locations and asked if those primewell tires fit my Nissan and they all said yes. The person at the Donelson location lied to me, he didn't upsell me he lied. I am going to look into filing a theft by deception charge on the person. I am also going to contact Gary Garfield and Taka Mitsui at the corporate office about this as well as every agency I can about these business practices. Several years ago channel 5 news did a undercover investigation on firestone for these type practices, maybe they need to expose them again. I don't mind them trying to upsell me but that's not what happened here, they lied to me to get more of my money. read more

I went in for a routine oil change and coolant flush. No problem right? WRONG. My car has apporoximatley115 thousand miles on it and have NEVER had a problem other than general maintenance. I received a phone call about 3 hours later with them telling me I needed to replace struts, strut mounts, shocks and tires on top of an alignment for around 1500$. I am a grown woman but unfortunately don't know anything about cars. I was hesitant to do all of this work since there has never been any indication that anything was wrong. Well thank God I trusted my instincts to not get anything done that day. I went to a privately owned shop and had them look at the "issue." They called me and let me know they couldn't believe they tried to sell me all of that because everything was solid as a rock but the issue was 2 bad wheel bearings. I paid 400$ out the door. They also informed me of how dangerous this could be since it is what hold the tires on the car! Completely unacceptable and unethical business practice. Will NEVER return. read more

If I could give 0 Stars, I absolutely would. I have never had such a bad experience at ANY car shop. I am so discouraged about this whole experience. I feel completely disrespected and as if i have been made out to be a liar. When I took my car in on Saturday afternoon, I was told they were busy so it would probably be a few hours which was totally fine. My car had been acting perfectly fine I just went in for an oil change. About an hour later I was called and told I needed a new tire, which was also fine. I understand these things have to be done. When I came back to get my car a few hours after dropping it off, I paid and started my car and it made a loud rumbling/roaring noise. My car had NEVER ever made any noise like that. I drive a 2012 Nissan Sentra. I refused to leave without them checking it again. They looked it over very quickly, touched a few things inside, and then said it was fine. It was very much NOT fine. Nothing was fixed at all on it. I started my car again only to hear the same sound and when i went to drive I heard a grinding noise and it was hard to push the accelerator when compared to normal. Two more times I made them look at it until they eventually told me there was "nothing wrong" with my car which is just ridiculous. They then recommended that I go to Nissan and have them look at my car. I refused to go to Nissan for something that was not my fault and something that THEY broke. They even suggested that possibly my transmission was going out. My car is a 2012 with 34k miles. My transmission is not going out. They made me out to be a liar by implying that this was already broken when I came in and now I was trying to get them to fix it at their expense. They said I was accusing them of trying to sabotage my car which i would never accuse anyone of. That's ridiculous. Finally, they admitted that it looked like one of the rotators for the belts was knocked out of place or broken. They refused to take ANY responsibility for this even though I kept telling them that this was not broken before I came there. They then started quoting me how much it was going to cost to be replaced. I told them there was no way I was paying for their mistake. After at least 30-40 minutes of arguing they finally agreed to fix it, but said they were just doing it to humor me and not because they made any mistake. They were rude and hateful every single step of the way. I spoke to at least 4-5 people and kept hoping that I would finally find someone reasonable and kind but this never happened. My experience kept getting worse until the point that I was in tears in their lobby from frustration. They did fix my car eventually by just replacing that part but acted as if they had done me a HUGE favor rather than just fixed their mistake. This was the worst experience I have ever had at this type of establishment. It ruined my weekend completely. I have never felt so belittled or disrespected in my life. I would never recommend anyone to go here and have shared this experience with everyone I could already. I feel like I was taken advantage of for being a woman and was left without a car for almost the whole weekend. DO NOT TRUST THEM. read more
