This facility has to be the worst managed place in the area. I should know, I work in the industry. Came in for an oil change to give back to the communit, what a mistake. Upon arrival I asked how long it would take, advisor said 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I asked to complete or to get it in, advisor replied to get it in, I told him I couldn't do it. He then replied 1 hour to get it in and 45 minutes to perform the service, so I said ok go ahead. Two hours and fifteen minutes later, my car hasn't moved. I asked for my keys and cancel the service. Handed me the keys, no apology whatsoever. This must happen a lot, no consideration for other peoples schedule. Mismanagement is the problem, there were so many basic rules of shop behavior being broken ( remember I work in this industry), it's a wonder the doors stay open. read more

I had the most unbelievable experience with this Firestone location, particularly with Erick Gonzalez!!! After our car tire blew up on the side of the freeway I called this location and spoke to Erick. It was already 2 PM and it would take another hour before we got a spare put on and be able to get over to the shop. When I spoke to him he informed me that they stopped seeing new costumers after 12 PM, but would still take us! Not only did he agree to see us but after looking at the tires said he could jump us up to the front of the waiting line!!! He gave us a great deal on the tires too (which werent in stock, but got delivered extremely fast). I have never had such amazing costumer service before. Erick was super friendly and very honest. We got sooo lucky wit him!! Exceptional service, very easy and fast maintenance, and an unbelievable price!! Make sure you ask for this guy if you come in, he's the best!!!! read more

DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION. here is my story. I brought my car in for alignment at 2pm with appointment. I waited for 3 hours and they haven't touched my car. The thing got me upset was they were working cars from customers who brought in later than I did. I was wondering it was because I bought lifetime alignment so they would do my car last because my car doesn't bring any revenue to the store today. lifetime alignment means you get to fix your car alignment for free. I saw they charged the other customers and working on their cars even though they came later. Firestone just set another record of nonprofessionalism. They are about store profit. I was very surprised with outstanding service. These guys really do car about your car and give you the best options for your vehicle at a great price! First off, went in and Freddy in the office wasn't wearing a mask even though they have signs stating masks must be worn inside building. And it's a mandate in Cali now. Turns out he has covid now so if you've had contact with him within the last few days I'd check yourself. Today is Jan 5th. They'll be closed until Jan 10th according to one of the mechanics. Had truck aligned, still pulls to the left..they didn't test drive after aligning the truck. Asked if they could grease my upper control arm ball joints and said they did. They did not. Had an appointment and still took over 45 minutes for them to do something that only took them 10 minutes. I'm feeling it's a pay what you get for kind of place. Don't know if I'm going back. Very poor safety etiquette for health by not caring about others health and for safety of vehicles by not making sure the job is done right. read more

I had purchased lifetime alignment on a 2008 Camry. After 128K miles I rebuilt my front end replacing all of the front end components. Even after making the staff very aware that I induced the alignment issues with my car myself and accept full responsibility for the alignment issue (Toe out -1.7 X -1.7 deg) there was no charge! Only a recommendation that I replace my tires. Guess who is getting that business?! Unbelievable. This franchise has done me and my friends very well. I brought my car in specifically to have the oil changed and to have my rear reverse lights eeplacThose were my main concerns and issues that need to be taken care of that day. 1. I was charged for little light bulbs but my rear reverse lights were not touched or replaced. 2. They did my oil change, however now my car is leaking oil. It's never done that entire time I've had it (keep in mind the engine was redone earlier this year) 3. They upsold me on the car inspection which told me everything else that was wrong with my car. Why didn't they do what i initially bargained for. Not to mention they had my car from about 9:30a-5pm Needless to say I am very disappointed and should have listened to the people who told me three only go there for tires Update 12/6/19: I took all the way up to Sun Valley- they do my major work, and will from now on do all the work- including oil changes. It will be done right. After they inspected my Mini, the said the last person who did your oil didn't change the filter, and the seal or gasket was place correctly . My people fixed Firestone's mistake free of charge. Drop my transmission my a** I will gladly drive from Orange County to Sun valley to have work done appropriately on my Mini Cooper . read more

Can I rate it a negative star ? Horrible in every possible way. They don't want to help you at all. Trying to get information on how to get work done there, was like pulling teeth. I had called two weeks prior they said it would take all day for an oil change. Then when I stopped by at a later date it was dead and they said they were booked and an oil change would take over an hour and they could not help same day. We left the car for a week and was informed later it needed an engine. My parents paid $900 because the cancelled all the other work. After 2 weeks the car stopped working and we had to donate it. Walked inside to get tires serviced and no one inside so I approached the garage to get someone's attention about wait times to repair a nail in my tire. A few gentlemen were horsing around laughing at the fact I was there and continued laughing as I approached them to ask for help. Apparently, customers aren't allowed inside the garage. An employee ask what I needed giggling under his breath. I replied in anger from the nails in my tire and this guy laughing in my face, " I wanted some help, but you guys want to F around." I mean I probably was wrong but when it come to working on other people property and means of travel, there should be zero tolerance. That's how repairs are done improperly and keeps patrons waiting longer in the lobby. I suggest you take your vehicle elsewhere where there aren't any jesters and more professionals who are there to do a job the right way. read more

Came in to fix a tire patch they did months before. Was told about 60 minutes to take care of it. 2 hours later, still waiting.

I had an appointment last week. I dropped off my car in the morning, and didn't get a call that it was ready for several hours, after being told it would be an hour and a half to two hours. When I called five hours after dropping it off to see what was taking so long, they said it was next in line. What's the point of making an appointment to minimize the inconvenience to me if you're going to take all day?? Additionally, their employees were not properly wearing masks - one of them took his off while I was talking to him and let it hang from his ear. If you're going to have your employees wear the masks, then wear the freaking masks. read more

They where short handed and they took 2 hours to fix a nail on the tire. The bathroom was so dirty and it stink. I dont recommend this place. Go somewhere else. read more

Run from this Firestone; I repeat do not go to this Firestone. We used to use them exclusively for all of our cars and we have had a lot of cars. In the past 2 years something must have happened because they are no longer helpful and everything is about the money and not the service. They made my daughter cry when she brought her car in and treated both my son and my husband like dirt even though we have been going to that location for over 25 years. They do not honor their warranties and try to get out of anything they can. They now also tell you that stuff is wrong with your car when its not and try to hit you up for expensive repairs. I would give them a minus zero if I could for using scare tactics on me. I noticed a tire pressure issue in one of my tires. I looked closely and saw small bits of metal shavings in all of my tires. Many of them were in the tire losing pressure. I took my car around the corner to Firestone to have them check it out and I walked home and waited for their call. Eventually they called and informed me that all of my tires were destroyed by "shrapnel" and I needed all new tires. This was shocking and scary because what choice do I have because now I believe my tires are too dangerous to even drive anywhere to get a second opinion. I called my husband, who was out of town, and told him the situation. He pointed out that the leak in my tire was slow so have Firestone put some air in it and to go get my car out of there and get the second opinion. I did a little research and found that the nearby Americas Tire had five star Yelp reviews. Since I now believe I need all new tires I check price and stock on four tires but that location did not have them. I had to drive down to the Americas Tires in Lake Forest. I nervously drive my car to Lake Forest. I hand over the keys and about an hour later they come get me and I am bracing for the bad news. The guy hands me my keys back, informs me that they have tested all four tires on a machine and found that only one tire had a puncture. They pulled out all of the metal shavings, repaired the one tire and didn't charge me a penny (saving me around $1,000.00) and told me to have a nice day. Which I did, thanks to them!! read more

My tire light came on a few days ago and I was kind of ticked off since I had just gotten new tires from them a few weeks ago. I came in yesterday morning (09/17/15) to see if they could check it out since I had to be in Ontario in a few hours. What really rubs me the wrong way about this establishment is that nobody has a sense of urgency at all. While I was waiting in line, another customer was complaining to them because they messed up his car that could have put him in danger! It's bad enough he had to wait ALLL day the day before just for him to have to come back?! The woman was just so aloof and didn't really have a concern or urgency for him. I felt so bad for him because you spend all your hard earned money thinking your going to be in good hands when your not. I had an appointment at noon today to get two tires changed out and an oil change. I dropped it off at 11:30am. I was told I'd get my car back by 3-4pm... Wow ok. Didn't get my car until nearly 5:30!! Ridiculous and unacceptable. I was repeatedly told they'd call me in an hr anytime I called for an update on the status but I never received one. Oh and when I first came in, the guy in the front thought it was OK to pick my tires out for me without consulting me (which i was like, no. I had done my research) and he tried to tell me he was giving me a deal on my synthetic oil change. Said it was originally $70 but they were doing a $10 discount.. I luckily had a coupon that stated they were originally $60 and I could get $15 off. So yeah be careful, they will try to rip you off and you'll be waiting all day for your car read more

these guys suck, seriously! I've been here several times and each time they always try to upsell me at least a couple hundred bucks. I had my car taken to the dealer at the 100,000 mile mark - had everything taken care of - the next week I came to Firestone and they tried to tell me to drop $400 on stuff I didn't need! I had a set of 4 tires installed today and I must say I was not very impressed. They do not seem connected with the customer and upsell at every opportunity. This is of course after they make you wait outside until the last possible second when you can see them and they will not let you in early to hang out in the lobby hit the restroom or grab a cup of coffee. This place stripped my oil pan nut twice and my lug nut one time. I went back and spoke to TIM and he said "well these things do happen but it is unlikely our due to our mechanic ..." (he wanted proof that they were the culprit) When I asked to speak with the manager, he said the manager wasn't there - but clearly the manager DANIEL was outside smoking a cigarette. I got frustrated and left. At home I went on the FIRESTONE website to complain via corporate email - they never responded. I said fk it and never came back. ADVICE: AVOID THIS PLACE. But if you really really must take your car to this Firestone for any service, make sure you do a walk through inspection after you leave the shop. Get on the floor and look for leaks, check to see if all the lug nuts are in (one of mine was missing because they stripped the stud and couldn't put the lug nut back on), and try to watch the mechanic while he is working on your car. read more

I bought 4 new tires and that's when the trouble started. After leaving the parking lot I noticed a thud, thud, thud sound from one of the tires. I figured my cheap hubcaps needed to settle into place. The next day after a 10 mile freeway drive my tire pops. Luckily I was not driving at the time. I had to take time off work and delay moving into my new apartment, to fix this problem. I brought my car back to this place and they determined nothing pierced the tire to cause the pop, AKA improper installation! My tire wasn't in stock so I had to waste more valuable move time and leave my car overnight. They replaced the tire free of charge as they should have. But when I asked for some compensation for my time the manager told me changing the tire was enough. All I wanted was one tire refunded... but all i got was the run around. I could have had a blow-out on the freeway and seriously damaged my axle to the point of replacing it, Ive seen it happen. If you want to prevent damage to your vehicle and save time in your day, dont go here. I will never bring my vehicle here again and I will make sure all my friends and family don't either. Dropped off our 2016 Honda Odyssey for an alignment after having SPC rear adjustable camber arms installed. At the front counter we were greeted by Fred and during the write up we explained that the rear suspension does have adjustable camber arms so that the technician can make the adjustments, this was noted on the invoice. We left the van there overnight so they can take their time with the alignment. When we picked up the van the next day, we reviewed the alignment printout and saw that they did not adjust the rear camber. This was our first visit to this location and will not be returning or recommending to others. read more

The service is timely and they keep you posted on progress. As a bonus, their techs are conscientious and do not tear up your aluminum wheels like so many other shops will when mounting tires. the mechanics and technicians here mostly do a good job. It is very unfortunate that they are so very lax on wearing masks. This location was doing very good with its customer service and wait times, however, something has changed. Between the extra time that is taken to service my vehicle, even with appointment, and they and over half of the waiting customers not bothering to wear a mask, the top tier care has gone down. I am not surprised that it is closed due to a covid outbreak. Too many people in this city don't take spreading a sickness seriously. i am hoping that things can turn around for this location. they have done better in the past. they can get there again. read more

$150 for 1 tire replacement.... Pretty steep but okay... It's my only day off in the week so I don't want to waste time and decide to just get it done. Vincent says it will be done in 1 hour.... Over 3 hours later, my family and I are still waiting while the crew is out back smoking and eating pizza and Vincent is in the front just chilling on the phone laughing his ass off. Not cool. I used to replace tires in my high school auto shop class, and it would take less than 10 minutes so I don't know what the deal is here. Avoid this place folks.
