I do think I was overcharged for a taillight bulb replacement costing $44.52, but that's ok, it was better to get the light bulb replaced vs. risking getting stopped by a policeman and possibly getting a ticket. On the bill, it looks like I paid twice: $19.99 for Light bulb installation package install labor and $19.99 for small bulb installation labor. I don't understand why I paid two labor fees. The small light bulb should have been included in the Light bulb installation package, that's why it states - PACKAGE. There were no Senior Citizen discounts, which I understand. But the total price of $44.52 for one small bulb installation was ridiculous and quite expensive for a small light bulb that cost $1.99!! Again, the service was excellent, but I am terribly disappointed with the overall cost of installing one small light bulb. Overall, these are my results leading to this 5 star review: Customer service 11/10 The front staff in particular were super friendly, gave honest quotes, and followed up at every stage. Price: 8/10 The cost was fair albeit a little more expensive than some other places. Quality 12/10 You get what you pay for. The quote from the mechanic that sums it all up is this: "You paid a little more, but I guarantee you won't be back to fix this problem again." My hubby called & decided on Belsen's Auto & Tire (a/k/a San Antonio Sprinter on Google). It was Monday morning, they said to bring in the RV. They were quickly able to diagnose the issue; needed to order parts which would be in Tuesday. They offered us to stay overnight in their parking lot (with cameras) which we gladly accepted. Tuesday morning they began working on the RV; they did find another issue. The Tech, Robert, said they'd have to order parts & do the work on Wednesday OR we take our RV safely home & have the work done in FL. We decided to go home. They finished by 1:00pm and we were on our way home. A special thanks to managers, Antonio & Albert; they were kind & welcoming to us & our two fur-babies. We feel confident with the work done correctly and that we were treated fairly with charges. My hubby adds: Robert took initiative to check out RV brakes, power steering & hoses to make sure we'd be safe driving.

Long story short this shop does basic balancing do not go there expecting quality work. A balance and rotate cost me 255 bucks. I am not happy.

See attached image!…read more Back in June I finally decided it was time to fix my cars AC, this was a long time coming because I figured it would be a large expense. I STUPIDLY trusted an even stupider family member, who refereed me to this "auto shop" for repair. I went in for service on June 11th, paid $390 to refill my AC, and replace a part they claimed was "necessary" .. they told me if I had any further issues they had put in a product that would provide more information as to if I had a leak/ where it was leaking. Fast forward 2 DAYS.. I get in my car, no more cold air ... AGAIN. Not even 48 hours later. I immediately called and asked what the next steps were as it hadn't even been 2 full days yet, and they instructed me to bring it back in so they could check for the leak they had mentioned previously, on the phone I mentioned I was on shift for next 5 days so it wouldn't be until then that I could bring it back in. I was not able to make it back in until the 18th. After I brought it back within an hour they "diagnosed" my car as needing a new compressor. Parts, labor, AND ANOTHER AC RECHARGE WITH FREON..You know what I had just paid for that didn't even last 48 hours!! The estimate totaling $1,069.00 for everything. OBVIOUSLY this was very upsetting, so I went back into the shop to try to negotiate with them in some way. After seemingly arguing with Jose for 45 minutes he agreed to waive my refilling fee but let me know he was doing me a HUGE favor. HA! My personal favorite part was them hearing me argue with the gentlemen, to then bring out a female who tried to "better explain it to me". She utilized scare tactics to try to convince me to have the work done, as soon as possible, because "the tariffs will significantly increase the price of everything once that starts kicking in" .... Thank God I have some kind of sense in me, and figured it was at least worth a second opinion from elsewhere. HAHAHA BUCKLE UP!!! I had a much more intelligent friend then recommend me to another mechanic shop in SA. I took it in, and this time within a few hours, I got this response. " Hey soooo I'm not sure what that place did, but I have never seen auto work like that in MY LIFE " There were wires not connected to anything, wires connected incorrectly, I've genuinely just never seen anything like it..... SO I went back connected everything the way it should be and NOW YOUR AC IS WORKING PERFECTLY. I don't even feel right charging you for it, since the work was NEVER COMPLETED CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME" IM SORRY WHAT!!? In the end the lovely real mechanic only charged me for the refilling of the AC with the Freon and we called it a day. Since then now 3 MONTHS LATER, my AC has continued to stay in IMPECCABLE condition, ice cold, no issues whatsoever. ZERO complaints. In NO way do I feel like this was not a HUGE SCAM, and grab for money.. trying to replace unnecessary things, as this company knew I am a female, with no automotive knowledge. 1000000% taking advantage of an unknowing victim. Please I urge you, if you utilize this company in any way shape or form, first off DONT, but if you must, before going through with it.. do yourself a favor and seek a second opinion. Could be the difference in over a GRAND. DO BETTER CD AUTOMOTIVE !!!!!! Truly DESPICABLE.
