Fire tap consistently produces great cocktails and a menu that has something for everyone. Their space is open and bright, with a mix of tables and booths. Fire tap happens to be conveniently located if you're leaving physical therapy next door and/or I have a girlfriend who goes on dates here since it's close to the gym where her kids do sports. Other than that, we do not seek out fire tap. Sitting at the bar most recently, things started off amazing, but ended not the best, because our bartender was guilt tripping us into closing our tab all because he was leaving for the night around 5ish. Not our problem, and I think it's tacky to put that on your customers. Stay till we're done or transfer our tab to the next bartender...annoying.

Blackened Halibut Wrap

Middle of the road here. Not great, not terrible. Very casual atmosphere and seemed clean, both a plus. Service and food was so-so. Started with appetizers, cheese sticks and wings, both really good but entrees were not so good. Halibut is on the menu but the blackened halibut wrap is not a win. I'm not sure if it was the cheese or perhaps the method used to blacken, but the wrap had my entire plate swimming in melted fat from cheese or butter...not so appealing when you're on a road trip and the local bears are looking to fatten up for the winter...

My days of craving Firetap have come to an end. They changed their menu, and it is not for the better. They changed their Mac and cheese recipie. Now it is a watery Alfredo tasting sauce. Not the creamy gooey cheddar sauce they had. The chips now come on top regularly which is good but they added bacon so they can charge $15 for 1 small size, they had small and large before. Also they put it in a frighteningly hot skillet. Husabnd got the "chicken drumlettes" no longer chicken wings. They also came in a skillet which was way hotter than my skillet. They were keeping the wings burning hot he had to prop them up in the skillet and scrape the meat off so he wouldn't have to hold the bone. Pretty sure they were the Costco ones that they heated up in the oven. That's why it took our food awhile to come out. They changed the menu but kept the waitress who is slow and walks around without eagerness who've we've had several times over the years. She's the definition of the hit or miss service that Firetap is known for. She kept walking by our table while we were just sitting there looking at each other with our coats on ready to go when we were trying to pay. 2 stars for their drinks.

The clam chowder is a favorite. Very tasty and rich. Others in my family enjoy pizza and pretzel sandwiches.

I do this so they know ahead of time that I am not being picky, just asking for what I am willing to pay for. I usually LOVE the rosemary garlic fries, but mine arrived soggy and barely warm. The server was quick to offer to correct this and returned with a plate of perfectly crisp hot fries! My grandson ordered a kids' salad and the kids' salmon and rice! This was the best buy of the day, as the salmon fillet appeared to be between two and three ounces of beautifully grilled salmon, with a generous portion of coconut rice. The salad was a garden salad with tomatoes, lettuce, and carrots, nicely dressed in ranch dressing. He also ordered the children's dessert of Mini Mousse, which is a good-sized chocolate mousse that he LOVED! Grandma had a couple of nibbles too! I enjoyed a Broken Tooth raspberry wheat, and it was fabulous as always. Bears Tooth Grill offers consistently delicious food, and when they make a mistake, they happily correct it!

They also show movies which is a pretty cool concept! I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza (thin crust style, $4.25 a slice), the kale caesar, and chips and salsa a lot. The fries are also marvelous. I had the Salmon Benny ($24) - it was fine, and the hollandaise is a bit too tart for my taste. It was brought out after everything else which was sort of sad - I ended up getting full off of the sympathy bites everyone was giving me and barely touched it, lol. The table was not happy with the service but I thought it was fine. Just no-frills service.

Floaters has a large dining room that is separated by a short hall from the Pub Area. It has two entrances one for the restaurant and the other for the pub. This night was Steak and Prime Rib night until the kitchen runs out. The Prime Rib Dinner was very good and ample. The meat was cooked to perfection and great. The baked potatoes and vegetables were well prepared. The one waitress cover both the Pub and dining room had her job cut out for her and she was very busy. Although busy she was efficient and served us promptly. They also have Taco Tuesday that I am looking forward to trying. We all were pleased with our meals and will be turning for the Prime Rib Dinner again.

It didn't have a alot of flavor, luckily it was served with some au jus, it was also full of gristles and nearly inedible because of that. The fries were fresh and green beans were just your typical canned green beans and not very flavorful. In all, was it worth $21.95, no. Will I be coming back? Probably not. Now if you're in the mood for anything else, their menu options are plenty. Ranging from sandwiches, burgers to even nachos. The waitress was lovely and very attentive. The place itself was very clean.
