I have to agree with Sam C. This is one of the best dealerships I've ever been to. We started at 1st Nissan but after 25mins with no salesman, we decided to move to 1st Honda. We walked around and looked at their used inventory and right as we had a question, Michael appears. He was extremely friendly and to the point, no bullshit. I loved it! We explained that my wife was pregnant and we needed a bigger car to support the new addition to our family. He immediately brought us to a super clean certified 2012 Accord SE that we had been looking at and took us for a test ride. Told us all about the safety features, crash test scores and answered all the questions we had. He pulled over and let my wife drive it and she was instantly hooked. I declined the work to be done by them and took my car to my mechanic that I have been using for years Low and behold my brakes were fine more than 50% left on the brake pads. Bought very first car from here brand new! Sold it to me with Noticable scratch and hanging front spoiler. So i have recently bought my first car from first Honda. I bought a brand spankin new Honda Civic hatchback sport Manuel. The car is absolutely beautiful and I paid total of $25000 for it. This car was suppose to be brand new (meaning no scratches or dents or anything on it) well upon discussing price of the car with the Dealer, they had mentioned how the car had a mild scratch on the bottom right of the front bumper and the spoiler was coming off as well. Despite this, the dealer still refused to lower the price by even a dollar because they reassured me that Id be able to bring it in and get it fixed for free no problem. Well once I had decided to go with the car despite the scratch and hanging spoiler, due to the color of the car being to rare, I took it home and it's been great. I then took the car back a day or two later to get the scratch fixed. They then told me that it would take 3-5 days to fix the scratch and hanging spoiler, this is very bad because I have two jobs and go to school so not having a way of getting around hinders my schedule! At the same time, no one had mentioned prior that it was take that long to fix it other wise I would have planned better. Nonetheless I said ok and gave them my car. They came back a lil bit later and told me that they would have to order in the spoiler and that it was be at the Honda on 10/15 and that they would call me when it came in. I bought the car 9/28 as a reference. I said ok and took my car back. 10/15 rolls around and no call. So o called the next day and asked and they then said oh sorry there was a delay on your order and that it's arrive on 10/25. Already annoyed and frustrated, I said ok and went on. Today is 10/29, I have gotten no calls from first Honda for the past 4 days. So all in all, ABSOLUTELY HATED having to deal with this dealership. Unfortunately I still have to in order to get my car fixed. First Honda of Simi Valley has completely ruined my experience of not only buying my first car, but buying my first brand new car, which wasn't really brand new after that scratch. read more

Just bought a new car. The Honda HR-V. It's for my wife and she absolutely loves it! The dealership is clean and kid friendly and the salesman I worked with with knowledgeable and kind. The managers were fair but I don't have a lot to compare to as buying a car is not something we do everyday, say every 5 or 6 years. I don't like being attacked by sales people rushing you as you pull up and while they didn't do that, they WERE all (at least 4 of them) just kind of standing around the front door leaning up against the cars waiting on people to come in. This is the only thing I didn't particularly like. I think they all could have been doing something a little more productive. After the purchase they were good at going over features and letting you know about service. As with all dealers I just wish they would give you the bottom line from the beginning instead of having to haggle your way to a better deal. While the haggling was limited, we still had to go back 2 times before we got the real deal we were satisfied with. All in all it wasn't a bad experience and should we buy another car soon we would consider them. So 4 stars for service, cleanliness and being kid friendly, as well as finalizing a deal quickly after mid level haggling was finalized. Side note... Had to go back a few weeks later with a question and they handled it professionally and promptly. So that gained another star. Went there for their used car sale on the last day of the sale and was not expecting to find or buy a really nice used 2004 Honda Accord EX! They showed me the CarFax report, which showed the car had no accidents, only had one owner and took very good care of it.
