This was my first visit to this location and it was slammed! Truthfully, we did go on a Sunday morning when brunch is popular, but we still had a 45 minute wait and I was suprised that was the case for this location in Arlington. Once we finally got seated, no one told us that you had to stand in a line to order your food and drinks. We ended up sitting at our table waiting for a server for 15 minutes before we realized what we had to do. This review is for today only. I am a frequent customer and usually have a much better experience with service and the quality of the food. Today both were sub-par. The waiter was slow, forgot some of our requests, and never came back to check on how we were doing after the food was served. My omelet was very sloppily served on the plate and looked more like a scramble. The onions were cut very large and the avocados were not ripe enough and cold-made the omelet less than warm. The center of the omelet, or what I think was the center was undercooked. The coffee was tepid and tasted old--he never brought me another pot as requested. I am experiencing inconsistenties in service and quality more frequently and am searching for a better breakfast restaurant. read more

Huge FW fan, I mean how can you not LOVE First Watch. Thé menu covers all good desires from super Healthy & light to Hearty and wholesome. Kale Tonic is always a staple start for my family. Some locations have liquor so your able to get the Kale Tonic spiked. The kids waffle is a regular rotation for our children. I end up with the Market Hash LESS the cheeses. My husband signature dish is the elevated egg sandwich in which he modifies to remove bacon and replace with chicken sausage and the eggs he switch to scrambled egg whites. read more

First Watch never disappoints!! It was a cold and windy day so we got our food to go. There were a good number of people dining indoors though, so just keep that in mind if you're looking to dine in. They do have outdoor seating, but it was closed on the day we went (probably too cold). I got the Florentine Benedict, which has no meat for those vegetarians out there whoop whoop. My boyfriend got the Elevated Egg Sandwich, which looked really delicious but also really messy to eat. We also got two of their juices, the Morning Mediation and Kale Tonic. Great atmosphere & service! We were seated quickly when we arrived about 930am on a Sunday morning! The menu was very interesting and it was hard to decide what we wanted! My boyfriend had the chickachanga & was totally pleased! I had the trifecta - eggs over medium, bacon, & a banana granola almond pancake! Sooo yummy! The bottomless coffee carafe and the cute "milk" bottle water to refill our glasses ensured we did not get thirsty! The syrup bottle even arrived at the table warm! Solid breakfast spot with interesting choices. Wasn't a big fan of the cinnamon roll because it didn't seem fresh and was pricy for the portion size. Loved the banana pancake but don't understand the $5.99 price tag. The tea was the best I've had at almost any local restaurant- truly! It told us we were 25th in line, updated as you moved up and an average waiting time. It was very easy to use! When we arrived, we checked in at the host stand. I finally gave this place another try. I had gotten their avocado toast last year and they had put brown/old avocado on it. I was pretty disappointed, bc I tried it at a different location and loved it. The restaurant did a good job of reaching out to make this situation right. I know the avocado toast is good and I wanted to try it again, but I went the low carb route this time. I got the heathy turkey omelette. It was plated very nicely with a row of fresh tomatoes and a side of bread with jam. It was not the typical omelette I'm used to, where everything is mixed and cooked into the egg. It was an egg folded over with all the ingredients laying inside. It definitely looked better than it tasted. I didn't like the cubed turkey chunks or the extra large pieces of crunchy onion (those should have definitely been cut smaller). The omelet itself was a little on the bland size. Thank goodness for the feta cheese, it added a few pops of flavor. I would not get this again. Looking on the bright side, thankfully it was healthy! All of my food was fresh this time, so I definitely can't complain about that either! Overall, this restaurant is clean and service is friendly. Everyone I went with enjoyed their food. It was a pretty decent omelette nothing amazing, more cheese and chorizo would have been great. I do like the toast they serve here. My husband went for the seasonal carnitas bowl, the picture by the door looked great and fully loaded. However, the dish was underwhelming when it arrived - it was very on the small portion, not much meat or beans or anything really - he enjoyed the dish, there just wasn't much of it. We also tried the million dollar bacon - which I liked but my husband said he would have preferred regular bacon.
